Zeon Command - A Bao A Qu Deployments and Plan

W Field:

Objective:
1) Maintain control of W Field.
2) Delay the enemy at all costs so that reinforcements can arrive from reserve.
3) At the conclusion of fighting, break through the siege and regroup at four days from Earth.

Plan: Everything in W should be playing a defensive game. Oggos should scatter and direct long range fire on enemy forces to harass them at every turn while the Jiccos get into position to deploy anti-beam warheads to protect the two vessels. Yoritomo should lead the assembled mobile suits in defense of the ships along with the Big Rang which will act as their direct support.

Objectives:
1) Maintain control of E Field.
2) Total destruction of all enemy Magellan and their crews.
3) Play aggressively in order to buy time for the Dolos to launch all its mobile suits.
4) At the conclusion of fighting, break through the siege and regroup at four days from Earth.

Plan: Dolos should assume a broadside position where it can unleash the full power of its guns at will on the oncoming forces. The remaining vessels should assume positions in the rear of the Dolos’ “blindspots” and prepare for long range bombardment against incoming enemies. If incoming fire becomes too heavy then vessels are to use the Dolos itself as cover against fire until enemy forces begin to close. While Hans and Raven undergo their mission with the Panzers, all vessels will be launching their mobile suits. All mobile armors will dive under the plane of fire and then come at the enemy fleet from its bottom in order to avoid being caught in the fire exchange between all vessels. Their primary objective is to blow past the initial defenders with heavy firepower and sink all Magellans in an attempt to cripple the enemy command structure. The mobile armor force will be followed by a force lead by DeGrau and another led by Haifa coming parallel to the origin path used by the mobile armors. While this is going on the additional forces launched from the Dolos are to assume defensive positions and prepare to repel mobile suits and other enemy elements from closing in on their motherships.

Objectives:

2) Repel all Pegasus-class Vessels
3) Destroy all Gundams!

Plan: The Gwazine outranges practically every known Federation vessel. The Gwadan should have a field day here while its MS forces ensure that no enemy is able to close. The artillery support will just be icing on the cake. All MS should assume position to intercept all incoming forces while the vessels around the Gwazine pound away at everything that comes into range. MS should focus on letting the Gwazine do the heavy lifting while they repel the incoming MS teams and wipe out all Gundam class mobile suits and anything else unfortunate enough to get in their way. Zeong is to wait in reserve along with Banks until the heavy fighting begins and then sweep in to provide heavy fire on any beleaguered Federation mobile suit caught in the fighting. It’s hoped that the sudden appearance of the two of them will catch the enemy off guard and rapidly give all Zeon forces the momentum needed to tear through their foes and bring the fight to the enemy.

Objectives:
1) Maintain control of S Field.
2) Buy time for the Doloroa to launch its entire compliment of mobile suits.
3) Pull enemy forces in and then annihilate them using the Gattle charge.
4) At the conclusion of fighting, break through the siege and regroup at four days from Earth.

Plan: The Doloroa should take up a position similar to the Dolos; optimization or broadsides with remaining vessels taking up position in the rear of the blind spots. The Jiccos should do their best to provide support for the larger vessels while the mobile suits launch and take up defensive positions. The artillery support should concentrate on hitting concentration of vessels from long range while every vessel does their best to bombard. All Gattles are to assume a position like a ring spaced widely around the Doloroa group with the mouth facing towards the Federation group, and then at Ray Walker’s command, begin a charge for the enemy forces from all angles. The hope is that the massive number of Gattles combined with the Federation fleet’s MS becoming entangled with the Doloroa group’s own, will give them an ample opportunity to ram countless missiles and rockets into their ships and utterly destroy them.

Objective:
1) Ensure that Zeon forces remain in control of all fields by reinforcing where appropriate.
2) When the battle has become hopeless, break through the siege at all costs and regroup at four days from Earth.

Plan: The reserve force will be the sole source of reinforcements for each field. They will also be the final defenders of A Bao A Qu if the Federation manages to break through. To the later end, all hangars that are not in use are to be booby trapped using any means available or otherwise just sealed off from the main fortress. Marine and Panzer forces are to set up choke points on any path leading into the body of the fortress from the hangars or any other means of entry. A special path is to be kept open at all times for officers to make it to any docked ship; this will be the most heavily guarded section and should employ all available panzer forces. Once the situation becomes hopeless then this path should be used to ferry survivors away from the battlefield. All forces unable to escape are ordered to make A Bao A Qu a graveyard for as many Federation soldiers as possible through any means necessary.
