Two farmers stood about the grain silo chewing the fat. It was a slow day; making sure the crops were watered hadn't taken long and now the two weren't sure of what to do with their day. Their idle chatter soon came to a halt as one of the farmers felt the ground shake beneath his feet. He turned towards a sound he heard in the distance and gasped. "Herd of buffalo!" he shrieked. "Yeah, I heard of buffalo," his friend said. "So what?" He was the first to die as the Herd of Buffalo began charging at the grain silo, trampling everything that got in their path. Farmers panicked, running to and fro in a panic as they ran for cover or, in more foolhardy instances, weapons to fight off the insidious invasion. Several farmers grabbed their old rifles, old swords, and old wives as they charged to defend the grain. All were crushed underfoot, even the old wives. It was a tragedy of untold proportions. When all hope looked lost though, five children suddenly jumped in front of the buffalo and each pulled a deck of cards from his or her sleeve. "We challenge you to a duel, Herd of Buffalo!" the spiky-haired kid in front said, drawing a card from his deck. The buffalo all screeched to a halt, confused as to what the children were doing. Each child placed a card on the ground and shouted its name with burning justice. The buffalo all stood in confusion, waiting for something. Finally, the lead buffalo walked over to the children and picked up the card he had drawn. It said "Blue Eyes White Dragon" and had a cool picture on it. The child looked at the buffalo arrogantly, as if he had already defeated the entire herd on his own. The buffalo looked the child in the eye and snorted before eating the card. The child was stunned, meeting the buffalo's gaze once more before he began to cry. The buffalo herd was on the move again, casually and disappointedly walking around the ground of children before reaching the grain silo.
