Bio: Saladin was found abandoned as an orphan in the levant region of the middle east. He was raised and home schooled by a poor family of farmers until he was old enough to venture out. Saladin spent several years traveling throughout the Middle East and parts of North Africa, sometimes seeking refuge with Nomadic tribes that still traveled throughout the region. He eventually decided that he wanted to attend University, which he paid for with money he earned from working the land, help from his parents, and all sorts of odd jobs he performed during his journeys. His parents saw great potential in him and wanted him to live a life they could not. He moved to Beirut and studied various topics at the AUB, where he proved to be an exceptionally quick learner, despite not dealing in depth with such material. At the age of 22, Saladin was conscripted into the European Empire Reichsguard, where he trained to become a mobile suit pilot in the ground forces. Tensions were slowly rising with the Japanese Empire and the American Union, and a full on Arms race had begun after the mass production of the Mobile Suit. With minimal training, Saladin could operate complex machines that were operated by quantum computers. After a blood test, it was confirmed that Saladin was a coordinator and had been engineered in one of the European Empire's Middle Eastern labs. This fact made him a diamond in the rough, which was proven on the battlefield during the battle of Suez, who he served under the command of Waltfeld, a German general who derived a lot of his strategies from Rommel "The Desert Fox", a war hero from the Second World War. Waltfeld was also responsible for training Saladin and chose to keep the fact that Saladin was a coordinator a secret from the higher ups. Saladin eventually earned his own squadron and the rank of an Officer. However, his promotions were not given to him merely because of his skills, but for his actions in subduing multiple militant groups without the use of force, but instead with diplomacy. While the top brass were eager to plow right through these groups, with Saladin's help, no resources had to be wasted on such endeavors.
