about 15 minutes later Hildefons strutted out from the between the guards, his armor gleaming, immaculately cleaned. "It's a pleasure to met you Saigo, i believe." Hildefons said with a short bow acknowledging the man's culture and authority. "I am Hildefons Whetstone, foreign affairs. I believe you are here about the bridge damage you were inspecting?" Hildefons was guarded, revealing nothing but friendliness and sincerity to the man he was in front of, he was a man of masks. His role as a diplomat required such discretion and he betrayed none of his feeling on his face or body. The soldiers had relayed Saigo's inspection when it had first started and Hildefons had used the time to prepare for his interaction, with a study of japanese culture.

Okay since this is a neutral site for the community and it has a contact list figured i'd draw attention to it. Just an easy way for us to contact each other if you want to fight off a horde together, see who'd gonna be in a game, or simply talk with someone long ago. to that end, those of you on planet zebes (which i've heard is closing down) you want your contact info put on this site? of course, new people not on planet zebes are also welcome (like me!)

A low growl came from the forest, almost like a purr from the trees themselves; Hikaru eyed the forest around him cautiously, slowly activating his light-saber, its low hum mixing with the sounds around him as he switched it from hand to hand in time with the creature’s movements, a leaf rustle here, a glimpse elsewhere. He was being stalked, Hikaru knew this, something was looking for a blind spot and he was not about to let it have its way. Hikaru’s eyes focused as something flew through the air behind him; he ducked and watched as the creature disappeared into the growth on the other side of him. This was a losing battle, Hikaru thought, as he took off running. If Hikaru could just find a more suitable battleground, if he could make it there, this would be over quickly. Abruptly, Hikaru found a pine copse, instead of dense foliage pine needles and dirt littered the ground, this was suitable. There was a wide swath of open ground here, the pine trees had blotted out the sun, leaving the area underneath barren. Hikaru moved slowly now, carefully, the creature would have to reveal itself soon, there was nothing to hide in. Hikaru felt a sharp pain in his shoulder with the accompanying weight of a big cat; Hikaru managed to keep his footing and threw the cat off. The cat landed on its feet and slowly turned to face it’s now wounded prey, licking bits of Hikaru’s blood from its maw. It was a jaguar but, barely visible in the night air, the moon glinting off its translucent coat. Had Hikaru been a simpler man, he would have felt an unearthly fear but, he had been taught to view all things as they are. Spirit or animal, there was only way to defend himself, if he died fighting, so be it. Hikaru moved his free hand to the wound, close to an artery, too close. He had only been saved from a lethal blow by a few centimeters, maybe less. He tightened his focus; this was not a creature to be trifled with. The being, the Barrow-guide, Hikaru remembered was a creature commonly talked about in hushed tones to children of the Brotherhood, it was a creature merchants feared and now, it was staring Hikaru eyes to its glowing eyes. He could barely see it, but managed to follow its movements so it couldn’t get behind him once more, the creature was growing impatient it had tasted meat and it wanted its meal. The Barrow-guide jumped at Hikaru, from his weak and wounded side, quickly dodging his light-saber flashed through the night air but, it met no flesh nor did he have a new wound of his own but, his eyes widened as he searched for the large cat, he had lost sight of it, and in his wounded state that would spell death. Finally he spotted it; it was lying on the ground, a large rodent in its limbs flailing wildly as the Barrow-guide’s jaws clamped down on its throat slowly suffocating it. It had found less challenging prey. It stared into Hikaru’s eyes communicating it no longer had interest in him, but would not die for his retribution. Hikaru de-activated his light saber, not willing to kill the being in its vulnerable state, it had sated his hunger and killing it out of pride or fear was not honorable, to him, it wasn’t right. Outcome: Hunt Successful Hikaru: 5 EXP, Wounded

"Yeah, and I'm sure you got away scott free" Nike said taking another few gulps from the bottle. "Then they made you king right?" "Don't forget the harem of beautiful women." Tael retorted taking the bottle from Nike and taking a few gulps himself. they both laughed heartily at the comment, Tael and Nike had made it a habit to gather together when their duties allowed, and sometimes when it didn't and have a few drinks. They were both from military backgrounds so having good times any time they were able felt natural, one or the other would show up with a bottle of some intoxicated plop down and they would trade drinks until they met the bottom. "Next time you'll have to tell me the story about how you got kicked in the nads from that Doctor guy." Nike said, leaning back in her chair. "Don't remind me, that hurt like hell." Tael smiled back

A small group of tragnix huddled in a field just outside the edge of a forest, alert from the recent killings of others in the area; they were stalked from afar by a Japanese Sailor called Saigo. One would think it would be best to hunt with a rifle, a bow or even a spear but, Saigo had chosen a standard hand gun. Saigo cursed as a twig broke, revealing his presence to the group, Said fired continuously at the now running herd, but at a distance, the handgun was not hitting anything. As Saigo gave chase one of the Tragnix turned to face him, a tall stately Stag with tenuous muscle underneath the sagging skin. The beast stared the attacker determined to defend his family. The Tragnix charged Saigo, more hoping to buy time and dissuade him from further pursuit; it wasn’t bloodthirsty, not yet. Saigo fired a few round before the deer could close the distance, not being able to hit a moving target so fast under such pressure. The Tragnix quickly tackled Saigo; the surprised sailor dropped his pistol as he was sent to the ground. The Tragnix pinned Saigo as he drew his knife, it plunged into the creature’s side as it shrieked in pain, turning its head towards the weapon, as it did, its eyes widened. It noticed the subtle texture of its own kind and duty, turned to rage. This was a hunter eliminating his kind for trophies not territory, not survival, not territory, but fun. The Tragnix turned from a beast driven to protect to one driven to kill, goring Saigo with his horns and stamping him with its hooves, while Saigo stabbed furiously in an attempt to survive. Finally after minutes that seemed like hours, the Tragnix slumped over on top of the wounded Saigo, life flowing from its veins. Laboriously Saigo shoved the beast, heavy with death off of him, cursing under his breath. Outcome: Hunt Successful Saigo: 5EXP, Wounded, Tragnix Antler gained

"I say, this is quite the muck." Cho'Gath remarked adjusting his monocle. "I dare say any meal I might find in this soupy bog may be a bit too lipidic for my health" he chuckled a nasally laugh. The creature wondered through the swamp, after live prey, for the hunt and it was quite the sporting outing for the being. "What wonders; what fellow would traverse this dreadful swamp just to clip a hedge or two?" He remarked at some hedges that looked in the shape of armadillos and was nearly as large as an average human. "Whomever this artistic individual is, I salute your dedication to culture, cheers." His attention jumped a few bares as his stately posture stiffened in attention as one of the hedges started to move, his eyes turned to focus as he counted the creatures, three in total. He snarled slightly as spittle began forming around his jowls, the things looked appetizing. sensing his focus the creature's slowly made their way away from the terrifying monster that moved toward them, pincers gnashing and jaws lubricated with thick saliva. the creatures thought they were out of reach but, they were not so fortunate. spikes sprouted from their safe haven, eviscerating them from their holds but, still the creatures held on their impressive grip cementing them to their trees, their hides leaking blood, the smell antagonizing the one who just moments ago was engaged in witty banter with himself. Spikes flew in from Cho'Gath further eviscerating the animals as their screeches wet his appetite, it was not long until two of them fell from their perches, their legs still attached, as if glued to the trees from which they fell. Cho'Gath wasted no time in scooping up his prize, messily devouring the creatures whole, he savored the feel of the being sliding down his throat in a guttural enjoyment that could hardly be matched by any other carnal pleasure. Sated, Cho'Gath whipped out a handkerchief and lightly dabbed his mandibles. "Oh my, that was rather unsightly, I should endeavor to be more polite in my feeding." He said regaining his stiff posture and adjusting his monocle yet again. "I must remember my manners, perhaps serve them on a plate of fine china coupled with a sweet Shiraz, ah yes that would be just the spot." The creature humbly walked back whence he came quietly chuckling as he contemplated life, science ,and fine cheese. Outcome: Hunt successful Gentleman Cho'Gath: 5 EXP, Wounded
