Yet another day has passed and Jay found herself in a recovery bed, but this wasn't new to her and she rather enjoyed the peace recovery rooms had to them. She watched as the medics went to and fro checking on the wounded and injured.
“Tessa it time for your check up. How are you feeling today?” said a medic walking up to her.
“I'm a bit sore all over but its not much, I've had worse than this before.” Jay said smiling. The medics are so nice here she though to herself.
“That's good to hear” the medic scribbled down some things on her clipboard. “Now if you would lend me your arm and we'll start.” Jay sat there quietly as the medic checked her bp and pulse. “Normal and normal” she said jotting some more on the clipboard. “Alright if you'd face this way and pull the back of you shirt up we'll continue”
Jay was hesitant but did as the medic asked reviling her back and the scars that covered it. “I'm sorry it isn't a pleasant sight” she said before her shirt was over her head. She could tell it was a shock to the medic by her silence and tried to change the subject quickly “So hows the weather out side?”
But that was yesterday.
Jay yawned lazily, this wasn't near the longest she was in recovery for but she wasn't use to all the bed rest like before. She moved herself to get up cringing slightly, tho this amount of pain was manageable for her to move around in. Jay walked around for a bit before stopping at a window and staring out at the clouds.

Jack Verse was arguing with the repair crews about how the repairs should go on his GMPGT. After mu8ch yelling and tool throwing a massive headache decided to pop up. Feeling that he wasn't one hundred percent yet, he climbed down and walked to the infirmary.
Guess I'm pushing myself a bit too hard. Maybe I should of rested in the infirmary like the medics told me to.
As Jack said to himself in his head. The 42nd Brigade has been in and seen combat, non-stop for almost two weeks now. Jack wonders if that soon he'll be of some use again for the fleet and the EFGF. He finally gets to the infirmary and walks on in. She see's a female-ish figure at the window and figures its the Corporal. He walks up next to his superior officer.
"Well now it's nice to see you up and about Ma'am. Feeling better I take it?"

Jay turned smiling sorta still off in her happy place. “Why thank you I'm feeling much better now. But please call me Jay, Ma'am makes me sound old” she said cheerfully taking a step back noticing who was talking to her. “Oh and thanks for saving me. I would be here today if you didn't do what you did back then.”

"It's what we're trained to do in situations like that."
Jack said with a smile as he turned to look at Jay. He then turned back to look out the window at the blue sky. The events of that day played through his head. His smile disappeared and his face got all serious.
"When we Dutchman and the rest of the fleet for that matter were getting shot, I knew we had to do something quick. It was just a matter of time before the ship was destroyed, so that's when I got help in putting you in the cockpit of your mobile suit. As soon as I knew you were in there I did the same and got in my own MS. That's when we ejected out respective suits before the Dutchman blew up."
Jack then turned back to Jay, still with such a serious face.
"At least I reacted fast enough to save out butts but not that of our ship. I just hope we can bounce back from this some how."
