| "They should be entering the Kevari
soon," a man said as he typed frantically at the painfully slow
computer, "If those fools manage to penetrate the defense force, the
BattleMaster will be very unhappy. He could even destroy the advance
force. That wouldn't be very good for me or the rest of the team.
Perhaps they will lose. There is nothing I can here anyway." The man sat up from his console and headed toward the MS hangar. Side 7 sits peacefully in the dead of space holding high orbit over Earth. Outside, a patrol of Den'an Gei's makes one last pass around the colony. "Sir, my visuals are picking several large objects in Sector 37." radios one of the Den'an Gei pilots. They look out into the darkness of space to see several blinking lights. "What the hell? Are those...attack ships?" The answer soon came as a barrage of mega particle fire from the main guns of the ships belonging to the Romanov Roaming Fleet bore down upon the colony. "Sir! There are incoming Mobile Suits! Lots of them, too!" "Everyone get inside the colony and defend the garrison!" orders the squads commander as the Den'an Gei's retreat back to Side 7. "Ha! Behold! The Earth scum treasure their lives over that of civilians! It's a shame that they will all die anyways!" boasts Victor Kane in the FAZZ as the Romanov and Colony Liberation Front strike force of Marasais, GM Quells, and Xeku Eins boosts off towards the colony. "Kane, we've spotted a defense satellite above the colony. We'll take care of it, but spread your forces out. You don't want that thing wiping out half your strike force." informs the captain of the Tyrant's Test, flagship of the Roaming Fleet. The Dogos Gear and the Modified Musai Kai fire upon the defense satellite with their long-range guns as the strike force of 200 MS pans out at Victor's orders. No sooner than Victor issued the order, the defense satellite's main cannon fires upon the Romanov and CLF forces, destroying nearly a dozen MS. The satellite would never get to fire again however, for the concentrated firepower from the capital ships sent it crashing down towards the colony. Now that the defense satellite was nothing but junk, Victor stops the FAZZ a few hundred meters from the colony. "If they won't let us in, then I guess I'll have to make my own entrance!" laughs Victor, charging the toso-mounted High Mega Cannon. A few seconds later, the cannon fires its energy, and the resulting blast blows a hole in the side of the colony. A hole big enough for two suits to fit through at once. Debris shot forth from the hole, thanks to vacuum effect space was having on the interior of the colony. Two GM Quells enter the hole first, but they don't get far inside before they are torn apart by beam gun fire from the Den'an Geis. Victor removes the threat with another High Mega Cannon blast, which rips through the interior facilities and breaches the actual colony environment. Alarms wail as people run into shelters while everything around them is slowly being sucked into space. A little boy looks up to the "sky" to see giants invading his home as his mother tugs on his arm. And awaiting these invaders inside the colony is the infamous Dark Tiger Squadron. "Well, looks like we have a welcoming party boys. Lets keep them occupied while the engineers do the part to bring this colony down upon our enemies!" shouts Victor Kane, charging headfirst into battle as dozens of MS pour into the colony from behind. Within seconds the interior of the colony is transformed into a warzone. The FAZZ fires off nearly two dozen of its missiles, which destroy several of the Den'an Geis from the RoE garrison in Side 7. Victor notices that the dark colored defending MS are fighting back well, and he realizes that his forces are up against the Dark Tiger Squadron. "No matter. I won't let a few suits stop our wrath. Not even the Fenrir can stop us now!" Victor says as the FAZZ draws beam fire from the defenders. "Keep the Romanov forces from reaching the key facilities! Our reinforcements will arrive shortly!" orders Brigadier General Reign Lesnar as he impales a Xeku Eins 1 with his Berga Giros' shot lancer. As the Garrison forces are destroyed one by one around them, the Dark Tiger squadron stands up bravely to the attackers, holding them back for the meantime. Outside the colony, the Romanov Roaming Fleet remains nearby to secure the operation. All is quiet until the crew of the Art of War notices a ship decloak infront of it. That ship is the Asgard, the pride of the Midnight Fenrir, who happened to be inside. "Sir! That's the Fenrir logo!" exclaims an officer on the bridge of the Art of War. The Fenrir immediately launch from the Asgard, with the Spearhead Type C leading the pack. "LG and Rondell, come with me. Everyone else take care of these ships!" orders William Drake as the Spearhead, Tallgeese III and Disciple Gundam take off for Side 7. The Stame Orchis wraps its battleship-sized chain mine around around the Blood Lust. The Modified Musai Kai is reduced to scrap metal when the mines detonate with powerful force. "The Tyrant's Test is escaping!" exclaims Fenix in the Ex-S Gundam, firing at the fleeing Dogos Gear with the beam smartrifle. He only gets in one hit before the Jin Roh places itself between him and they Tryant's Test, taking the brunt of the fire. "We've got enemy MS launching!" shouts Vicius, destroying two Marasais with the Zaku III's Hyper Bazooka. "No sweat!" replies Noel in the Stamen Orchis, firing a volley of missiles that obliterates nearly a dozen of the Romanov MS and dealing severe damage to the Art of War. Fenix sinks the Jin Roh with the Ex-S Gundam's beam cannons, then turns to help Jean Blade of the GM Sniper III, who is being harassed by Xeku Eins Type 1s. Vicius destroys the bridge of The Angel of Death with two incendiary missiles, and with that the Romanov Roaming Fleet has been reduced to one ship, which was already clear of the battlezone. Noel shrieks as several Marasai's and GM Quells latch on to the Orchis and begin firing into the massive mobile armor. "I've got your back!" informs Kikyo in the Zaku I God's Eye, firing at the assailers with the 75mm gatling gun. But her efforts do little to help the Orchis, and soon a large explosion rips through its interior. "Shit! I'm detaching from the Orchis! It's not like it's going to fit in that colony anyways!" exclaims Noel as the Stamen detaches from the Orchis body. "The enemy is retreating to Side 7. Let's go!" orders Jean Blade, who destroys a straggling GM Quell with a shot from the beam sniper rifle. With that, the Fenir head off towards the embattled colony. Inside the colony walls, things were ugly. Nearly the entire Republic of Earth Force had been destroyed by the Romanov fleet, and several Dark Tiger Squadron members had fallen. But relief came as the Tallgeese III arrived, soon followed by the Spearhead Type C and the Disciple Gundam Mark V. LG destroys two Marasais with the Tallgeese's Dober Gun as William fires the Spearhead's 350mm cannons into a gathering of CLF Mobile Suits. "Dammit! There's too many of them!" curses Rondell, destroying 2 Xeku Eins and GM Quells with the Disciple's fin funnels. "We can't do much on our own like this." replies William as the Spearhead takes heavy machinegun fire. "Let's make our way to the Dark Tiger Squadron forces and assist them." orders the Midnight Fenrir leader. Just as the remaining MF members arrive inside the colony, several massive explosions go off, adding to the terror. People tried to run on the streets, but fire seeming rained down from the sky upon them. And in some places they couldn't run - they were being sucked out into space via the massive hole Victor Kane blew into the side of the colony. "I can never forgive Victor nor Romanov for this atrocity! I'll make him pay!" screams Fenix in the Ex-S Gundam after spotting the FAZZ. "Lieutenant William Drake, this is Brigadier General Reign Lesnar. The Romanov Fleet has sabotaged Side 7's installations and engines. The colony's orbit is decaying and it is rapidly approaching Earth. There's nothing else we can do here. Get your wingmen out of here now!" orders the Dark Tiger Squadron Commander. It troubled Reign to have to give an order like that, but there was no other option. The Romanov and CLF forces were already beginning to pull back, and the damage had been done. "Affirmative. Fenrir, you heard him. Let's get out of here." says William over the comm, showing remorse in his words. The FAZZ stood over the destruction it had brought to the colony. Entire neighborhoods were reduced to rubble by it's powerful weapons, killing thousands in the process. "Death comes swiftly to those who refuse to join us." says Victor followed by an insane laugh. "Let the scar this colony will leave on Earth be a warning to all who oppose us!" Victor begins laughing again, until he feels the FAZZ shake violently. "This colony will slam into the Earth in rougly ten minutes. And I'll see to it that you tag along for the ride!" shouts an enranged Fenix, firing the Ex-S Gundam's beam cannons at the FAZZ. The thick and durable armor on the FAZZ holds up against the power of the beam cannons, but Victor knows he can't take an onslaught of this magnitude for much longer. "Boy, play with fire and get burned!" growls Victor, firing a small volley of missiles at the Ex-S. Fenix breaks into a sweat while skillfully gunning down the missiles with the Ex-S's four vulcan guns. While Fenix is occupied by the missiles, Victor charges the FAZZ's head-mounted High Mega Cannon and fires it at the Ex-S Gundam. A bring light surrounds Fenix and his Gundam as the powerful beam surge impacts the Gundam's I-Field barrier. The Ex-S shakes violenty as the beam overwhelms the I-Field and impacts the Gundam itself, sending it tumbling onto its back. The once white Gundam is now charred black, but miraculously it holds together. "This'll do it for sure. You can say your prayers, but they won't do you much good!" says Victory, bringing the FAZZ's massive Large Hyper Mega Cannon to bear. But Fenix refuses to die. A quick burst from the Ex-S Gundam's Large Hip Beam Cannons is enough to force the FAZZ to drop its Large Hyper Mega Cannon. "You son of a goddamn whore, now I will make your death all the more painful!" curses Victor, screaming at the top of his lungs. "Unless I get to you first!" shouts back Fenix, tackling the giant FAZZ to the ground. Victor fires the 90mm vulcan guns into the S Gundam, forcing Fenix to back off. The two Gundams ignite their beam sabers and begin a melee duel that drags on for minutes. However, Victor eventually manages to gain the upper hand and slice off the Ex-S's left arm and push it down a hill. "Commander Kane, why are you still inside? The colony will enter the atmosphere in one minute!" interrupts a Romanov officer over the comm. Victor curses and looks around the colony. "That bastard refuses to die, and the exit is all the way on the other side of the colony. Guess I'll have to blast another hole in the colony." Victor turns and leaves the beaten Ex-S behind and picks up the Hyper Mega Cannon. After a few seconds of charging, the cannon fires and blows an even larger hole in the colony. "There we go...Mission accomplished." says Victor with a smirk on his face. The FAZZ jets its way out of the doomed colony just as it is about to enter the upper atmosphere. "They have entered. Prepare to push." contacts an unknown voice over the comm. Victor smiles and heads back to the orbiting Tyrant's Test. Meanwhile, Fenix desperately fires all he has into the colony walls, eventually blasting away enough metal to allow his Gundam to escape. Using the Ex-S's powerful acceleration, Fenix barely manages to make it out of Side 7 without being drawn into the Earth's gravitational pull. Fenix can do nothing but watch the colony as it glows red during its decent into the atmosphere. A minute later, the Side 7 colony disappears in a large dome of fire over Beijing, China. The explosion envelops over two hundred square miles, killing millions and sending a cloud of dust the size of Texas into the air, while leaving a 3 mile-wide crater behind. It was a terrifying sight. Fenix could do nothing to hold back tears as he witnessed the whole spectacle from space. Outcome: Romanov and CLF Forces suceed, Side 7 crashes into China Side 7: Destroyed, along with entire RoE garrison All Midnight Fenrir Members: Rp(3) Dark Tiger Squadron: Ensign Odin Lowe, Ensign Adrian Cage, and Lt.
