No problem dude, we all have surprise long ass days, except mine are everyday...

Need any help just send me a pm or email, I'll do what I can.

Action
Nvm, I see that the update hasn't even been posted yet. My bad... -_-

Action
I sent in an action to travel, and I see it was not done. Was there an error?

Battle in South Georgia
"My men have yet to let me down, and I've been on several ops with them, though we haven't been against a gundam yet, so it will be interesting to see how good we really are, but I don't see too many problems arising." As far as the colonel went, he agreed completely with the young man.

"Better at tactics? Not many. Leader of men? That is something would need to be addressed, at a later time of course." He smiled at the kid's jokes.

"Well if your team wants to cower behind my team's backs while we take down the gundams, don't blame me for dropping dimes on you about the colonel." He smiled at his own joke, albeit a cheep nip at his team's performance, it was completely harmless, at least to Seltak.

Walking into the COC, the colonel looked up from the map against the wall and greeted both lieutenants, ushering both to the map he was looking at.

"As I stated earlier, two gundams are moving towards our FOB (Forward Operations Base), at great speeds. Though we have the resources to stop both, we do not have the men to take them on in time. Black Company and the Phantom Pains are to intercept the gundams and their mass produced escorts. You will be dropped in by helicopter, and will be escorted by two squads of power armors for assistance." He turned back to the map and pointed to an open area surrounded by thick forest. "You will be dropped here, six clicks away from the gundams' predicted positions." The colonel turned towards the two officers and crossed his arms. "Any questions?"

Seltak shook his head. "I just hope our beam weapons are done being repaired. Though the recoilless rifles are nice, beam rifles would be a wiser choice to take on gundams."

Territories
So, each faction owns a few, but are there bases set up that we can attack? And what about setting up bases of our own later? Just curiosities that I had.

Battle in South Georgia
"Names Lt. Kyle Ryder and I'm the team leader for Phantom Pain. I've heard good things about you and your recon team." Seltak laughed a bit before putting his PDA down on the table and looking at the kid across the table. Looked just like the photo he had just been looking at.

"If you've heard good things about me, you must not have had access to everything." He shook his head and pushed his tray back, then turned towards the lieutenant fully. "I was about to read your report on today's operation, but from what I've heard, you do exceptionally well on the front lines."

Seltak was about to ask him about the rest of Phantom Pain when his radio began broadcasting.

"Lt. Amani, report to the COC at once." Seltak rogered up into his radio then stood, knowing the command would coon call for Ryder as well.

"Guess we better head back to command before the colonel pops a vein." He waited for the lieutenant to stand so they could walk to the command tent together. It would be good for appearances if their men saw them together.

Battle in South Georgia
Seltak had just turned off the water when he heard the rest of his platoon leave the locker rooms. Stepping out of the shower, he dried himself off quickly and began to change into his BDUs. Reaching into his locker, he pulled his sappy plate carrier and pulled it on. The newest models would stop a .50 cal round from penetrating, but would knock you on your ass and probably break a few ribs in the process. He'd been shot one too many times not to walk around without it. The carrier was different from a regular flak jacket in that it had only two plates, one for the front and one for the back. This gave the wearer more maneuverability than the bulkier version that held four plates.

Seltak grabbed his .45 pistol, it's holster, and strapped both to his right thigh. Seltak pulled the pistol out, checked the magazine, then holstered it again. He also placed two full magazines into the magazine holder on his carrier. After this was completed, he pulled his carbine from it's rack. He pulled the bolt back, locked it in place, checked for proper lubrication, then slapped the bolt back into place. Grabbing three magazines, he slapped one into the magazine well, then placed the other two into the magazine holder on his carrier.

After being properly fitted to his standards, he walked out of the barracks and towards the mess. He was hungry, and he needed to get food before going out again. The only reason he hadn't eaten before showering was he didn't eat much as it was, so if his meal was cut short, it wouldn't be that bad. Sitting down at the table, he noticed a few soldiers he'd met before on the battlefield, and one particular that he'd saved from an ambush. Shaking his head, he pulled out his PDA and started reading up the spec ops team he was to work with on this next operation. Hopefully the rest of his team would be able to work with others. If not, the gundams would be the least of their problems.

Battle in South Georgia
Littlefield made his way down the mountain, carefully watching for enemy emplacements that had snuck their way into the perimeter. He was good, but even he missed things, especially when it came to watching his platoon and making sure they didn't have anyone on their six that they didn't know about. Coming to the bottom of the smallish mountain, Littlefield sat down on the rocky surface with his rifle in his lap. He took a deep breath and waited for the rest of his team to show up.

Littlefield was starting to drift asleep when he heard the rustling of trees nearby, bringing Littlefield out of his minor slip up. Lifting his rifle, he got into a prone position and made sure his power levels were low enough not to be too detectable. Flipping off the safe, he waited for the source of the sound with a heavy beating heart. It was another thirty seconds and a few more moving trees before the rest of first platoon stepped through the trees, seeing Littlefield instantly. Smiling, the rookie stood up and slung his rifle around his frame.

"Bout time you guys showed up, I was about to leave you guys behind to find your own way home." The biggest of the Zakus walked up to Littlefield and put it's hand on his shoulder.

"Little brother, if you ever got the guts to leave us behind, I would break you in half." Laughing, Littlefield shook Pete's hand off and together the three made their way back to HQ.

***

It took only half an hour before they reached the USMP's base of operations, and after entering the gate, they made their way to the command operation's center to report back in. Seltak told his men to make their way back to the barracks to shower, change, and eat. After departing, Seltak entered the COC and removed his helmet. A lieutenant colonel looked at him from a map and stood up straight, walking over to the recon marine.

"Sir, Lieutenant Amani reports mission success, all enemies in sector seven eight neutralized." Seltak didn't salute since they were in a battlefield environment. Even though they were inside, saluting allowed the enemy to see who was an officer, and who wasn't.

"Good work Amani. We're expecting the Second Special Mechanical Operations Forces back any minute now, who you will assist in their next operation. Short and simple, we've spotted two gundam power armors moving our way with a few friends of their own. I'll get to the rest as soon as the SMOF gets back."

Seltak nodded and allowed the colonel to get back to his work. Walking to a map on the wall, he saw that the USMP forces were pushing the enemy back, albeit slowly. The gundams were shown in a blinking red, while the mass produced power armors were just red. Tanks and heavy armaments were a bright red that didn't blink, but the majority of the map was mass produced. Seltak saw that the area he had previously held was now being covered by regulars. Though he hated being used for such simple tasks like holding the lines against untrained rebels, he knew it's necessity.

Battle in South Georgia
Automatic fire came from the right as Seltak reloaded the recoilless rifle in his hands. Turning his head in that direction, he signaled Pete to keep his eyes open as he waited for word from Little Brother, who was off trying to find how far back the enemy lines went. The rest of his platoon were in a trench about ten meters apart, picking off mobile weapons that tried to come across their lines. So far not too many had tried, and that might have something to do with the fact the enemy didn't seem to know how many power armor's there were in this district. It wouldn't be much longer until they decided to attack full force.

"Big brother, I've reached the peek. Enemy forces are incoming, looks like about twenty, twenty-five power armors moving your way."

"You heard him First Platoon, get ready. Pick your targets and stay in your zone, we don't want to hit the same targets. Pete, pop smoke. As soon as they appear through the smoke, let them have it, semiautomatic only. We need to save our ammo."

Pete primed a grenade and threw it into the forest, the grenade releasing it's smoke after a second on the ground. The grenade was made to produce massive amounts of smoke in all directions. Hopefully, it would make the enemy think twice before rushing at their position, giving them the time they needed to survive this rush.

"They're entering the smoke. Ten seconds to contact."

The seconds passed slowly, but it was a rush when the first power armor pushed through the black smoke. Seltak pulled the trigger three times after sighting into the first target coming into his zone. The round impacted the armor's chest plates, knocking it onto it's ass, three large dents in the armor. Similar shots rang out from his left and right. Seltak quickly fired at another target that had just appeared. After this one went down, his buddies decided to try another tactic. Shots came from the smoke before the enemy exited, making first platoon cover for a moment, which was enough time for three or four to run through the smoke and take cover.

Seltak raised his head over the sand berm and fired a shot into the face of the soldier that dared look from behind a tree. More soldiers appeared through the smoke, and as they did, the smoke started to dissipate, allowing the others to get a good look at the recon marines. Shots rang out from behind the platoon, and as Seltak glanced back for a moment, he knew it was Littlefield providing fire from his hidden position. A grenade went off, and a group of power armors fell. After a few more moment, they had finished off the wave. Checking his ammo, Seltak requested a status report from each member.

An explosion from the edge of the forest caught Seltak's attention. There was a pause, then Littlefiled came over the radio.

"Someone just took out a tank that was patrolling the forest, one of ours..."

"First Platoon, fall back and rendezvous with the rest of the battalion. HQ out."

Seltak gritted his teeth and ordered his men to fall back, each man falling back one after another, stopping and going to make sure they wouldn't get shot in the back.

Reservations and Joins
If I were to choose the GINN MP, would I be able to choose different variants of it, or would it be one for the whole team? Same would apply to Zaku, DOM, and the like.

Since it seems RE has indeed finally fallen from it's place, I will write for you when i can. I believe it will be interesting to see what kinds of situations I can write about.
