History:The Swift's are a military family living in Detroit, Michigan, most of which had served throughout the years of war; minus Quinn, his father, grand father. Quinn's an ambitious boy who fell in love with the war stories that his father had told him about his family and their inclusion in the military. Although he loves his family and his home, there was a yearning for the world that Quinn had to fulfill. There was a need to fill the shoes of his ancestors that drove Quinn. Hearing of the world insurmountable problems, he decided to be proactive and involve himself in the coming war.
Believing his own hype, because he had deadshot deadeye when he played first person shooters and because he was an excellent simulator pilot, Quinn infiltrated his way into an American Union compound, only to be caught within four minutes of breaking in. Swift had tried to escape, but had been trapped at all corners. Rather than go down without a fight, Quinn took whatever junk, rock or shrapnel he found and made them projectiles. Beaning at least ten soldiers off the foreheads of their helmets, Quinn's accuracy was noted. The soldiers took a liking to him and questioned his breaking in and entering.
Although he told them his story, they were amazed by his performance in the flight simulator that they had and marveled even more when they saw his accuracy percentile. Finding that he was a quick learner, being astounded by his performance and needing soldiers in the face of battle, Quinn stayed. The hardest part for him was letting go of home. He had phoned his parents, only to leave a message.
"Mom, dad, Kev, Philly, i'm in the army now and um, they like me here and i'm so awesome; I think I even have a few of the older soldiers jealous. Um....I dunno when i'll be home, but when i come back i'll be battle hardened. I love you guys. Oh, don't worry about me, okay?
Oh, and don't wait up"
