"Well...You really went overboard this time, man." A pilot wearing Imperial garb said, hands clasped behind his head as he and his squad commander observed the burning wreck of a GINN.

"I didn't mean to..."

It was a friendly challenge. A dispute had arisen between the two comrades about how even though the GINN's pilot outranked Jherek, he was still his subordinate. The dispute was interrupted when a manager of the GUNDAM Project intervened and suggested they settle this bickering by way of combat. They stood, squared off with one another. The GINN Clutched it's rifle and sword while Jherek stood with his own shield and beam saber at the ready.

A red flare signaled the beginning of the competition.

Jherek lounged forward, swiping down with his beam saber, but was shocked when the Duel Gundam hit a patch of sand that caused him to lose his balance. The pilot of the GINN just smirked as he flew up, firing his rifle down on the suit. He knew it wouldn't do much good on account of the Phase Shift, but he also knew that each shot weakened his opponents battery life.

Jherek cursed, getting rocked a bit in his cockpit as the rounds struck his Mobile Suit as he quickly compensated for the sand. The Duel pivoted to the side and turned it's head toward the GINN, firing it's CIWS at the Mobile Suit. The pilot of the GINN was quick to dodge and responded by firing two missiles. One struck a direct hit on the Gundam's chest while the other seemed to purposefully impact the sand infront of it, sending up a cloud of dust.

Caught off guard by this, Jherek quickly tried to reverse his course to get a better view but the pilot of the GINN descended upon him, sending a boot to the Gundam's head and knocking it backwards. When the GINN landed it held it's sword up high and slammed it downwards. The blade aimed straight for the cockpit and Jherek seemed to watch in slow motion as the GINN's sword approached him.

Something snapped within him, his pupils dilated and his mind raced. He quickly retook control of the duel, shifting the Gundam to the side in the sand below while simultaneously swiping his beam saber across. The result was the GINN's sword landed in the sand below and the army being severed by the Duel Gundam's beam saber.

The next motion was to dislodge the GINN, which Jherek accomplished by unloading his CIWS up into the GINN. The rounds tore into the mono-eye'd head of the GINN and wrecked it as he swipped his beam saber again, this time de-legging the GINN and causing it to topple over. By the time Jherek regained control, his beamsaber was stopped inches from the now open cockpit, his squad mate visible with his arms raised in surrender.

The man hopped from his now wrecked GINN, cursing as Jherek's monitor flashed 'Low Battery'.

Jherek, now feeling surprisingly weak and weary stepped from the cockpit of his Gundam and descended to the sand below to join his Squad Mate, the two watching on as the destroyed GINN's fuel tanks finally succumbed to the damage and the suit caught fire.

"I'm really not sure what happened." Jherek tried to explain, now sitting around the field camp with the team sent to oversee the GUNDAM Project.

"Look, don't worry about it." A female technician said. "Der Kaiser has sent us a little something special.." The woman responded, pointing her finger over to two large containers which had recently been delivered in a supply drop. Gifts from Der Kaiser due to the performance of the Duel Gundam.
