Staring at Bryce, Arianna couldn't help but to wish that she had never joined the EFF to begin with. 'Your ambition proved to be what allowed you to meet your goals, Arianna, but was it worth the sacrifice? Was not being allowed to be with the one person outside of your family that you care about more than yourself? Even though he is on the opposing team...'
Considering everything Bryce had said did nothing to truly ease any of the issues she was faced with. So many conflicting thoughts and desires, but with no answer being right... "Bryce, this won't be easy for us. No matter what we decide, things won't work out right away." Rising to her feet slowly, she slides out of the booth and stands to face him. "It comes down to a waiting game, it seems, trying to find the opportune moment to leave. Don't you agree?" Sighing softly, she reached out to hug him tightly, using the moment to whisper to him softly. "How are we gonna keep in contact now? I will wait for you, I will do my best to update you at least to where I am... generally speaking, of course." She continued to hug Bryce, though turning to Alex and seeing that he was passed out in a drunken stupor at the bar, knew he was saved from any consequences of their physical contact. "Remember Sahra must not find out we've talked. 'I will get to the bottom of her lies, hopefully she had good intentions, even if poorly acted.' If you decide to send letters to my house, send them to Jae, I'll notify him.." Her voice trailed off as she took a deep breath, a part of her missed this greatly. The rest of her had been trained to forget what any of this was like and certainly not to miss it.
The whole idea was a game of chance with huge risks involved, but what bothered Arianna most was not feeling strong enough to be the one to take them. "I... mean... I could defect or go rogue, but Sahra... she'd be horribly disappointed. I couldn't go home, my father would ship me off to school. Though I guess, that'd be an easier trip for you, huh? Instead of what we're dealing with now..." Shaking her head, she managed a weak laugh while holding back tears.
