Saigo exited towards the bridge, escorted by the foreign minister and his guards. Soon, he was at the end of the bridge again on the Order side, ready to return to the Brotherhood. "Cooperation is vital to our civilized societies. The more we cooperate, the less we need worry from the continents to the west. Once the bridge is complete, I invite you to send a representative to the Brotherhood, so that we may discuss trade and security." Saigo nodded his head slightly, signifying his exit.

Saigo watched his counterpart with a focused expression - but, relented, as it it seemed The Order was capable of cleaning up its own mess. "When you do, please deal with him harshly. Sabotage is a very serious crime." He sipped his tea to gain a moment of thought, reflecting on how quickly the foreign minister offered to repair the bridge, without even being asked. Perhaps the government itself was responsible. "How very generous. Send for your engineers at once, I will supervise this construction myself. It is important that our people trade openly, so that our continents may live in peace." With that, Saigo stood and extended his hand to the representative, returning the earlier courtesy.

Saigo's eyes had watched the spectacle with a rehearsed unimpressed look - but it seemed that this society was as advanced as the rumors foretold. He walked inside the domed house confidently, looking at the diplomat with a calmed expression - but underlying it, an accent of suspicion could be detected. He lifted the tea to his lips, drinking and closing his eyes as he described the saboteur. "Approximately 2 meters high, covered in head to toe in a grey gunmetal armor. There are no reports of anyone meeting this description before or after the incident, so we're assuming he came from another continent." He opened his eyes, "The checkpoint guards tried to intercede, but the quality of his armor permitted him to escape without injury. Lacking this technology, we again presume he is from a foreign area. Finally, to maneuver in the water in armor is no easy feat without the benefit of technology, which has led us to believe this person has originated from The Order, perhaps a vagabond or thief. Sabotaging infrastructure is a serious crime, and he would be as much of a danger to our continent as he is to yours. Do you have any relevant reports on the day of this incident? Theft of military equipment, political unrest?"

"I am Captain Saigo of the Navy of the Greater Japanese Empire, here representing the interests of the Brotherhood." Saigo nodded his head slightly, a graceful yet traditional response to his interlocutor's cultural sensitivity. As he did, he looked at the armor of his associate. Visible, gaudy and red. Was this man a tribal warrior? Perhaps rumors of the south's industrialization were also exaggerated. This must be investigated further. He rose. "According to two witnesses," Saigo started, gesturing towards the Brotherhood side, "An armored man originating from the water sabotaged the bridge a few weeks ago. After causing this damage, he fled back into the water. We are unsure of his identity and request cooperation from the Order's authorities in order to investigate this matter - as well as discuss it's repair." Saigo's voice was neutral, showing a levity that betrayed the accusation the witness made only minutes ago. "Perhaps there is somewhere more suitable we can discuss these matters," Saigo continued, gesturing to the Order's continent.

Rumors of the bridge's demise had been greatly exaggerated. Saigo crouched, inspected the damage. It was a good hole, a clean break in the midst of the bridge making vehicle travel quite impossible. Flanking Saigo were the two witnesses, knights managing the checkpoint on the Brotherhood side. "And you're sure it was someone from the Order?" Saigo challenged, not breaking his focus from the hole. "Uh.. well, it was a guy covered in armor. He fled into the water. We didn't get a good look," one knight said, scratching his head. "I saw him do it though. Swiped him with my claymore. But it did nothing. Brotherhood doesn't have armor like that." Saigo nodded absently, then looked up. "Well in any case, it was not done by us. Clearly, whoever is liable has to be held responsible. We must get in contact with The Order." The knight's face became more alarmed. "I will take care of it myself. For now, cordon off the damaged area and reopen pedestrian traffic on the undamaged areas. We'll have to continue to ban mechanized traffic and horses." Saigo got up and the knights walked away. He looked to the far side, the side of the Order. There, similarly, two men in armor held a checkpoint. Their movements were jarring, mechanical and robotic. A rifle rested in their hands, the hilt of a combat knife visible. Saigo moved forward, capturing their attention. Their monoeyes turned to see him. His pistol laid in its holster, his dirk sheathed, and his rifle strung around his back. "The Brotherhood desires to speak to someone with authority. Relay this message at once."

The Doctor smiled wide at his assortment of equipment. He carried one satchel, one sandwich in a bag halfed at the center - diagonal of course - a notebook, one sonic screwdriver and one slightly psychic paper. Yes, it was a good day for a hunt and he was now well prepared. The Doctor picked up his satchel from the Huntsman shop's counter. But not before buying one last thing. "Oh. And that right there, please," the Doctor said with a smile. The Doctor carried his items in obvious pride, striding through the streets of the Order on his way to the surrounding forest. In front of him, a commotion seemed to be happening. The Doctor increased his pace, alarmed by the noises. The breaking of glass, strange gurgling sounds, and what sounded like Notorious B.I.G.'s 1995 hit, "Big Poppa." Three magni slime were ransacking a local electronics store. These creatures were a clean four meters tall, covered in various keys, cans of pop, paperflips, and increasingly a few televisions. Well, the good doctor couldn't just be indifferent to this illegality happening in the Order's territory. "You there! Stop right now!" The Doctor chirped out. The three red creatures turned in his direction, two bearing the masks of a woman and a third with that of a little boy. They started sliding towards him in unison, the boy flanked by the woean. It was at that point that The Doctor realized how large these creatures really were. Maybe it was a bit out of his league. The doctor walked back a few paces.. and then a few more.. and then broke into a run, running into the adjacent parking lot. Before he knew it, the red boy amoeba was in front of him. He turned around to make an exit, but the other two had blocked his escape. These things were remarkably agile for being so huge. Then, with a jittering in his coat, the sonic screwdriver broke free, embedding itself into the boy's slime. Oh dear. The creatures closed. Was this the end of the Doc? "Get down!" With a loud revving of an engine, a silhouetted figure entered the scene - jumping off a dumpster on a motorcycle and eclipsing the sun for a few brief, slow-mo seconds. The three magni slime turned again, and The Doc hit the floor. With a deliberate push, the nose of the motorcycle tipped down and the tell-tale sounds of a three-barrel machinegun erupted. Boosted by their magnetic properties, a stream of bullets ripped through the magni, sticking into them - one hitting the lady straight between the eyes. Of her mask. Rock Katai landed, skidding across the parking lot and landing in front of the Doctor. The Doctor hopped onto the back, and Rock Katai revved the engine. Hitting full acceleration, the two sped forward, crashing through a lady slime, Doc losing his sachel and sandwich in the process. But gripped tightly in his hands, he had regained the screwdriver. Covered in red goo, the two rounded about again, letting lose a fury of bullets into the other lady slime, and crashing through her. The boy slime appeared at their side though, tackling the duo and grabbing onto the motorcycle with great force. The motorcycle was absorbing into his body. Rock Katai and The Doctor acted quickly, dismounting - the screwdriver tugging dearly at the Doc's hand. The other two slimes had recovered and once again blocked their escape. The Doctor's tweed jacket linked with Rock Katai's green shirt, the two raising up their fists - back to back. Rock's eyes were on the wounded slime with the marred mask, who was visibly stumbling. Well, as much as a slime could stumble. "The masks! Go for the masks!" Katai yelled. The two charged at the slimes, Rock Katai jumping high into the air and connecting his fist with the already wounded lady slime. The mask shattered, causing the slime to erupt with a low rumbling sound and sink to the ground. The Doctor attempted the same move - only to have his fist swing harmlessly a few feet below the boy mask. He stumbled straight into the slime. A very dangerous move to make. "Doc!" Katai screamed. The slime pulsed forward, expecting this move and knocking Rock to the ground. Soon the slime was almost upon him. Rock gritted his teeth, looking around for anything he could use, but it was fruitless. Would the hunters become the hunted? But then it froze. And erupted, into a fountain of red goo, bullets, and flame - its mask shattering. Rock's mouth hung open at the sinking slime, revealing the Doctor atop the Armed Motorcycle, smoke trailing from the barrels and a ranged lighter's flame decreasing in size until it was again a sonic screwdriver. The Doctor was visibly crippled, but a smile hung on his face. The other slime slid away in fear, moving quickly through the streets of the Order and back into the outskirts. The Doctor dismounted the motorcycle and helped Rock Katai to his feet. The Doctor pulled his psychic paper out of the goo, wiping it off - but the satchel and sandwich were ruined. The sun was setting and the two prepared to say their goodbyes. "Thanks for the save, Doc. That was a hell of a move," Rock Katai beamed. "Don't forget, you saved me too!" the Doctor returned. "I do have one question though." "Yes?" "What's that on your head?" "Oh this?" the Doctor said with a smile. He took the item off his head and held it in his hands. "I wear pith helmets now. Pith helmets are cool." Outcome: Hunt Successful The Doctor: 5 EXP, Crippled Rock Katai: 5 EXP, Wounded

The forests around the village of Faust were a flurry of activity. Birds took to the air. Mice scurried in fear. Possums played dead. The gargantuan monstrosity known as 'Rando' trampled through, flanked by his two underlings, the even larger Manbearbig, whose steps thundered through the normally peaceful forest, and trailing them both - at about half their size - Bovril the Lizardman. Bovril had been gripping a knife in his hands nervously. He had just left the pack of the Lizardmen and now here he was in another one. Granted, they were much larger and more powerful than the last, but a pack was a pack. He wondered how much loot he'd be able to fight away from these mutants, or if he'd have to leave again. Faust was a quiet village and it should be easy to take. Besides, everyone in Faust was a vegetarian. Except Toriko. Toriko hung upside down on the high branches of a tree in front of the group, hidden. The long strides of Rando and Manbearpig outpaced Bovril, who was too caught up in his own thoughts to notice he'd fallen behind. Maybe Toriko couldn't take down one of those giant invaders, but Bovril was something his own size. Excitement pulsed through his veins. A Baron Fang was clenched in his teeth as he held another in his hands. The meat was already in his belly, giving him the energy for this hunt. It was time. Taking both fangs in his hands, Toriko fell upon Bovril like a silent lightning bolt. The fangs dug into his back, causing the Lizardmen to spit up blood. Bovril turned, instinctively slashing at Toriko with the knife in his hands, cutting his cheek as Toriko hopped back. Then, Bovril stabbed at him with his knife. Another hop got Toriko out of danger, until the knife erupted into a spear, piercing Toriko through the chest. Grasping both fangs around the spear, he pulled it out and parried the weapon, knocking both the fangs and retractable spear to the ground. But Toriko wasn't out of weapons. One hand made a claw gesture, while the other was a karate chop - the 'Fork' and the 'Knife'. He pinned the spear to the ground with the Fork, while at the same time driving forward and striking Bovril with the Knife. Another spout of blood splashed into Toriko's face. But Bovril was no ordinary fighter. Grasping one of the fallen Baron Fangs with his foot, Bovril stabbed into Toriko's arm, causing the Fork to flinch. Dropping the Fang and kicking up his spear with great dexterity, Bovril slashed at Toriko - only to be blocked by the quick acquisition of the fallen Fang. Bovril attacked him with a flurry of strikes, only to be blocked in succession as Toriko walked back. Before Toriko knew it, he had fallen over a root and tripped, knocking himself out. The Lizardmen, recognizing his predicament, limped forward to the last direction of his two allies. A trail of blood followed him all the way there - from Bovril, to his unfortunate ambusher. Outcome: Draw Toriko: 5 EXP, Wounded Bovril: 5 EXP, Wounded

A captain already. It had been a few weeks since his arrival to this strange country of Thracs, but already so much had happened. He had infiltrated the 'Brotherhood' faction already. He had fought various wild animals along with a compatriot, the commander Hikaru Striker. He had crafted two weapons now worn constantly at his side: a mock up of his Imperial dirk, and a standard Nambu pistol forged from scrap metal and gunpowder made from scratch. But today, he had crafted the most important weapon in his arsenal. His white naval uniform. The cotton held up well to his ironing, especially having been worn by a sheep no earlier this morning. He heated a steel hammer over a fire, pouring water over it and pressing to the seams. His workmanship was immaculate, for there could be no errors in such an important asset. He ironed the corners deliberately, confidently, mastering his internal discipline and expressing it through his attention to his appearance. Brotherhood. He had heard this word before. Mostly out of the words of communists, and other leftists. In all his studies of the west, he had not heard of a country like this so. This faction likely had many natural resources to offer the Emperor, but having no firearms or industrialization of any kind made Saigo weary. Sweat gathered at his brow, so he stopped temporarily, dabbing at it with a towel. What troubled him greater though, was that this was not the only country. Nor the most advanced. Rumors had circulated that a metallic man had destroyed the bridge to the south. And beyond that, a large military force with firearms, mechanical soldiers, and areogyros lived. Were they aligned to the Allies or to the Axis? He had no way of knowing. But one thing was for sure, if they conquered the Brotherhood before the Navy came to his rescue, the potential resources would be completely lost. Saigo pulled on the uniform, paying particular attention to his buttons, pulling the material tight to his body. A perfect fit. With a final touch, he placed his cap delicately on his head, the brass Imperial Chrysanthemum evident upon it. It was time to socialize with his... "comrades."

The shining capital of the Order was out in full force today. Denizens milled around the metallic corridors, going about their business between regular patrols of assault rifled soldiers. There was, order. Swimming in this mill was an acolyte only known as 'The Doctor'. Rumors were he assaulted the commanding officer. Though, no one had heard of any retribution. Another rumor said he fancied himself a 'time lord.' But in this kind of place, everyone was. But only one of them had a bowtie. CD-1001's head swiveled at the scene before him. Since coming to the other, he had met other drones, other people. But nothing like himself. No sign of his creators. He had been diligently recording data of the environment around him, but had completely failed to send it back to his masters. This violation of his prime directive continuously weighed upon him. He needed to leave. "Let's go!" That man had placed a waist level table before him. CD-1001 was startled, hitting everything with a general scan. "Go. You've never heard of it? I assure you, it's quite full of strategy," The Doctor added with a warm, hopeful smile. His anticipation was visible. But the only response he received was the cold winding of gears. The smile gradually turned into a frown. "Very well, how about a riddle?" The drone's head perked up. "Riddle?" a monotonous voice responded. In nodded in interest. "When traveling to a destination, you must get half way there before getting there. And a quarter of the way before half. And an eight before a quarter. Repeating. So how can you ever move, if that which is in locomotion must arrive at the half-way stage before it arrives at the goal?" CD-1001 rolled through his extensive libraries, arriving at the first answer. "According to Diogenes, as related by Simplicius..." he started. And stopped. And then slowly, CD-1001 walked away. The Doctor sighed. Outcome: CD-1001 wins. The Doctor: 5 EXP, Wounded CD-1001: 5 EXP, Wounded
