Ranmaru on Trial

His arrival in Korea was not a heroes welcome. He was slapped in cuffs by the Kempeitai in the Middle of the night and dragged away to the brig. He'd spend the next night there, contemplating what his ultimate fate would be. It was not uncommon for Officers who had failed to be ordered to kill themselves to redeem their families honor, but long-term imprisonment on the other hand was fairly rare. Many simply could not live with the disgrace and begged the right to take their own life.

Ranmaru was an exception. No one in the tribunal had seen what he experienced, and he intended to make full use of that fact. The next day he stood in a dark room, several monitors with shadow covered faces surrounded him as he plead his case to the Higher Ups and presented the evidence and combat data of the Duel Gundam and the Archangel.

After an hour or so of deliberation, Ranmaru was released on a probationary status. Alot of good men had died under his command, it would be a hard thing for him to shake from his honor.
