The African Union does not appreciate accusations that it peddles in weapons of mass destruction or would be willing to utilize them for monetary compensation. This is also a gross breach of the Antarctic Treaty that the Earth Federation is a party to which would greatly hinder the diplomatic capacity of the Federation on the solar scale. If this communique were ever to be released the result would be scandalous at minimum and a fall out with other parties of the Antarctic Treaty likely. We recommend greater tact in future communication and consideration of your position as well as ours.
However, while this line is open I would like to relate to you that the African Union will be entering a point soon where it will need the support of the Earth Federation to carry out a complicated operation. The particulars will be shared at a later date, but it is requested that the Earth Federation provide military backing to advance our common agenda and improve our mutual relations in these treacherous times.
