Joining Info

There are 4 alliances you may join and 3 skills you may start out with, and these affect what you can do.  Everyone starts on Earth (so we won't all be scattered), and pay is given on Fridays.  I would advise reading everything else before joining, though.

Teams:  Earth Federation, Organization of Zodiac, Sanck Kingdom, Rebels

Skills:  Piloting, Engineering, Selling

Teams

Checks are given out on Thursdays (unless you joined on that Thursday).

Earth Federation (EF):  You start out with $50,000 and get a weekly check of $8,000.  You get repairs at twice the speed on Earth compared to normal.

Alternate Option 1:  For 6 weeks, you get no paycheck, but start off with a skeleton Earth Fed base wherever you want it, plus an additional $10,000.  After that, you get paid regularly.  Then the base is yours, but all EF members may still come, unless you pay for the full skeleton base cost.

Organization of Zodiac (OZ):  You start out with $60,000 and get a weekly check of $7,000.  You get repairs at twice the speed on the Moon compared to normal.

Alternate Option 1:  For 6 weeks, you get no paycheck, but start off with a skeleton OZ ship wherever you want it, plus an additional $10,000.  After that, you get paid regularly.  Then the ship is yours, but all OZ members may still come, unless you pay for the full skeleton ship cost.  Pilots only.

Sanck Kingdom (SK):  You start out with $50,000 and get a weekly check of $7,000.  You get repairs at twice the speed on L2 compared to normal.  You also get to start off with 2 skills instead of one.  SK members may only intervene in battle and not start the battle except against a cruel person.  They may intervene if the battle is a big war, if someone is outnumbered greatly in an ambush (2+ more on opponent's side), and if someone is obviously overpowered and isn't dueling or an ambusher.

Alternate Option 1:  For 6 weeks, you get no paycheck, but start off with a skeleton Sanck Kingdom base wherever you want it, plus an additional $10,000.  After that, you get paid regularly.  Then the base is yours, but all SK members may still come, unless you pay for the full skeleton base cost.

Rebels (Rebs):  You start out with $100,000, but have no paycheck.  You get repairs at twice the speed on L1-L5 and Earth compared to normal.

Skills

In order to get another skill besides those you started with and already have, pay $25,000 for two weeks of job training.  It won't interfere with other functions.

Piloting (P):  You are capable of flying & battling using ships, whereas non-pilots can only use mobile suits and gundams.  A pilot may also sell his/her services for a price he/she sets.

Engineering (E):  You are capable of designing ships and bases, as well as building them.  You can add on extra parts, whereas non-engineers can't.  An engineer may sell his/her services for a price he/she sets.

Selling (S):  You are able to run a store and set your own prices for the items you want, buying the items from the Supply Depots.  Where you see the Merchant's Price:  $__,___ is what you have to pay to put one of that item into your store.  You may get TWO items a week for yourself from your shop a week (so that you may not abuse this power), but must buy everything else from other shops, and if none are available, double the merchant price.  Also, the supplies will get to your store as quickly as possible from the nearest Resource Satellite.

How to Customize your Gundam

1.    Buy the items you want your Gundam to use.

2.    Tell me where you want those items used.  For example, you might want to put your Jet Pack in Backpack Slots 1 & 2.

How to Customize your Base or Ship

1.    Have the Engineering skill, be at a resource satellite, or be at your base world (where those speedy repairs are).

2.    Get the add-ons for your base or ship.

3.    Tell me which one to add it on, and that's it!

Battle

1.    The battle type is declared by the challenger:  Duel or Ambush.  If the battle is an ambush, then the ambusher goes first automatically.  If it is a duel, you must challenge your opponent to fight, and if they accept, then you may fight.  Either way, let the attacked know by email & post it as the first message on the board, unless you can't and want to do it by email.  You battle using the message board, unless it's down, in which case you use email and forward all the events in the battle in an email, like the last message in a constant reply chain.

2.    List your current stats & configuration on the message board (or email).

3.    At the start of the battle, take the highest Gundam/Mobile Suit's speed stat.  This is the determiner for whether or not you may move.  Then add both player's speeds to it, under separate parts.  At the start, if it's a match on speed, the challenger goes first unless they're courteous and want you to.  In this case the first gets one extra speed point temporarily.  When your number goes above or reaches the determiner, then attack, and then subract the determiner from the number.  If both go above the determiner or reach it, then the one with a greater number goes.  If, due to a special form, one gundam double the determiner or greater, then it gets an extra round after the opponent.

EX:  One Gundam has 1000 speed and the other has 950.  For 1000: 1000-1000=0 ->Go, 1000-950=50 ->Wait.

4.    At the beginning of your turn, your power goes up by the generator rating.  The power can't go above the set max.  Also, your current friction stat is halved.  The lower your friction, the better.

5.    Use your weapon, and do what the weapon's description tells you to do.  Your round's over.  If your or your opponent's friction goes over the max, then multiply the excess friction by 5, and take that from the HP.

6.    After both players have had all their rounds designated as the number says, then subtract the determiner from the speed numbers greater than or equal to it, then add your current speed again to get the new number.  Now the 950 gets to go first, and the 1000 second, whereas 950 didn't get to go last round.  KEEP TRACK OF THESE STATS.  1000 is equal to 1000, so it goes down to 0, while the 950 stays at 950.  After the next round, the 950 goes up to 1900, which gets reduced back down to 900 after that round.

7.    When one Gundam's HP goes under or meets 0, they're out and have lost.  EmaiI me that you have done a battle, and then I'll email the winner asking what they'll do with their winnings.  The winnings are a set amount of money, which is just added in, and a certain amount of stats to distribute.  If a base or ship is destroyed in the battle by a weapon that says "Capable of destroying ships and bases", that ship or base is disabled for 2 weeks to get the pieces together.  After that the ship or base will heal and function.

What do bases do?

Bases allow you to repair more quickly than normal if you are allowed there.  They allow you to store team items and suits there, and stores may also be attached.  To learn more about the repairing qualities of a base,  go to the repairing section.

How do I repair?

You start to repair as soon as a battle is over.  Each day 1/6 of your original HP gets added back to your stats.  In bases, the shown Recovery Factor is how much is added back.  In a ship 1/5 of it is added back.

How do I travel?

You can travel without a ship, but whenever you enter a planet (not a resource satellite), you lose 1/3 of your HP due to re-entry.  Ships don't experience this effect.  Also, only ships can handle hyperspace.  No gundam may enter hyperspace without a ship.  However, a pilot may sell his service.  Then you may travel through hyperspace.

What happens in a tournament?

A tournament is a series of battles in which eventually one person comes out victorious.  The tournament holder may set up their own rules for the tournament, its prizes, and its qualifications.  Regular winnings will also be awarded.  Tournament participators are instantly healed and also refueled and reammoed back to their original levels.  The tournament holder does not have to pay for the repairs, just the prizes.

What can I do with my stat earnings?

Your stats may be distributed among all of your gundams, ships, and bases.  Any mobile suits that aren't gundams may not be upgraded.  If you had a base and a gundam, and your gundam won a battle, you could put all of the stats on your base.

What can teams do as a whole?

If a team has an official seller who may sell, for each seller the team may buy 2 items at a discount price for the team.  The team may have its own store(s) in this case.  Teams may have their own tournaments if they have at least 6 people in the team.  The team may own items that no one of the team owns themself.

How can I find my own colony?

First, you need to rent or possess a ship.  Then you must rent or buy all of the needed equipment, like the jump engines and the search room.  Then you need to pay the amount that the base costs (you can buy it for yourself as one of your two items at merchant price) to find your own colony, build a resource station, and put a base on it, which makes it yours.  A resource satellite and hyperspace portal will be set up when you find your own colony.  There may be more planets in the area, but until you place your own base on them, they are up for grabs.  You may name any colonies you find.  The process takes one week.

What does "Good for slicing bases and ships open" mean to me?

These weapons are specially able to cut things open, so they deal double damage to bases and ships.  "Capable of destruction" means that if that weapon takes out anything, that something out of play for 2 weeks, then starts to repair.
