If this is the case, I see no reason not to give Malta to the Zeon command.

I checked with Ket, and he said that captured bases can be turned over to Zeon. He went on to specify that the reason RF-1 wasn't able to be turned back over is essentially because it was "bobo."

That is exactly NOT what I said I think Andrew was drunk.
I said you can give MS or ships to an NPC base but that base ownership can't be transferred.
Like it says in the rules.
I also said that the first time RF-1 was recaptured it was given back to Zeon because it was still intact. The second time it was given to Draco because it became a Ruin and wasn't really worth anything anymore.

(This makes no sense since this used to be on zeon side board but is no more, also removed sensitive zeon plans from my post)

Seriously Ket, the ban was a crock of shit, and simply you trying to posture because you were butthurt you misunderstood what I said, and that I took the effort to dig through logs after you basically called me a liar to reprove myself.
You clarified what happened with RF-1, but since Malta was both an entirely separate base, and the only enemy base that we have captured, I felt it was pretty reasonable to take what you said at face value, especially since your explanation of RF-1 was a whole half our later.
I hate capriciousness, and frequently you are nothing but that, so fuck you good sir. All you had to say instead of trying to flex your muscle was that the same issue applied to Malta as it did with RF-1, that Zeon did not want it.

Anyway, since everybody is in an uproar about this, it is being moved and I am going to let you guys argue over whether or not I am being too harsh. The first ban on Andrew was for, essentially, doctoring a log to make it look like I said something that I didn't say. This was the complete log, cutting out name changes and such but zero text. If you look at the timestamps for this (which are on Dans logs, so they're the same time as the board posts), this entire conversation happened between Andrews original post, and his followup where he said "I checked with Ket, and he said that captured bases can be turned over to Zeon." I never said that. I in fact said that this specifically was not possible. I didn't want some widespread confusion in the Zeon boards over something that I didn't say, so I responded and explained the issue and my clarifications. Andrew then requested the log from Dan, and after being given the complete log, giving him a SECOND time to read it over, he decided to post the first three lines of it, to make it look like he was right anyway. So I banned him for that. Like I said in the chat, if somebody is going to produce doctored or incomplete logs to make it look like I said something that I didn't say, that is something I am going to ban for. Andrew however decided to make that flamepost on the thread after he was unbanned, so I banned him again. In my opinion he clearly wasn't punished enough for the first attempt, which I honestly feel I should be treating more serious than I am. It all arose from a simple misunderstanding, but the fact was he did tell his entire side that I said something was possible that I had in no uncertain terms said was not possible, and then produced an incomplete log to make it look like I had. In any case, I am bringing this up for arguments, in case y'all think I'm being TOO mean here. Maybe I am.
