Distress Signal
As the Quin Mantha advanced, its deflection system hard at work sending the stray beam weapons back, the other sides tried to attempt to fall back to the paths they had come from. As the Barcalow Knights lay down their covering fire, the Rasvehts went back down the hall first, their rifles at the ready. Standing shoulder to shoulder, all six fired their beam rifles down the hall repeatedly, and in mere moments Blitz was forced to decloak and protect itself with its shield. "Damnit!" Simon yells out as the second lancer was fired out, piercing Elec' head as the unit collapsed, deactivating itself.

Enraged Ann launched herself forward as Simon fired out the anchor at her. Sidestepping quickly, the Rasvehts all grabbed the wire of the anchor and pulled hard, throwing the Blitz off and with 5 power armors pulling, sending the stealth specialist flying back into the room. With the way clear, the generic Gundams of the Knights fell back first, as the Calamity stayed behind laying down cover fire with the Reborns Gundam. The Reborns Gundam was primarily focused with his GN Fangs combating the Quin Mantha's funnels. While they were numerically superior, the more experienced Knight was faring much better as Apollo focused on picking off each funnel faster, losing only one so far in the process from interference against the Bertigo's own Bits.

Both Law Enforcement and USMP were acting as well, letting the injured go first back the path. As the officers and the Dark Falcons prepared for their own evacuation, red lights flashed throughout the interior of the room, as blast doors came down, cutting off the retreating teams and splitting them in half. Down the hall, Captain Altecha Chan's team scrambled down to reach them, unable to reach the Dark Falcons with the radio interference. Unable to proceed further, as the injured soldiers fell back past them, they checked their charges to figure out what to do quickly.

Inside the large room, everyone stopped firing at one another and recalled their weapons. Wild moved quickly to the door behind him and used his beam zanber, creating only a small cut in the thick steel. "Well great, what's going on now?!" Wild yells out, as everyone's attention was drawn to the middle of the room. From the center, several containers arose from the floor. As they rose up, they each were large enough to fit a human inside, and all of them were written with something different.

In front of Wild and Kristal, a set of 3 containers faced them, marked X-1, X-2 and X-3. Opening up, the pair stared wide-eyed at the sight, as Kristal looked back and forth, trying to comprehend what she was seeing. "What the hell?! That's your armor over there!" Kristal looks on, shocked and taking a step back from the sight. Facing Law Enforcement, two containers opened up, marked Victory and Bertigo. "Seems we meet again, officer," the Bertigo's pilot states, stepping forward.

USMP was treated with a similar sight, as the green sniper Gundam known as Dynames appeared, along with a second Blitz Gundam. "You have got to be kidding..." Simon utters, recovering from the throw as he stood up near the USMP force that was left, with only a GM Squad with the Dark Falcons.

The Barcalow Knights were treated to a final sight, as Epyon stepped out from the container, and without wasting any time dashed forward right at the Calamity, stabbing him straight in the face with the beam sword, killing the mercenary inside. "Epyon tells me....no artillery allowed," a male voice states before backing off.

"Attention Power Armors...you have seen too much of the secrets in Tesla Industries. It is with that you must die to keep our trade secrets safe. Goodbye," a female voice said, before cutting off everything, as all eight new arrivals' eyes flashed.

Outside, a lone power armor entered the facility from the Barcalow Knights' staging area, as the Nemesis stepped inside.

Summary: Everyone who has already entered the facility is currently trapped inside the room with minimal support against the eight power armors. Altecha Chan has reached their position and is trying to break through to assist.

Revenge
“Did I mention how risky I think this plan is?” Amber asked over the comm, glancing nervously around. The team had returned to the same area where they had been ambushed, armed with freshly repaired power armors and a sense of wariness. Last time, they had been taken by a surprise and it was not an experience that she cared to repeat.

“Yes!” The three others chorused the words less rebuke and more humble teasing. Though he chose not to show it, Hiromi could feel his heart beating faster at times when he was exposed from cover, knowing what could happen if their formation became sloppy. Especially after last time.

“The rouge doesn’t seem to be operating with any support, and the attack wasn't against an installation.” JP reminded her, speaking quickly to take another look back at the sky. “It seems like he was going after targets of opportunity. He doesn’t really seem to be a planner. The bastard’s likely operates out of a certain radius of operations. Coming back here seems to be our best bet.”

“Still gives me the heebie-fucking-jeebies” Muttered Ian. “You’re going to owe us some drinks ki-Incoming heat Signature, 8 o’clock!” Ian quickly cut himself off, sliding back behind a building for cover with Hiromi while JP and Amber dove behind a nearby car.

Their caution was rewarded moments later as the power armor made a strafing run with its beam cannon which, while missing all of them, sprayed a great deal of asphalt into the air as it struck the road.

“Now!” Hiromi roared as the team broke from cover, massing their fire to take advantage of the loss of maneuverability caused by going into fighter mode. One of the mega beam rifle blasts managed to clip one of the wings, the damage resulting in the power armor entering a spin.
The team could hear a scraping noise as the power armor skittered across the rooftops, coming to a halt with a sickening thud. For a few moments, there was absolute silence. “Did we get him?” Amber called out, tentatively stepping forward, slightly lowering her rifle.

“Yes.” JP replied, stepping out from behind the car keeping his rifle raised. “I think the real ques-“ JP suddenly stopped as a golden beam erupted from one of the building windows, catching him directly in the chest.

“Jean-Patrick!” Amber shouted as she watched her squad mate hit the ground, hesitation only momentary before she raised her own rifle and fired at the unknown Gundam. However, that momentary distraction had been just enough, the rouge darting back inside the building. Hiromi and Ian joined in, shattering all the glass in the windows with repeated shots from their rifles.

“We need to assume that he’s not down. Amber, how’s Jean-Patrick?” Amber quickly kneeled down next to her squad mate, who gave her a weak smile.

“I’m not going anywhere for a while mon cheri, but make no mistake, I’m not out for the count yet.” JP coughed. “The armor held, but I think I have a broken some ribs. Get me back behind the car.”
Amber nodded in agreement. Leaving him so unprotected while in the middle of the firefight would not end well. “Cover me!” She called out over the comm, lowering her rifle as she began to drag JP.

Ian and Hiromi spread out, not wanting to get caught up in a beam blast at the same time, keeping their guns trained at the windows. A shadow would be all the warning that they would get the unknown Gundam leaping from the top of one building to the next before hitting Hiromi with a kick that knocked him through a glass door. Ian immediately fired, catching the fast moving Gundam in the left shoulder, the operator letting out a howl of agony that could be heard through his helmet. He quickly transformed again, ramming Ian. The damage to the wings prevented the Rouge from getting far, but it was enough to knock Ian off his feet.

As he rose into the sky Ian grinned, pulling out his beam saber and lifting it to swing down onto his foe. “Got you now bast-“ The grin quickly slid from Ian’s face as he felt something pointing against his chest plate. The beam cannon went off at point blank range, the otherwise pristine armor melting away as the force of the blast sent him skittering across rooftops.

Hiromi looked up, trying to reorient himself after being knocked so far. He had begun to get to his feet when a familiar blast struck again, peeling his armor away. Hiromi rolled over as the rouge armor responded again, kicking him in the side, the depleted armor causing him to double over in pain. “I remember you.” A voice came out through the speaker. “Yer the one who destroyed my cannon last time. You idjits. Just. Don’t. LEARN!” The rouge kicked again, his voice rising to a fever pitch, letting out a howl of rage.

Or was it agony? As Hiromi watched, a beam suddenly thrust through the chest of the rouge from behind, a furious Amber leaning in. “Oh, I think we’ve picked up a thing or two. Forget about me?” Amber completed the attack, slicing through the man’s heart. The rouge armor faltered from a moment as Amber’s attack caused a chain reaction, the armor erupting into flames.

Hiromi watched for a moment, uncurling as he looked up at his savior. “Good one. Not that I’m complaining, but next time, if you have a shot like that, try to take him alive.”

Behind her helmet Amber rolled her eyes. “Everyone’s a critic.” She offered her hand to her squad mate, who took it.

“Yes I am.” Hiromi replied, a hint of bemusement. “Thanks.” He added after a pause. “Sound off everyone."

“I’m fine. Just a little annoyed at missing out all the action.” JP’s voice came through clear on the comm. “I’ve already called for paramedics.”

“Fthhhhat little bastad.” Ian slurred, clearly disoriented. “Sent me for a loop.” He dropped off a moment after that.

“Ian…Ian!” Hiromi called over the comm, worried for his friend. “JP, prioritize Ian!”

Hiromi stepped out onto the street, eyeing the destruction. “It never ends, does it?”

Result: Hiromi Copress and Squad Win!
Hiromi and Squad: +7XP and +3% synch rate, 3 days repairing, 2 days injured.

Distress Signal
Storming through the facility, the Barcalow Knights small team suddenly got bigger with the Rasveht's deployment of the Mobile Bits. As Apollo took charge, he took a brief note of what the team consisted of aside from himself and the Rasveht. Most of them were nothing more than generic Gundams, looking more like the older Gundam that appeared 50 years ago than current contemporaries. The only exception was the one artillery power armor, painted in darker colors with much larger cannons on its shoulder. "Rasveht team you have point. And...Calamity, cover the rear. Move!" Apollo orders as the other Knights responded as they quickly advanced through the area, following the corridors.

As they advanced through, Ann couldn't help but feel that the latter theory was more and more becoming true. "It's odd, it's too clean, too neat for a distress beacon. If Tesla needed help, there should be scorch marks, a sign of battle, something," Ann comments, as they continued their pace moving towards the heart of the facility, descending downwards.

Outside, more Barcalow Knights started appearing with their tanks, with a second Line Breaker arriving, this time much more distinct from the rest as it was painted in a pure blood red color.

USMP Front

Inside the facility, the Dark Falcons took to the lead of the USMP teams that entered. More of their forces stayed outside with the Ranger presence that was there. The Military and Rangers certainly didn't agree with one another for sure, but both sides had responded to an all-frequency distress signal, so for the time being the two sides had agreed to a temporary cease fire. Whether or not that would keep up inside was up for debate however.

Following through, the Dark Falcons continued their trek as the lead team of the military. With only three of the four together, Dakota continued retrieving data as he kept radio contact with the rest. "Clint, something interesting came up. I just looked up the records of the Mobile Suits being produced here and something is odd," Dakota reports, as the others temporarily stop.

"What is it Dakota?" Leola asks, asks Dakota streams the data over to her, however slowly it was coming in. Quickly sending it from her armor over to Clint and Jimmy, the data poured in across their network as they analyzed the info obtained.

"Wait, this isn't right...Gundams are just repeating themselves over here. Is this some kind of data error?" Clint asks to Dakota as he checks over a few sections.

"No sir, I did several integrity checks, but there's no corruption."

"Dakota, meet up with us now, inform Command we're getting in further, we're not alone at all!" Clint orders before closing the comm channel. Moving with a sense of urgency, the three continued further in, marking the way for Dakota to quickly catch up to them.

Law Enforcement...

Losing track of the Rogue that had briefly appeared, and the sudden blip of a Ranger and disappearance, Lucas continued further on. "Grant, Hiromi? Is your equipment working properly? I just had a Ranger appear and disappear," Lucas questions on the comm channels, advancing through deeper in the facility.

"We had it appear too. Did you fire on a Ranger down there?" Grant responds back, as Hiromi's team investigated through the terminals of Tesla Industries.

"No, it was clearly a Rogue."

As the two conversed, Hiromi's squad downloaded data after data, trying to crack what they could. "There's a lot of encrypted data here boss," JP comments, banging the side of his helmet to try and make it go faster. "Yeah, a bit m- wait, something came through," Amber responds, sending out what she found to the others in the squad.

What came up in their HUDs was garbled video footage, but what could make sense showed combats against several armors throughout the country. Amongst the footage showed both Grant and Lucas in their earlier investigation of the Washington D.C. facility, another deserted one somewhere else, and highway combat against military forces. What caught their attention though was the second facility and the highway combat, both showing the same power armor fighting in two different locales. What didn't match though was the date, they were too close.

"What the hell? Grant, Lucas, we just cracked some video footage. We got the same power armor, not flight capable, in two different locations. The problem is the timing, it doesn't match up at all," Hiromi comments to the two, as Grant starts moving to where Lucas was.

"Hiromi, get your squad and head out with us. Lucas, wait for us. Don't act alone," Grant orders, as the MP Zeta squad and the Bertigo moved to meet up with Lucas.

As Hiromi's team packed up their equipment and advanced following the Bertigo, Grant couldn't shake the funny feeling that a trap was in the works for them and whoever else had responded.

Simon Cobb...

His stealth actions certainly paid off. Despite not being the first to enter the facility, he was much further in compared to everyone else. Silently thanking his Mirage Colloid, he noted the battery life of his armor he had left. The Mirage Colloid equipped as part of his armor certainly paid a heavy price, draining away large chunks of his battery supply.

Having already locked out one door, Simon continued his advance deeper into the facility. Descending downwards, he didn't notice nor really care to check what kind of interference he could get. He was running solo, why would he care. As he made it through a final hallway, he emerged to see an underground testing facility. Noting several doors and passageways, he could hear some noises as he took up a position in the shadows. Not wanting to waste any of his battery unless needed, Simon took his position, biding his time and waiting to see who was coming.

Wild and Kristal Hawkins...

Taken by surprise that the Gundam PA in front of her wasn't a Ranger but a Rogue, she readied her weapon in surprise and fear, however the person in front of her remained calm and affirmed his status as an ex-Ranger. "Kristal, it's my first combat sortie," she states, calling back the funnels to the storage.

"Right well then. You're not out to shoot me since you're not a Knight, so might be good if we stick together. I'll keep you covered as well," Wild says, motioning for her to follow him. Nodding her head, Kristal took position behind him as Wild moved on ahead.

As they advanced through the facility, Kristal looked on at the more experienced armor in front of her as he moved and checked corners. Wild held in both hands the zanbuster and the Murasama Blaster, as they continued their movements until reaching a door that was shot out. "Well, this is going to slow us down..." Wild mutters, before detaching the buster gun and igniting the zanbuster, driving it into one of the hinges.

"Gonna need some help on this one Kristal," Wild says, as she follows suit eagerly. With sabers in hand, and the funnels launching out, Kristal made the task much easier as she cut down the time needed to open the door.

"...What made you an ex-Ranger?" Kristal asks, as Wild focused on the task at hand cutting out the secure hinges and locks. "We ended up on a disagreement...rather not continue any further," Wild says, occasionally checking over his shoulder. Finally knocking the door down, the pair descended further downwards.

"Rangers, we're going further into the facility...rangers?" Kristal states over the comm, only to get static.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm getting interference...."

"That means-" Wild starts, before hearing noises further up ahead, consisting of inaudible yelling. Both break off into a sprint and reaching the hallway, they entered the underground facility, and were met with a surprise.

Meeting Point...

Shortly after Simon Cobb arrived, he witnessed the Knights, USMP, and Law Enforcement all arrive on the scene. With the Knights were Ann Gillars's squad of Rasvehts, Apollo Langley with the Reborns Gundam, and the squad of Gundams that came with them on the Line Breaker, pointing their rifles at the Law Enforcement group. The Calamity stood with its launchers pointed at the officers. With the Law Enforcement stood Hiromi's team of MP Zetas, Grant in his Bertigo armor, Lucas Klein in the Victory Gundam HEXA, and two squads of Nemo power armors officers they ran into along the way. Their rifles were pointed right back at the Barcalow Knights, the two groups' disdain for one another becoming quite apparent.

In the USMP group, the Dark Falcons had their weapons pointed at both sides, along with 3 squads of GM power armors, trying to keep them from shooting one another. With Wild and Kristal's arrival, the Barcalow Knights and USMP split their attention further on the newcomers, some pointing at the newcomers and others pointing at the current arrivals. As Wild and Kristal activated their weapons, pointing at the two groups, Law Enforcement's own attention was further split as they pointed their sets of weapons at USMP and the pair as well, as everyone yelled to stand down.

Hiding with his Mirage Colloid active was Simon, reading the battery level as the timer for how much time left on the supply counted down. Simon silently observed the Mexican Standoff, watching to see who would make the first move or if anyone else was coming.

Distress Signal
Guess the old codes still work...they really need to work on updating them. Seeing the Quin Mantha approach, his sensors indicated to be an actual Ranger. "Sorry for the confusion," Wild states to Kristal as he reverts the code back to his Rogue status. "I'm an ex-Ranger, used to work with them 'til a year ago. The name's Wild," continuing as he stands up, clipping the zanbuster to his side.

"Think I ran into Law Enforcement just now, don't know how they lost me though. Anyway, what's your name?" Wild asks, looking over the armor she wore as several mobile bits floated around her. Remembering one last look, the eyepatch sensor retracted back into its socket.

GM OOC: I will be locking the thread in 2 hours time (6 PM EST) to prepare for the next summary and post to move things along. Also I'll be posting this later on in the main site but I will say it here as well, the RP event is going to go further into the week. This will not be preventing any actions in regards to the rpg actions. Hope you all enjoy!

Distress Signal
Keeping his back turned and the cloak around his body, it kept Wild's arms out of view of the Law Enforcement officers. Moving his hands to combine the Zanbuster, Wild turned his head to look back at the one who spoke. "Sorry, but I'll take my chances with the Knights and Military," Wild states, refusing outright the offer to deactivate his armor.

Turning around, the targeting sensor deployed over his right eye as he fired above their heads to cause some debris to fall above their heads. Using the quick opportunity to take cover at a nearby desk, Wild groaned at his next course of action. Ripping off the beam shield emitter on the left arm, Wild quickly searched through the IFF codes, hoping he still had the old Ranger codes. "I'm an ex-Ranger damnit!" Wild yells out as he goes through the IFF codes and transmits the last code he had from two years ago. If this didn't work, he was going to fight the hard way back.

Unless otherwise noted, its your first choice.

Distress Signal
As Law Enforcement quickly arrived, Lucas Klein groaned at the thorough checking he received as Grant Krauser arrived. Flashing his badge, he activated his armor and strolled by his compatriot. "Mind a little help here?!" Lucas yells out to Grant, who shined bright in his white armored Bertigo.

"Nope, next time remember to show your identification first kid," Grant yells back, as Lucas was finally relieved, grumbling to himself as they approached the facility. As they walked up to the building, a pickup truck arrived at the facility, carrying with them 4 orange and white armored officers. Thanking the old timer, Hiromi's squad approached the other two Gundam PA officers.

The action around them began to intensify as Law Enforcement prepped the charges, and as the two Gundams and Hiromi's team did a final check, the doors were breached.

Elsewhere...

The Rangers were surprised at how quickly Law Enforcement had responded, as if they knew something their group did not. Scrambling with their Power Armors and SUVs to the facility, they took a different approach at one of the smaller side buildings. Of the few to respond, Jack Verse in the Akatsuki ran along the road. A few vehicles drove by as well as a few other Rangers joining in the trek. The few that were low in numbers picked up the Rangers traveling on the side of the road, Jack included.

As the Rangers saw the presence of Law Enforcement, they took it upon themselves to move to the side to gain entry at a different point. Scrambling to respond, they hastily set up as they looked up in the sky to see USMP Ospreys and Night Ravens arriving at the location, taking up another point. "Oh....shit..." was all Jack could say.

"We need to hurry up and breach the facility!" someone yelled out as they ran to the smaller building.

With the USMP...

Clint was able to get past most of the checkpoints for Law Enforcement, but upon the final one, their cover was finally broken. The officer was not amused, but with that the USMP forces began to arrive, what little that could be spared. The unamused officer directed them to where USMP was gathering. As they drove around, Clint noticed the Rangers' staging area as they scrambled to the facility, deciding on what to do.

With the USMP themselves, the few squads that made it prepared their charges to breach.

Finally...

The ones with the least presence, the Barcalow Knights were quickly moving in, however they lacked most of their vehicles to be able to go through Ranger territory. The exception was a lone Line Breaker that could be spared. As Apollo Langely approached, the Line Breaker team recognized him as one of theirs and picked him up to get to the final point. Using their own tank as a battering ram, the few inside rammed through one of the building's walls and opened up its door inside, as the few inside poured out, activating their armors.

Rogues...

Simon Cobb found a way to sneak in to the center facility before the others breached violently in. Blitz was designed for stealth in mind, and this was no exception. Keeping the Colloid off, Simon traveled through the facility, looking at notes that made no sense strewn across the floor as he approached a large opening inside the facility, looking down on one of the floors as he noticed movement below.

Wild looked around at the mess of Tesla Industries. He had a bit more time to search before the chaos approached outside. Still, the items he was finding yielded nothing. Heading closer to the main part of the facility, Wild moved to the first floor, looking around to see if there was anything of interest. As he stood there, an explosion ripped through one of the nearby doors as Law Enforcement poured in. "Freeze!"

"Oh damnit!"

(Everyone is about ready to breach or has breached. It's up to you guys from here what to do, if you're going to move inside or prepare to fight outside.)

Distress Signal
Name: Wild
MPA: Crossbone Gundam X-3
Faction: Rogues

Heading towards the main building where Law Enforcement's staging area was, Wild approached as he moved around them without getting their attention. It took a good ten minutes before finally reaching the side of the building, away from their line of sight. Firing the scissor anchor from his waist armor up to a window ledge, Wild slowly climbed up. "Damn...really wish....Angel was here...This is her specialty...not...mine!" muttering to himself as he scaled it.

"Angel, I won't be back as soon as I thought. There's something I need to check out."

"What? You found something dangerous didn't you?"

"Not sure, probably though. I'll contact you when I'm on my way back, or I'll give you a meet-up point outside of the Mideast Territory."

Present

Short and to the point, but he had anticipated trouble. The fact Law Enforcement responded so quickly to the distress signal worried Wild. Given this was Ranger territory, they would have gotten here faster. Either Rangers were busy elsewhere, or Law Enforcement found something out as well. "Not enough time to dwell on the matter anyway, here's hoping I find out who it was that attacked me." And with that, Wild entered into the window, adjusting his cloak but keeping the weapons to his side for now.

Distress Signal
Across the country, distress signals went out to all the various groups, asking for assistance in a remote large group of facilities in the territory known as the Great Plains. While the messages were altered and stylized for each faction, they all held the same coordinates. Of those first to respond were individuals already conducting investigations in its direction. While most of the Rogues, Barcalow Knights, USMP and Rangers received the signal and prepared to head out, Law Enforcement officers were already heading in that direction. From the southwest the singular rogue Wild was also heading there, both teams tipped off from recent investigations into warehouses found to be controlled by Tesla Industries.

The compound itself was rather enormous, composed of several buildings with an olive-drab color. On each building the logo of Tesla Industries appeared. The parking lot for the entire area was abnormally empty as the first officers arrived in the main lot. Reports came in that others we're arriving within the hour from other directions. As Law Enforcement moved to secure their area, Wild arrived in a different area near the Law Enforcement staging area. Hiding his 'cycle, Wild moved on in to the facility.

(OOC: Ok everyone, it begins now. All I ask is that before you start, make sure to do this at the start of your post: Name, Power Armor. Rangers, Rogues, BK, and USMP should be arriving in their posts. Otherwise, have fun!)

Still quiet in Washington....
Washington DC was the place to be if you wanted to do some city patrolling to quell any idiots who would want to rob a store. Clint Reisz and his faithful squadron of the USMP were going to do a foot patrol of Washington DC. They had meet in a conference room before hand and divided the city into 4 sectors. Clint Reisz and his squadron of Slaughter Daggers, had the IWSP configuration for their Power Armors equipped and they headed out on foot.

Dakota Kinsland, the squads sniper, took section 4 of the city. He usually preferred to have the Lightning configuration but for this patrol he was wearing the IWSP. He walks around his section of the city keeping an eye out for trouble. His sector of the city was uneventful, the only law breaking thing he stopped someone from doing was a jay-walker. “This is Dakota Kinsland, all is quiet in sector 4”

Jimmy Caruso, the squads heavy weapons expert, was doing his rounds in section 3. He preferred to have the Launcher configuration for his Power Armor, but the IWSP had some nice cannons on it so he didn't mind it too much. As he was making his rounds, he would stop once he saw his reflections of the IWSP cannons in the windows and would admire them. This however had deterred anybody from trying anything in his sector. “Jimmy Caruso here, sector 3 all quiet.”

Leola Cuffie, the squads close combat expert and second in command, had the luxury of section 2. He usually preferred the Sword configuration for his Power Armor, but he did like the sword that came with the IWSP. As he was making his rounds in sector 2, he was walking around with the sword in hand. He saved a few kittens by slicing the branches off of trees but that was just about it as far as excitement went. “Leola Cuffie reporting in, saved some kittens but other than that its all quiet out here.”

Clint Reisz, the squads leader, had the duty of section 1 of the city. He prefers using the IWSP or just the basic layout of his Power Armor, for mobility purposes. As he was also making his rounds he received the reports from his squad members. The city was quiet, a bit too quiet but it was to be expected as other squads were keeping up their own patrolling methods. “OK lets go home team. Nothing else is happening around here.” He sounded a bit disappointed but it couldn't be helped. For now Washington DC is as secure as it gets.... for now.

Desert Duel
In the desert Akira was waiting for his opponent, Saladin, for another rematch. Akira had mode some modifications to his Power Armor to make it lighter and faster. Akira had removed some of the other weapon systems on his Power Armor, only leaving the two swords. Saladin was a man of great respect, even as Akira's mentor/teacher. He even went so far as to lend Akira the use of his armory to fix and modify his Power Armor.

As Akira was thinking back on this, Saladin popped up from a sand dune and stood in front of Akira, their power armors powered up. The wind blew the sand in front of them as they were staring each other down. There was reports of a sand storm that was about to roll on in. They needed to finish this duel quickly and then find shelter from the oncoming storm, sand is a bitch to get out of a power armor.

Akira charged towards Saladin first with one of his swords drawn. Saladin moved to the side and attacked Akira. Thanks to the removal of some of the weapons from his power armor, Akira was faster and more mobile but he would be vulnerable to any kind of attack. The fight went on for a few hours as both combatants traded block and parrys. Saladin then scored a series of punches to Akira's sides and mid section. As the storm drew closer in, Saladin dragged Akira to a shelter to wait out the storm.

“You did fairly well Akira, but there is nothing more that I can teach you. When you come back my ways again, then I’ll challenge you to a rematch to test how skilled you have become”

Washington DC Patrol
In the police center of Washington DC, two officers gather into the same squad car. Grant Kauser and Lucas Klein both enter the patrol car and dive off. Their job was to search for any evidence of gundam clones. With very little intel to go on they both drive off to gather more intel on their own. As far as DC goes, the streets were quiet as no crime were being reported at the moment. This oddity let the two focus on their investigation.

They both arrived at the last known report of the gundam clone sighting, as they get out of the vehicle they take a quick look around before setting foot outside of the vehicle. As their feet touch the ground, they get out their gear and begin searching for anything that would be useful in determining the location of the Gundam clones. After a few hours of searching the two found armor shards on the ground. They continue searching for more shards but they instead find half warn away foot steps heading out west.

Desert Blues
Riding on his Missile 'Cycle in The Desert, Wild looked on ahead as he kept an eye out for his destination. There had been a sudden increase in Rogue activity in the area, but there was something off about it. According to the locals in the area, they were very coordinated. Slowing down the vehicle, he could see up ahead an abandoned building. Stopping in front of it, Wild engaged his armor, activating the cloak in the process. Opening the door, Wild stepped in and looked on, slowly proceeding through.

Elsewhere in the facility, a voice spoke up. "Seems we have a guest...make sure he doesn't escape." Behind the hidden figure a set of eyes flashed in response.

Walking along, Wild slowly moved forward, the Muramasa Blaster drawn in his right hand. It's quiet...at least Angel's nowhere nearby. Still, something's not right... Approaching a room, Wild drew his buster gun in the left hand. Opening the door, Wild lowered his weapons to see a terminal up ahead. Attaching the buster gun to his hip, Wild quickly moved up ahead and powered it up. Typing at the console, the logo of Tesla Industries appeared before various items appeared on the screen. Hmmm....Tesla huh? Wonder what they're hiding.

Accessing into the screen one of the files, it started to appear some logs indicating it was a satellite facility. There wasn't much in what he was initially discovering, as he heard the door creek behind him. Ignoring it at the moment, Wild started looking up quickly where the main facility was. Behind him, a low hum of a saber was heard, as it was ignited and appeared by his head. "Ok...turn it off," the voice said.

Complying, Wild shut it off and logged out of the system, noting the territory it was in. Turning around, a power armor in red and black with wings stood before him. In its right arm a large beam saber was ignited, and in the other a small shield with a whip. "So, how much did you see?"

"Enough."

"Then that'll be enough for you not to escape," the Gundam stated, as Wild quickly moved and ignited the blaster and deflected the sword. In a quick motion Wild slashed the terminal before attempting to escape. However the Gundam moved even quicker and lashed out with its heat rod, wrapping around Wild's leg and pulling him off balance. Throwing him on his stomach, Wild suddenly reacted just as quickly as he grabbed the beam zanber with his free hand and cut the rod off.

Scrambling, Wild throws his cloak in front of the Gundam. As he tried to tear it off, Wild retraced his steps to the entrance. As he approached, the wall ahead collapsed to show the Gundam in front of him with its saber getting stronger. With no other option, Wild re-ignited both weapons. Both opponents lunged forward as their larger weapons clashed. As they locked, the zanber swung only to be caught by the shield. Instead of cleaving it like he was used to, it left a sharp deep cut into it. Backing off quickly, the Gundam looked at it closely. "No one's ever cut my shield in one swing this deep. You have a strong weapon."

"I'm just getting started!"

Switching to ranged weapons, Wild fired the Blaster and made the zanbuster. They did very little to his armor as the Gundam came forward. Quickly formulating a plan, Wild ducked down and rolled past the Gundam, before launching the scissor anchors above it's head. Pulling on the chains hard, the ceiling tore and caved in as debries fell on the red Gundam. Retracting them quickly, Wild escaped out the building and climbed aboard his 'cycle, before taking off away from him. "Son...of a bitch...at least I got something..." Wild says, breathing hard as he drove off.

*************

Emerging from the rubble, the Gundam radioed to another person. "The target escaped...unknown what info he got."

"Ok, scrap this location, we're going back to the main facility."

Finding Gundams in Washington
Everyone was rather disgruntled at Clint's orders to use the IWSP for everyone. With the exception of Clint, none of them preferred the multi-role Striker Pack, instead preferring their own dedicated roles in combat. The Dark Falcons took to the streets with their rifles drawn.

"There's not enough heavy firepower on this set!" Jimmy yells out in frustration, looking at the cannons on his shoulders and the shield.

"Yeah? I can't get an accurate lock, it's messing with my accuracy rating!" Dakota complains in response, looking over his rifle.

"These swords aren't big enough," Leola muttered, staring at the two swords on her hips.

"You get two swords, not one. What do you care?" Jimmy states, as they continued arguing as they walked.

In the end they didn't find anyone, with a quiet day in Washington for once.

Prelude
"Good to meet you," Wild says, shaking the outstretched arm. "I won't be staying long around here. I have to go back to the Mideast Territory. Some trouble's brewing up," Wild continues, leaning against the wall. "Don't know what though. Anyway, you should get some rest. Prosthetic limbs I hear are a real pain to get attached if everything isn't done accordingly. I'll stop by before by go, see if you're conscious after the op."

With that, Wild patted Akira on the shoulder and walked off, silently thinking to himself. Back home...I wonder how she's doing...wonder if she forgot about me or what. Doesn't matter, at this point I'm just a ghost.

Rematch
The sun shone brightly above, with the time being around an hour past noon. Within the makeshift arena, Akira and Saladin stood, their armors already activated. "Show me what you've learned!" Saladin yells out, as he ran forward with the Sandrock. Inside the Masurao, Akira drew his beam sabers, the fine tuning he had done from before as the sabers pulsed with more energy than before. Charging forward as well, the two briefly clashed with their melee weapons before backing off quickly. Walking around one another in a circle for a brief moment, a single saber and heat shotel were swung, locking the pair.

"I see...you're increasing more power by directly linking it to your power source..." Saladin comments, feeling the struggle and weight with his own shotel as a gauge against the Masurao's own GN beam saber. Breaking the lock quickly before both combatants swung again, this time using both heat shotels in a scisscor form, as Akira held them off with his own sabers.

Deadlocked in their struggle, Saladin acted first. "However, by changing your setup, you exposed a critical flaw," Saladin states as he looked straight at the cable at the right and fired his vulcans mounted in the head, cutting through the cable that fed it to the GN Drive. With the sudden loss in power, nothing could stop the shotel from slamming into the head of the Masurao and tossing Akira harshly to the side in one swing.

"Your machine was fine before, there was no need to increase such output at the cost of integrity. You need to focus more on your own power and technique, not your machine. As you improve yourself, you will see what truly can be improved with your own armor," Saladin states, as Akira stood up with a gash to the side of his helmet where the shotel struck. "However, you did do well to damage my blades," Saladin states, as he broke one shotel on his knee where the Masurao's sabers had clashed, indicating the loss in structural integrity Akira had done.

Swamp Recon
Along the major highways of the Louisiana Divide, USMP forces traveled along a major route not too far away from New Orleans. A major city lost to the USMP for the past 50 years, it has never remained in USMP control for any long period of time. This time around, Rangers controlled the city. Up ahead, Marcus in his Victory 2 Gundam armor observed the troops, remaining hidden from sight. Checking over the data and information streaming in, Marcus felt he gathered sufficient data before pulling away for now.

Traffic in Boston
In Boston, a traffic jam once again occurred on one of their highways. This time though, a singular Gundam power armor stood out in broad daylight, not caring that he was holding up the civilians trying to move across the city. Elsewhere, Haimura in her Shining Gundam had just finished fighting off several men with ease, bored with the prospect of these fights. Stretching out, she spotted a singular floating device pointing right at her, before a small red beam lanced out. Dodging it quickly, she moved to grab it with her Shining Finger however it dodged out of the way. "I wonder who that belongs to, might be fun," Haimura says to herself as more GN Fangs start to appear.

Diving to the side, she fired her vulcans at the small devices, striking one and downing it before others appeared. Forced to move into the open road, a large red wave of energy appeared as she took a glance, damaging some of her armor. Looking at where the source of the attack was, she smiled at the form of another Gundam standing there, as Reborns fired again with its GN Buster Gun. Focusing on avoiding the larger gun, her armor was chipped away from the GN Fangs own red beams, however she was getting much closer into melee range. Flipping his buster gun back, his own GN claws activated as the Shining Finger went active again. As they met in the middle, the two attacks hit one another, with all visual appearances showing the Shining Gundam winning that brief clash. As the armor around the hand of the Reborns Gundam was melting away. However Haimura clutched her own hand a surge of pain hit her, the Shining Finger deactivating as blood dripped down from her hand. With the GN Claws hitting their mark, Apollo's own hand was burned from the attack.

With that the fight was settled as the GN Fangs fired all around Shining Gundam, destroying more sections of the armor and forcing her to retreat back, away from the Knight.

Investigation Report
Underneath the collapsed rubble, the HEXA pushed its way out, using the beam shields on its arms to push and dislodge the rubble out of the way. As both stood up, 4 of the Bertigo's bits sparked as rocks and debris crushed them. As the two coughed and moved their arms to make sure nothing was hurt, outside reinforcements were coming. As police cruisers showed up to the scene, Tommy Oliver's team pulled in, as they rolled out of the cruiser and joined the line of soldiers. While odd to look at, the Gigan squad was still quite adept at using its equipment in these sort of engagements. "Ok men, we have at least two officers in there. I want all squads to move in and explore the warehouse. We don't know who we're dealing with, but we need to flush them out," the commanding officer says. As the police saluted, he pointed over to the Gigan team. "You're to hold outside, when they're flushed out, we need to hammer them. You'll be quick enough to move into position."

"Sir!" the four yell out as the Power Armors moved into position.

Inside, Lucas and Grant lept through the hole in the ceiling. "Can anyone here me?" Lucas says into his com-link, as static and fuzz came in. "Nothing, my equipment's damaged," Lucas reports, as a beam lanced down through the hallway. Dodging it in time, they could barely spot their assailant as the unknown armor ducked into the nearest room. Advancing up ahead, the two approached the door. Standing on either side, Grant signaled to Lucas to break the lock and move in. Breaking it the, two poured into the room to see a white power armor standing, its back turned. "Freeze! On your knees!" Grant orders, the two pointing their rifles at the unknown target.

"You know...you ruined one of my bits. Though I guess that's fine, since I've taken out four of yours. I wonder though....how well can you counter against...yourselves," the person inside the armor spoke, as it turned around to fully reveal itself. The two stared in shock to see the sight of the Bertigo standing in front of them.

"What, how is that possible? I thought every Gundam Power Armor was unique!" Lucas yells out, reaffirming its grip and sights on the enemy Bertigo.

"You'd think so..." the enemy said, trailing off to finish its statement. Instead, behind them a low hum of a beam saber could be heard. Barely reacting in time, Lucas blocked the saber with his beam shield, as he was surprised to see another Power Armor standing in front of him looking strikingly similar to his own. As he defended himself, both Bertigos reacted quickly and launched their bits. Before they could fire, explosions rocked throughout the warehouse.

Taking the opportunity, Grant stabilized himself first and his bits lanced out, destroying a few of the copy's. However the ones that weren't destroyed fired out and reduced his to a minimal amount as well. "Looks like your backup has run into our traps." "Bastard!" Grant yells as he dove at the copy, tackling it through a window, their sabers drawn.

Inside, the HEXA and the Victory-like Gundam pulled away from one another and traded shots. As he ran from room to room, the copy pulled out a beam pistol and moved with the coordination of a singular SWAT, forcing Lucas into a corner. Backed up, another explosion rocked the building as more traps went off. Forced with no other options, Lucas fired one last shot with his rifle as he charged, tossing it aside for a set of beam sabers.

Outside the Gigan team rolled up to see two Bertigos fighting one another. "What the hell, sir we got two Bertigos fighting one another. Trying to sort and get a lock on the hostile." As radio chatter came in trying to understand what was going on, Grant continued his fight. While the two were identical armors, the people inside were drastically different, as the copy was able to match blow for blow with unrelenting aggression. However Grant spotted an opening and jammed his arm into the side of the copy and fired several times, destroying the armor's side and forcing the person to collapse to the side, coughing up blood. Pulling out a detonator, the copy pushed it as the rest of the explosives and traps went off. As officers of the law tried to get out of the warehouse in time, the two Victory armors continued to fight one another, chipping away the two armors.

"Seems like this is over," the copy said, as he headbutted the HEXA and pushed him out a window. Wasting no time, the Victory took off into the night sky, as the Bertigo used the distraction to make its escape.

As the two armors escaped, the Gigan squad locked onto their targets, clear of which ones the enemy were. "Fire, now!"

Several cannon shells rang out from the four, as they impacted the lighter armor of the two, forcing them to crash in the distance. By the time anyone could get there, both power armors had escaped, leaving behind chunks of their armor behind.

Results: Law Enforcement Mission partial success. Found information regarding Tesla Industries operating some kind of warehouse. Additional evidence destroyed by the copies. Exposed the potential existence of Gundam Power Armors being remade and recreated. Heavy casualties on Law Enforcement.
