"I'd like to make a deposit, please," Lindon Faergot said, handing a sack of coins to the bank teller.

"One moment, sir," the teller said, putting on a pair of spectacles.

Lindon crossed his arms and began to wait patiently for the teller to count all the coins he had brought in. He didn't mind the wait though; any chance he got to relax from the ever-oppressive field of business was welcome to him. It gave him time to gather his thoughts and obtain peace of mind. His peace of mind was quickly shattered as a large creature burst through the front doors. It was a strange-looking reptile, with soft green skin that had large mushrooms growing out of it. The creature, a rare beast called Dragonshroom, roared as it slammed its tail into a security guard.

"Oh bloody hell," Lindon muttered, taking back his bag of coins. Either he would slay the beast with them or run away and find a new place to deposit them.

The Dragonshroom quickly took notice of the merchant's actions and charged, exhaling a strange-looking cloud in his direction. Lindon covered his face as he tried to hit the dragon in the eye with thrown coins. The dragon's breath irritated the man's eyes and he ran about, but he forced himself to keep looking where he was aiming. Several coins had already buried themselves in the beast's soft flesh but it continued to go on fighting.

When Lindon's eyes were too sore to see clearly, he changed strategies. He quickly grabbed a rope and tied it around the open end of the bag. He gave his new morning star a practice swing as he rejoined the battle. The Dragonshroom turned away from the teller it was threatening to see what its old prey was up to, only to be clubbed in the jaw with a heavy sack of coins. The merchant quickly jumped on the beast's back while it was stunned and wrapped the rope around its neck. Once the dragon realized what was happening, it began to thrash about. The merchant and dragon were locked in a mortal struggle until, at last, the dragon fell over, dead or unconscious.

Lindon wiped his brow with relief. He wasn't sure he would be able to pull that move off when he started, but it had paid off in the end. As he returned his sack of coins to the shaken teller, he broke one of the mushrooms off of the beast's back and began to chew on it.

Outcome: Lindon Faegot is triumphant
Lindon Faegot: -25 HP, +20 SP, 1 Back Mushroom (Food, mysterious effects)
Dragonshroom: -35 HP, +20 SP
