Faisal as-Senussi looked out the front viewport of his battleship with disinterest, wishing command hadn't contacted him with orders to join in on some ridiculous war game. There were real enemies he could be out hunting down and they wanted to hold a brilliant commander such as himself back to play games? Ridiculous as they were, orders were orders and he had changed course to participate in the play date. Awaiting his ship was another battleship, one of the Lesseps-class.

"Sir, IFF reads as the same ship that almost ran into us weeks ago," his sensor officer reported.

The crown prince's attention was immediately drawn to the situation before him. His grin stretched from ear to ear as he eagerly awaited a chance to get his revenge on whatever mongrel commoner captain had dared not to cede him right of way. It still noted some signs of the accident, he noted with interest.

"Command is giving us specific orders for this engagement," the communications officer reported. "Our ship and team are to engage the Lesseps-class vessel and its team. We are to use paint rounds."

"Fire now!" Faisal ordered. "We will hit them while they're off-guard!"

The Petrie's guns immediately fired, splashing large red marks onto the side of its adversary. The Lesseps reacted slowly, its surprise at being fired at already evident. The Petrie's hangar opened up and disgorged its immaculate team of GiNNs onto the battlefield as the ship moved to avoid counter-fire. The bigger ship's guns still functioned, turning and sending their bigger shells into the Petrie's path. Faisal growled as a large orange splotched appeared on his bow and his officers reported the disabling of their missile launchers.

"Concentrate fire on their bridge!" he ordered.

As the Petrie's guns prepared to fire, they were suddenly hit with streams of bright blue paint, simulated shots from a GiNN's ion cannon. The other ship's mobile suits had quickly deployed at the beginning of the abruptly-began battle, swarming upon the Ceremonial GiNNs were ferocity. Of the six, only one wasn't drenched in orange paint, though its efforts at resistance were mostly futile against five clean GiNNs. The other five enemy GiNNs had swapped for their heavy weapons and were surrounding the crown prince's ship, joining their fire with their mothership's to bring the royal Petrie to its knees.

Damage reports were coming in constantly. Penetrations, disabled systems, fratricidal munition stores...if they had been in a real battle, the ship would have been an unsalvagable hulk by now. Only one of the ship's guns was capable of returning fire, though it was unable to hit any of the GiNNs swarming the ship. Before Faisal could give any more attack orders, the lights in the bridge went dark, signaling the end of the battle. A battle he lost.

"Looks like the right of way is ours now!" the Lesseps' captain said, radioing in as soon as the Petrie's systems came back on.
