Guys, I'm back. And as I had put on the Facebook page, I have a little more time- now with getting my degree and not having NEARLY as much life crushing stress on my shoulders- to work on the RP ideas I've had floating around.

So here's the deal:
A) I'm lazy. I won't lie. I've been through a good bit lately and I'm kinda tired- on top of doing a LOT of job searching.
B) I have LITERALLY no idea what I'm doing. I could overcome A if I could get past this. I'm not asking for people to (necessarily) take on the work. Google Docs has a suggestion feature that's HELLA useful and anyone who wants to just chime in suggestions is more than welcome to.

I'll also be checking out this thread a DAMN lot, mostly for interested contributors.

Alright.

Teased enough. Have a gameplay engine (or whatever we would call it for a PBEM format) I like.

Can easily port it to any setting.

So, you the people chose between the following. I like each of them, so better to have community involvement rather than I make a game I alone play.

So, until I get this worked out, I'm going to use the forums to set up scheduling for games.

For those who aren't aware (and if you aren't, shame on you, boi), a number of us have started playing board games using the VASSAL Engine. There's a wide variety of board games available in the form of modules built to play these games online. While we're still experimenting with the modules to try to figure out exactly how some of them work, we're also looking to start scheduling games to play on a semi-regular basis.

Amongst those games we're looking to play are:
Arkham Horror
Betrayal at the House on the Hill
Red Dragon Inn
Twilight Imperium
Zombies!!!

There's literally hundreds of others.

Anyways, if you want to schedule a game so people have a set time to show up to play, throw a post up here with the day and time and we'll get it posted up somewhere (still figuring out how exactly to run this system).

Don't know how to play a game and want a tutorial? Give me a shout and I'll teach the ones I know - of those on the list above, I can teach Betrayal, Red Dragon Inn, and Twilight Imperium. I'm sure others'll help with games they know.

I think Flession was wanting to play Betrayal at House on the Hill on Sunday evenings (correct me if I'm wrong, Old Man), and I'd like to set up a game of Twilight Imperium once every month or so.

General Discussions • Gundam The Origin

So, with the recent re-release of Gundam The Origin as a hardcover in US markets, I've resumed buying and am looking forward to the next release in June (I think).

In addition, the recent success of the Gundam Unicorn series has begun talks about turning The Origin in to an animated series. Personally, I would love for this to happen, especially as Gundam needs something GOOD to draw in viewers after the mediocrity of 00 and just plain shit releases lately (looking at you SEED Destiny and AGE). And sad fact is, the reason a ton of people skip original Gundam is because of the outdated animation style. If given an update to look even close to what Unicorn does? It'd kill.

So how many people here would actually like to see a modernization of Gundam with the release of Gundam the Origin as an anime?
