On the other side of the lake, before you arrived to the Elven village of Rivendell, which was located is the forest filled valleys of the northern mountains, there were the remains of an ancient civilization that once flourished in Eco. These ruins were all that was left of their race, and now they were to be used by Katherine to hold a landsmeet to discuss the inevitable war just around the corner. Katherine would give an inspirational speech that would unite the people to stand up against the tyranny and irrationality of Ball Punion. Katherine awaited as more and more people showed up. Representatives from nomadic Elven tribes that chose to live in the forest as opposed to in the village, showed up. All members of the Merchants' Guild also made an appearance, as the organization was lead by none other than Katherine Lockheart. Katherine's War council was of course required to attend, as so was Rivendell's Elven Royalty. There were other faces present as well; most of them were people who were outlawed or exiled from Punation, often by brute force. Katherine sat down and observed, signaling her personal guards and soldiers to do a roll-call of who was there. This was not just a discussion with her constituents on whether she should go to war, but also a call to arms. Katherine wanted to know exactly who would come to her aid if she needed them. She would also influential and powerful figures to back her with men, along with the funding to equip them. While Lockheart and Punion were evenly matched in terms of settlements owned, Punion had a head start in raising his army. Now it was time to do the same. |

"Oh my gosh, a party! Should we have brought snacks?" Spike 8 pondered, rubbing his chin. "It's not that kind of party, ruffian!" Spike 10 answered with flourish of his cape. "It's a war party! Where we talk about war while enjoying more sophisticated edibles, such as wine and caviar!" Dragonshroom grunted quietly as his apprentices bickered with each other. He briefly considered throwing most of them off of the land ship to help tow, but the addition of wheels, courtesy of some random guy he'd found, made it easy enough to pull the ship that the two ponies needed no assistance. Not that it stopped them from complaining. "This harness is so ugly!" Rarity 1 moaned. "And it's starting to chafe!" Rarity 2 agreed. "Can we take a break?" Dragonshroom rolled his eyes and nodded as the land-going sea vessel lurched to a halt. Most of the Spikes immediately disembarked, rushing to the two ponies to fawn over them as they usually do. Dragonshroom simply walked to the rear of the vessel where Spike 6, the group loner, sat with a cigarette made from local materials. "Join me for a smoke, boss?" Dragonshroom shook his head, plucking a mushroom from his back and gnawing on it. He was impatient to answer the call-to-arms put out by Katherine Lockheart, eager for a fight since he received word his buildings in Eco had been destroyed by Ball Punion. He'd assembled some fighters, gotten some transportation, but even then Dragonshroom would likely need help in his mission. A smattering of giggling from the front of the ship drew his attention and he stalked back to the front of the boat. The Rarity Sisters were in the middle of receiving manicures and drinks from the apprentices. Dragonshroom clapped his large paws together and grunted, signaling an end to the festivities. With a chorus of groans, the Spikes reattached now-padded harnesses and climbed back on-board the ship. "That's not a propery way to treat ladies, you know," Spike 7 admonished, pulling up the gangplank as soon as his comrade were on board. Dragonshroom did his best to show how much he didn't care about how his pack animals were pampered, but the message seemed to go unnoticed for once. He briefly harbored thoughts of getting more animals to ease the burden on those two, but cast it aside as the meeting place came into sight. |

Today was nothing new from ordinary as Shawtie hobbled his way around. He didn't have an injury or anything, he just enjoyed walking the way he did for how relaxing it was on his body. He cast aside all the looks and gossip he got as he passed by. Old news to him, plain and boring. He started to hum and whistle a tune, enjoying the clattering sounds from his large knapsack filled with all his neat little knickknacks. It was then that he stumbled on the large gathering. "Hmmm, me thinks this might be something I should be taking a look into, yes?" Shawtie nodded, rubbing his chin as he made his way closer. As he reached the large gathering, he noticed a familiar insignia on some of the attendants. The Merchants' Guild insignia it was, if he recalled correctly. Ever since hearing about it, it peaked Shawtie's interest, having his mouth water with the prospects of making a profit. Bigger profit means more food, and more food means a happy Shawtie. He would have to make it a stop on his to-do list after he was done listening to the whatnots of this large gathering. It surely was important, as he heard words of grandeur, encouragement to unite, stopping tyranny. "Tyranny..." Shawtie shrugged. He didn't take much care into what was good or evil, but what he did know was that tyranny was a lot of times bad for business. Especially his own. Knowing this, Shawtie would rather not have a tyrannical leader running around ruining bond prices. That would mean less profit, and more importantly, less food. "No, no, that cannot happen," |

The large metal bird roared in from the distance, it's skies unchallenged, it prowess in the air unmatched at least except for the other stormsworders. Advances jets through up clouds of dust and bent trees as the ship once more found the earth it's perch. Out of the advanced aircraft stepped a large ebony chocobo followed by the antithesis of the craft, an uncivilized sort wearing the remains of many past hunts as armor and weapons. The two exited the craft, the chocobo's head darting from one guest to another keeping steady eyes on them. Behind them arrived several more dubious characters, two of elven blood walked, enjoying the scenery of their past home. The smallest of the group, a short fellow who looked like he could swindle the feathers off of a duck, stepped forward. "Boss here is interested in your call, he's got an itch for a fight and i can't talk him out of it." He said, wringing his hands. "but, we need a better reason than that to help you i'm afraid..." he trailed off waiting for others to speak up. |

Times were dark in the land of Eco. A wicked party of goats had taken over the town and farmlands. This left the lake, forests, and mountains as the last bastions of freedom. The goats, however, would not be content with their meager holdings. They were eying the lake, licking their lips with their goat-y tongues, and sharpening their goat-y horns as goats are known to do. It was only a matter of time before they began to march on their hooves, and when they did, no one would be able to stop. It was a good thing that Dizzy the SUPREME was no one. No, Dizzy the SUPREME was not a one. Dizzy the SUPREME was at least a four! Maybe even a five with the help of the lake pirates! Heck maybe even a six now that Dizzy the SUPREME wielded a pirate cutlass and buckler! It was common sense then that the Lady of the Lakes and Forest would come to Dizzy the SUPREME for aide. Who else was there? "Sure," Dizzy the SUPREME humbly admitted in their head, "there may be a dinosaur, a giant flying metal dragon, and a horde of ponies but that won't be enough to stop the goats." They were a fine start but it was only Dizzy the SUPREME's own abilities that would ensure victory in the coming battle. Dizzy the SUPREME knew this for a fact and so did the four lake pirates that flanked the SUPREME scholar as they made their way into the crowd gathered in the ruins. The pirates had told Dizzy the SUPREME this repeatedly so it had to be true. Each one of the pirates held a book that Dizzy the SUPREME had leant them as well as a pirate cutlass. One of them could even read so Dizzy the SUPREME had entrusted them with the sack that held all the books. Dizzy the SUPREME did not wield any weapons. The buckler was on their back and the cutlass was still sheathed on their waist. Still though Dizzy the SUPREME was extremely imposing. The pirates had told Dizzy the SUPREME this repeatedly so it had to be true. Dizzy the SUPREME was, after all, decked out in their extra tall wizard hat, heroic blue cape of heroics, yellow jumpsuit of comfort, tiny red jacket of fashion, and of course the extra tall boots of speed. You only had to take one look at Dizzy the SUPREME to know that they had earned their position. Still though Dizzy the SUPREME was eager for confirmation and they did their best to look menacing by glaring at anyone foolish enough to meet their gaze. They were going to be allies but it was still important to establish boundaries. |

Jenkins was sailing the waters of the lake on his ship when he spotted a row boat heading his way. He ordered his crew to man the guns and be ready to fire on his mark. He headed to the front of the ship and yelled out "What is your business with this ship answer quickly or you will be destroyed". The man yelled back form the boat "I bring an urgent message form Katherine Lockheart for an man named Jenkins" Jenkins was interested as to why he would receive a message so he allowed the man to board his ship having his pirates at the ready encase of a sneak attack. The man handed him the message and Jenkins sent him back to his ship having his cannons follow the boat back to shore. After the man was gone he opened the note. Dear Jenkins I welcome you to Port Katherine. I heard that it was Ball Punion that forced you into exile. I have a solution for you. You help me fight against him, and defend my port village and you can take your revenge on him for the troubles he had put you through. Meet with me if you are interested. - Katherine Lockheart Black Beard walked up behind Jenkins "Whats it say boss" Jenkins responded "It a message from the good lady Katherine Lockheart," Jenkins paused remembering Ball Punions violent attacks against him, how he was left inches from death, and how he was forced to leave his companions behind. He then rose in roaring emotion, "Men ready the cannons, sharpen your swords, and prepare yourselves for battle, we set out for Lockhearts port. Soon we shall be shedding the blood of goats." The men all roared in excitement and began getting the ship ready, a slight turn to the east and they were off to the port. Jenkins and his dastardly crew were war bound Edited by Rob Rocket, Oct 18 2011, 11:52 PM.

Striker had just finished up crafting all the supplies for Katherine that she had requested as well as putting on the finishing touches on his own equipment. When he heard about the meet, he felt that it was only right for him to attend. He seathed his new sword, a katana as it is called, incredability sharp, deadly, silent, and fast. He then grabbed his Bow and Arrows which he crafted himself, and last but not least... his new armor. Lightweight and plenty durable, his new armor lets him react quicker and attack faster than hsi pervious armor from his time period. "Well time to be useful." Striker said to himself as he walked the city towards the fortress for the meeting. He was reciting the letter that was sent to him by Katherine. He had heard stories about the person she was fighting against. It was then he decided that being a Katherine's side was for the best. Striker had fought tyrants before, back in his time, and he would once again takes up arms against this one. "Tyrants have no business running kingdoms." The knight has returned. |
