Okay, lets not harass Anastasia too much.
Anastasia, it is evident that nobody likes those rules. We're waiting for you to post up a new set.
A tip about polls, btw: There are always people who won't vote, and always people who won't elaborate. Even presidential elections only get 70% of the registered voters to vote tops.

The point, Dan, is people aren't helping if they vote for that option and don't comment. If they can bother to vote, they can bother to write a sentence or two to explain why and give out any suggestions.
I'm trying to make this as democratic as possible, but this is not a democratic election (where you just vote for a person and aren't required to give an opinion). This is supposed to be a discussion to end up with a set of rules so that as many people as possible will be satisfied with them. And the poll is there to get a quick summary of peoples opinions. I can't make this rule set using only my opinions. If people have a problem with this rule set they need to tell me WHY. Otherwise it just makes this infinitely harder than it already is. I don't want to have to write up 20 drafts and have to guess as to what people want.
Essentialy: Tell me what you what changed, or else I won't know what changes you want me to make. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if people vote for that last option as a joke and as an attempt to troll this whole process. So I therefore stand by my decision.
I'll go ahead and write up a new set and post it in a new thread.

The people who are voting and not commenting are helping. They obviously have nothing to add, because they either A - agree with the people who have proposed other options, me Dan and Threid, or B - they don't know what they want changed, they just know that they saw something they do not like.
Telling people they can't vote unless they can comment is like asking them not to vote. You may as well not have a poll and just add up replies.

I'm not going to guess, Ketara. And I don't think you're giving people the benefit of the doubt if you're going to assume they have no knowledge as to why they don't like the rules. I disagree. If they don't like them, they have an idea as to why. And they need to tell me this, otherwise my hands are tied. I'd have to guess blindly and probably post up like 10 different sets of rules, which is ridiculous, way too much work and totally unnecessary.
I need distinct opinions and commentary. If they're not going to give me that, they're essentially evoking their right to comment. So they might as well evoke their right to vote, because that vote alone is of such insignificant help, it's essentially useless.
Asking for a sentence or two, is not asking too much.

I've kind of done things like this before. You should kinda listen to me when it comes to things like trying to get opinions out of this specific group of people~
