"Looks like we've got a few more lost souls who haven't heard the news," Sebastian Cross muttered, watching the convoy of American ships traveling up the coast.
"That's too bad, sir," his wingman lamented. "Should we let them know of the change in management?"
"Guess we'd better," Sebastian agreed. "You take the one in front, I'll grab the one in the middle."
The two Z'Goks quickly sped towards the awaiting freighters, confident in their superiority over the American ships and their escorts. By the time any of the American ships realized they were under attack, their hulls had been punctured by the aquatic suits' claws and shortly after few aboard were in a position to do anything more than prey for salvation or hustle to flimsy life boats once the suits began firing their mega particle guns.
"Something just splashed down," Sebastian's wingman suddenly reported. "Just one though and it kind of looks like one of those Cancer things."
"I'll get it," Sebastian ordered. "Just finish off the rest of these future bottom dwellers."
Sebastian's Z'Gok pulled its claws out of the doomed freighter and made a beeline for the American diver. The crab-shaped vehicle, he could hardly call it a mobile suit, turned towards him, raising a stubby arm to fire torpedoes. Two pairs of warheads streaked through the water, but were easily evaded by Sebastian. The shots drifted so far to port though, he wondered if he even needed to dodge. Clearly, the Cancer was being piloted by some civilian, a terrified deck hand who preferred to steal valuable cargo rather than risk death by staying aboard the ship or getting in a lifeboat with little chance of rescue.
"Wrong choice," Sebastian muttered, quickly closing in.
Moments later, the Z'Gok's claws emerged from the back of the Cancer, punching clear through. The suit spasmed briefly before all orders finally ceased.
"Alright, that's the last of them," Sebastian's wingman reported. "Now what?"
"Leave a distress beacon so the survivors can be rescued," Sebastian ordered. "We're soldiers, not savages."
Outcome: Sebastian Cross wins Sebastian Cross: 6 Xp, Repairing 1
