I am against this rescue operation as it puts a heavy burden of risk on Chan's life and we risk annihilating our own fleet at their expense. I'm inclined to believe this rescue operation is a rash decision just because they have a Gwazine. I agree it's a powerful asset, but not powerful enough to devote PC deaths and a FFA price toward.
That, and I don't think Eld would ever let it succeed anyways. Call it a gut feeling.

They are just trying to to do anything they can to keep the Gwazine and their hides. It's at 50% with a unfamiliar crew at the guns. Its has enough of a Zeon crew to cause a ruckus once it starts getting hit. I want to destroy whatever is left of the EF fleet. Losing Chan and the Gwazine will just be the cost of that. I would prefer to stop them now and rebuild later then let them run away with a ship that will hurt us later.

Harsh, but you're right. If we're ever going to make a go for this thing, we have to do it NOW.
Ideally, We could stage a rescue for him - order a few flights of Marines to at least make an attempt to retake. If he tries to bust out today as well, we'll have better chances of taking it back. They've got an NT crew, too, which further increases our chances. The Gwazine is damaged, too. The Tivvay is faster. If we can get UNDER it and ram the capsule into the belly of the gwazine, we should make it.
Also, why not try to get the Komusai in there, instead of the Fury's capsule? Saves us a ship, at any rate.
It's risky, but it's now or never.

Chan has all of our rp which he cannot use. So i have account for flight support and artillery that they may use to cover they escape.

#3 - You guys are in a much better position than them today, since they lost all of their mobile suits, both their ships are beat up pretty bad, and 800 of their 1000 RP is tied up in Aku who is not very active. You have very reasonable chances at an effective counterattack today, depending on what goes down. Just wanted to point this out if you guys hadn't seen it or considered it. Ket posted this in the open discussion. Most of their rp is in an hardly ever active guy. So its very likely they won't be able to do much. You guys have the advantage in this situation. So do what you have to. Also you guys gotta make sure Chan makes an escape attempt today. it might be what turns things in your favor. Good luck, oh and Arc, I'll keep watch for Chan on msn and let him know to try to escape if you'd like. |

That's plenty to at least 'Run her aground" so to speak. If we don't have the RP to call in marines, we at least have the firepower to prevent her from going anywhere.
