I assumed they were just small rivers that branched from the Amazon. Anyway...
Should I stay in South America or head elsewhere?

I was assuming that I'd get a repair bonus from the repair bay/hospital. Do I have to start there to get that? If I do, then I'll just march back to New Amsterdam instead.

Yes, you have to be fighting on a base with a repair bay to get the bonus.
I didn't think the Himalaya could go to Jaburo either until I checked. Tis rather humorous.

In that case, I'm moving to the West Arctic instead and leaving the 87th for now. I'd be near useless at 1/4th VP anyway.
