Shave and a Haircut

Gunfire rang out from the stairwell. Everyone in the precinct looked toward it. Some almost fell from their chairs leaning back, trying to see the event. Lt.Branson sat very comfortably in his office, looking over his power armor, the Jesta. Alan was being stupid again. At this rate Paula would be giving him a buzzcut. Jeremy looked out his window. Nope- people were still trying to figure out what was happening. Down in the Firing Range Alan was looking pale. Sure enough, while there was no-one who could beat him, Paula was. And she was damn accurate. She was shaving off parts of her previous bullet holes, just to ensure he knew what she was doing. Oh yes, Alan did that too, but she was far more consistent with how deep the new hole went. This, it appeared, would not end well.
