Do you think it would be better to scatter the artillery units at different landing points to hit the base from different sides, or just put them all together for a single line of fire? I'm kind of partial to the numerous small teams idea I talked about in my earlier Zeon side board post, to be honest.
Edit - Decided to do a full write-up since I'm waiting on laundry and so we can get a plan finalized before I go to work tonight. Again, here are both the map Chan did (thanks a lot btw Chan <3) and the basic one I did so we can have an overview of the assault.

Here are the ideas I had for how to divide our forces in the beginning of the battle:
Recommended Deployment - Air/Ground ForcesGroup AlphaMembers - 1x Gaw, Apsalas, 1x lvl2 Luggun, 4x Dopp (the aircraft are currently on the Gaw), Ender (Gouf and Zaku II J, Zaku II K), MyTitan (Dom and L2 Zaku II J, L2 Zaku II K), 5x Magella Attack Tank (will be on the Gaw).
Overview - Proceeds to most southern, most western drop zone in the mountains indicated on the rough map. Mobile suits and tanks drop and begin to hunt any nearby enemy suits or tanks outside the safety of the bases using Luggun data. Zaku II K's begin bombarding the base, prioritizing walls and Radar / Communication tower. Gaw and Luggun ascend to high altitude, covered by Dopps and Apsalas, and begin high altitude bombing of base. Dopps in this group attempt to destroy any and all Dish aircraft encountered. Apsalas acts as point defense for Gaw against enemy aircraft and missile fire. Once confirmation of exterior patrols is destroyed, mobile suits and tanks proceed to advance towards base in direction of second waypoint (phase 2).
Note - All mobile suits currently on the Gaw are part of this group, and will be para-dropped onto the landing zone.
Group BetaMembers - 3x Dodai YS (currently on Gaw), lvl2 Zaku II K (Zero / Marko Dresner's MS team), Orichi (Zaku II K and lvl2 Zaku II K), 5x Dopp (Flight Support)
Overview - All units proceed to slightly-south west drop zone, all mobile suits in this group will be riding Dodai's to cross the sea. Mobile suits dismount Dodai's in mountains, and begin shelling installation. Dodai's group up with Dodai's in Group Cappa and begin bombing base, priority targets are fixed defenses and Radar / Communication tower. Dopp's in this group fly cover for Dodai's and attempt to prevent enemy fighters from engaging the Gaw.
Group CappaMembers - 6x Dodai YS (Fleet Support), Gaplant (Zaku II S), Zero (Zaku II S and 2x Zaku II J), Ryocha (Zaku II F), Andrew (Efreet), lvl2 Luggun and lvl2 Zaku II J (Orichi / Ernest Till MS Team), 5x Dopp (Flight Support)
Overview - All units proceed to eastern-most terrestrial drop zone. All mobile suits (with the exception of the NPC lvl2 Zaku II J from Ernest Till's team) are going to ride Dodai's to cross the sea quickly and efficiently. Mobile suits dismount Dodai's and begin to hunt down any enemy forces located outside the base. Dodai's group up with Dodai's in Group Betaand begin bombing base, priority targets are fixed defenses and Radar / Communication tower. Dopps in this group proceed to eastern side of island to rendezvous with Group Delta and fly cover for them. Primary target for Dopps are Don Escargots. Luggun remains high altitude to assist in supplying of targeting data and battlefield overview. Once confirmation of exterior patrols is destroyed, mobile suits proceed to advance towards base in direction of second waypoint (phase 2).
Recommended Deployment - Naval ForcesGroup DeltaMembers - Jukon II, Jukon, Chris (Z'gok and Luggun, L2I Acquy, L2 Aggugguy, Acguy, Panzergrenadiers), Dan (Panzergrenadiers and Marines, Panzergrenadiers)
Overview - Jukons proceed, submerged, to a position outside of base harbors. Once deployment of ground troops is confirmed, mobile suits and infantry launch towards enemy carrier - primary objective is to capture or tactically disable, if this fails then the carrier will be destroyed. Once escort to carrier is complete, mobile suits and Jukons open fire on enemy battleship, under cover of flight support from Group Cappa Dopps squadron.
EndgameOnce destruction of enemy vessels and fixed defenses is confirmed, all units converge on base and artillery bombardment cease. Panzergrenadier and infantry units storm HQ and capture command personnel, all enemy mobile suits are to be destroyed.
Phase OverviewPhase 0 CompletionPhase 0 will be complete when all units are suitably gathered, armed, and equipped to begin the assault, and task forces begin transport towards objectives.
Phase 1 CompletionPhase 1 will be complete when all ground units are successfully landed onto the island, and naval units have established a perimeter around eastern harbors.
Phase 2 CompletionPhase 2 will be complete when all ground forces outside of the base, the majority of the fixed emplacements inside the base, and all naval forces are destroyed or otherwise disabled.
Phase 3 CompletionPhase 3 will be complete when destruction all enemy mobile suits and tanks is confirmed, and infantry units have successfully stormed the HQ.
Note - Phase 3 can also be completed by another victory condition, such as the enemy surrendering before enemy HQ is captured.
