 Name: Akira Renjiro Age: 24 Eye Color: Hazel Hair Color: Black Ethnicity: Japanese American Faction: Ranger Power Armor: Masurao Special Skills: Akira Renjiro is the perfect balance between brains and brawn. Although he has never graduated from college, he is a genius with an IQ easily above 180. He is extremely tech savvy when it comes to power armors, whether it be operating systems or core engineering, as he learned so much from his father's company. He is proficient in both Japanese and English, and has picked up quite a bit of Spanish after operating in the California Desert Area. His physical strength comes from his training in all the key Japanese martial arts such as Kendo, Karate, and Jujitsu. Sometime in his life, he was also trained in marksmanship. His prosthetic implants have come in handy in the past, when his Power Armor was destroyed. Biography: Akira was born in Tokyo, Japan as son of the President of an infamous Power Armor Manufacturer. He lived most of his life living and traveling through the Japanese islands, slowly being modeled by his father to be the head of Yamagato Industries to replace his aging self. In his teens he practiced different forms of martial arts, often competing in competitions all throughout Japan. At the age of 18 he moved to Kyoto, where he studied business, but found himself more interested with the city's historical and cultural significance. As he learned more about Japan's history, he became both fascinated and obsessed with the ideals of Bushido, which led him to watching old Samurai Period Dramas such as Kurama Tengu, which were released during Japan's silent film era. He also read the works of old philosophers such as Yamamoto Tsunetomo, and what they read. His first rebellious act against his father came when he decided to switch majors. When he turned 21, he was inducted into the Yakuza at the request of his father, which is where he learned how to use a gun. Akira's sense of honor and justice fueled him after he witnessed what his supposed comrades were doing. It sickened him that Yamagato industries were affiliated with such low lives. When Akira tried to fight against the Yakuza, and even expose their deeds, his arm was taken from him by his own father. Akira was forced to get a prosthetic limb to replace his right arm. Akira then hastily fled Japan on a cruiser headed to America. During the journey, he worked on the ship, doing all sorts of physical labor, which helped him adjust to his new prosthetic. His knowledge on the GN drive enabled him to recreate a couple knock offs, known as GN Tau Drives, which he used for the creation of his Masurao power armor. During his time spent in California, Akira attempted to hunt down any members of Yakuza that he knew operated in the area. In the harsh deserts, he would protect weary travelers and cut down highwaymen or bandits without mercy. During his years as a ranger, he suffered several wounds, eventually losing his left leg to amputation, which he replaced with the money he managed to save up from crime fighting. As time passed, he noticed that he would not be able to perform on his own indefinitely, which influenced him to search for 6 other allies that were trained in Bushido, and could help him protect the common folk, an idea he came up with after watching Kurosawa's 7 Samurai. Normal pilots did not display such loyalty and devotion as those who studied the ways of the samurai, and cops were often too corrupt to do any good. Personality: Akira's loyalty knows no bounds. Once he has found someone he could put his trust in, Akira will look up to them and aid them in anyway he see fit. Akira is extremely respectful, especially to the elderly. Akira is almost fearless, and it is the way of the samurai that made him this way. Akira also has a great sense of duty, and it is his dedication to his job that makes him such a lone figure as he rarely socializes with others. Combat Style: Akira follows the code of Bushido very strongly, and refuses to use anything other than his beam sabers in one on one duels. He has lost his leg because of this, but it has not faltered his beliefs. He will however use his Beam Chakram or Laser Machineguns against missiles or remote weapons, or if severely outnumbered. Akira takes advantage of the Masurao's agility, often using it to get in close to his opponent where his close combat expertise can be used. Activity: Prelude, 2 Years Earlier Oops?!
