For Yuku communities that generate fewer than 50,000 page views per month, there is a flat cost of $6 per month. Board creators can opt to subscribe to the Gold Ad-Free Community offer at any time. In addition, any Yuku member can contribute to the Gold Ad-Free Community subscription for a community.
Large Yuku communities that generate over 50,000 page views a month can participate in the Gold Ad-Free Community offering using easy credit card or PayPal payments. Advertising can be removed from community pages that serve Yuku ads at a rate of $0.20 per 1,000 pages served. Yuku serves ads on topic pages in a community, and the Gold Ad-Free Community contributions are applied only to those pages. Pages that do not carry Yuku ads do not count against the contributions. The minimum contribution is US $1.00. Community owners as well as Yuku members can contribute to the Gold Ad-Free Community offer for a community at any time.
Any unused Gold Ad-Free Community contributions for a community that grows beyond 50,000 page views a month will be applied toward removing ads at a rate of $0.20 per 1,000 pages that serve Yuku ads. Yuku serves ads on only half of all the pages in a community.
