Contest #1 - RPing Contest
Since Odesser is going to be going on for a long while, we're going to have an RPing contest while it is going on. However! It is going to be a bit different than our normal contest fare.
First of all, only people who are NOT at the Odessa event are allowed to participate in this contest. I'll provide a list of who all that is on Monday, but I'm guessing about half the RPG will be at the event.
Second of all, rather than give out specialization prizes, I am going to give out VP, so the people who aren't at the event don't feel like they're suddenly underclassed by the people who got a lot of VP at the event. Because of this, people on this weeks top 5 EXP chart also cannot participate.
The prizes will be as follows:
1st place - 10 VP
2nd place - 8 VP
3rd place - 6 VP
4th place - 4 VP
5th place - 2 VP
These gains can be exchanged for CP if you want, and are subject to the normal rules for VP reductions.
Contest #2 - Profile Contest
This contest is going to be like our normal contests. The player who improves upon his profile the most before the Odessa event finishes will win the prize. People who have won previous profile contests (Marcus, Chan and Cid) cannot participate.
1st place prize - A specialization
2nd place prize - 250 RP
Contest #3 - Planning Contest
As per usual, this contest will go to the member who does the most and best planning before the Odessa event is over. Anyone can participate in this, but I am only going to consider posts for this event that are in regards to strategy for after the Odessa event has concluded. You guys are going to need to go right back to the normal rigor regardless of who wins the event, and I want you to be prepared.
1st place prize - A promotion
2nd place prize - 250 RP
Contest #4 - RPing Contest #2
This contest is focused towards getting our people who have never made a solo RP thread to do so. The first side that gets each of its members who have never made a solo RP thread to make one gets 250 Side RP. If the Rogues get it first, each and every Rogue will get 50 RP.
I reserve the right to discount a thread if it's so short that I think you're just doing it for contest schenanigans. Further, in order to qualify, you have to have made a thread with your current character.
These are the people who have never made solo RP threads. Correct me if I am wrong, guys!
