You are so not allowed to talk about websiting, Mr. FI. This is what FI's code looks like. Totally serious. <strong><strong><span style=helvetica;sans;bullshit><span style=small> Redundant</span></span> <span style=helvetica;sans;bullshit><span style=small> tags much</span></span></strong></strong><br> The same goddamn line on OYW would look like <br><b>Redundant tags much</b> I have NO IDEA how you would edit something like FI WITHOUT using some sort of website designing software. It would take far too long. HEY MR. <BR> <BR>stupid <BR>stupid face MR. CID-HAD-TO-TEACH-ME-HOW-TO-USE-HTML MR. COULDN'T-EVEN-BOLD-TEXT ffs

Now, now. Play nice children.
If you do, you all get ice cream! You can have 35 flavours to choose from!
I would really love to get into Illcara.

Uhh... Future Imperfect is a standards-compliant template, edited nightly (snicker) using Wordpress. Not hardcoded HTML. Hence all the redundant code inserted as Berrik has updated over the months. All the double strong stuff (which is unfortunate) actually was put in by the Wordpress CMS. Not all that different than the old Geocities stuff (which I guess Illcara uses?), actually, except a lot more user friendly and feature rich. Very useful if you're working with people who have little knowledge of HTML (like Berrik).
Also, henceth, the...
If you'd like, though, I'll email you a good book that teaches standards-based web design.

Oh I know.
Just I was making Chans upgrade for luls the other day and I did a doubletake at all the redundant tags. It took me literally twenty minutes to just READ it and figure out how to make edits there was so much crap there.

Incidentally, the reason the Illcara site is so creepdog is that rather than an actual background, the background is an image with a set height. Every time he types more than the image allows he makes another page. So you have Rules1.html, Rules2.html, Rules3.html, Rules4.html, Rules5.html, etc.
All his pages are capitalized too, which bugs me.

I actually remember that background from a long time ago. That's trippy shit. I think at some point I was messing around with Illcara's design for a purpose I can't begin to imagine.
I have a feeling that giant image is to make up for some limitation in Geocities that I thankfully no longer remember.

He did the page in pagebuilder just like the rest of us. I had to remove the pagebuilder tags from all 200 of his files when I archived it. Took 3 days.
It was like working in a coal mine.
Has anybody heard from the guy in the last 24 hours? We've derailed the thread pretty good and if he's serious I want to make a more serious thread about it.

Oh, don't mean to derail the thread any longer, but I did miss one thing in the chaff. Frenzy: Thank you for what you've been doing at Future Imperfect. Sincerely. It really has improved lately.

I can actually say the same, since I really am a spiteful egotistical fuck who probably checks FI more often than a good deal of its members.
You've been doing great, Frenzy.

Can someone write up a NZ3 for me so I can submit the bitch to Berrik before he goes and blows a gasket?
Jesus Christ, I've got a life for the first time in years and NOW it's necessary for me to do something.

I wrote this one up for him but he was so dead set on having Tian do it.
Code name: Perfect Neue Ziel/ Grand Neue Ziel Unit type: prototype attack use Newtype mobile armor Accommodation: pilot only, in standard cockpit in torso Dimensions: overall height 96.6 meters; overall width 93.6 meters Weight: empty 235.2 metric tons; max gross 499.9 metric tons Armor materials: gundarium alloy/ceramic composite Powerplant: Minovsky type ultracompact fusion reactor, output rated at 75800 kW Propulsion: rocket thrusters: 359000 kg, 204000 kg, 1125000 kg x 15 Performance: maximum thruster acceleration 5.25 G Equipment and design features: sensors, range unknown; psycommu system; detachable head, can be operated without main body; 2 x hidden manipulator arms; Minovsky Craft System Fixed armaments: 1 x large mega particle cannon, mounted in torso; 1 x mega particle cannon, mounted in head; 2 x wire guided heavy claw arm, mounts mega particle gun/gigantic beam saber each; 2 x 80mm vulcan gun, mounted on main body; 6 x funnel missile launcher, mounted on main body; 2 x 8-tube micromissile launcher, mounted in hip boost binders; 1 x 12-tube micromissile launcher, mounted in tail binder; 12 x mega particle gun, 6 mounted in shoulders and 6 mounted in tail binder; I-field barrier generator, provides 360 degrees of protection against all beam weapons fire, mounted in main body; 4 x I-field barrier generators, 2 mounted in shoulders and 2 mounted in tail binder, provides 360 degrees of protection against beam weapons; 2 x beam sabers, mounted in hidden manipulator arms. Remote weapons: 12 x funnel, stored in recharge rack on back
Note: With the new upgrade, the Neue Ziel has increased exponentially in size and weight. To make up for the change, it has been refitted with additional thrusters. The one drawback to the increase in size is the fact that the Neue Ziel takes up two mobile suit slots in any base or ship. Hardly a sacrifice.
Aside from the cosmetic changes, the Neue Ziel is a force to be reckoned with due to its improved armament. The Neue Ziel’s missiles have been upgraded to funnel missiles, which are now controllable by the psycommu system. These missiles are able to lethally target opponent mobile suits by getting under the skirt armor and taking out joints. The amount of funnels has doubled, and 3 sets of micro missile launchers have been added. A vast array of mega particle cannons and gun have also been spread throughout the Neue Ziel’s body. Two hidden arms have been added to the suit, making the mobile armors single weakness a thing of the past.
Among the Neue Ziel’s new features, its added Minovsky Craft System is perhaps the best. With this system, the Neue Ziel is able to fight efficiently under the effects of gravity.
