Playing Both Sides, The Right Way

Like a large, golden flower amongst the stars, the La Vie En Rose sat suspended in an eerie mechanical beauty. The Anaheim Electronic's floating dock was definitely an impressive structure, but Lieutenant Commander Banks was more concerned with what was in the dock; his superiors had sent him out here to pick up a new unit, and he was eager to see what awaited him. Just ahead of the Augustus, the modified Sodom class Rum Runner escorted the massive Freighter through Anaheim's space. Banks took a deep sigh as they began docking with the La Vie En Rose; whatever they had here for him, he hoped that it would be enough to placate his that nagging feeling of regret and uncertainty that had plagued him at times since the end of the war.

As the Augustus finished docking procedures, Jeremiah Black and the excited Captain Derpy Hooves awaited Richard Banks to join them. The ex-Zeek looked down at his trusted companion and smiled; they had done their job.

"Well done Mr. Black..." A man in a lab coat had come from behind to greet their guest. "I can only hope you and Lt. Commander Banks had no issues?"

"None sir, we're just waiting for hi..." Before he could finish his sentence, Richard had joined the group on the floor. "Well, there's our guest!"

"This way, Lt Commander." The Anaheim representive turned and led the trio to the hangar that was housing the prototype mobile suit. Banks followed patiently as they finally came to the slot that housed a sleek looking red mobile suit. The officer looked up, first thing he noticed was the rather large thrusters behind its shoulders, followed by the many smaller thrusters around its body. It definitely was different, but as he looked it over he had a good feeling about it.

"I present to you, the Gerbera Tetra..."

Playing Both Sides, The Wrong Way

"Well hello Herr Kratos."

Bishop Kratos awoke to see the petite Marina Nimue and a pair of panzergrenadiers standing over his bed. He slowly reached for the gun he kept hidden under his pillow, assuming the worst.

"We've been going through your things, I hope you don't mind." Marina began. "It seems that you've been having dealings with the Feddies. Something about becoming an ex-pat and all those fancy things. Is there anything you'd like to tell me about this?"

Kratos gulped. In answer he pulled the pistol out from his pillow, levelled it at Marinas head and pulled the trigger. But one of the two black armored guards was already in front of her.

Only one more shot was fired on board the Pendragon that day.

Outcome
Delaz Fleet Victory
  • Bishop Kratos: 7CP Gained, Killed In Action
