"There is no time to waste. I will return to the Brotherhood at once, to inform my commander and prepare our forces." Saigo stood, held Avaria's gaze, bowed at a 45 degree angle, then turned, and left the structure with his men in tow.

Saigo narrowed his eyes. This talk of reality, portals and space time was all very theoretical to him, and he dismissed it as superstition and un-enlightened nativism. It seemed like the Order was as traditional as he thought. The disappearence of personnel was something else entirely. The idea of a powerful hidden weapon drew his interest; however, it sounded very much like the scouting parties were ambushed and killed. He would need more leverage from this 'Avaria'. "I believe this would be another great opportunity for the Brotherhood to join the Order in mutual cooperation for mutual benefit, over the western barbarians. Perhaps together, we can lead this scouting party, and solve the mystery of this.. motherrode."

The sound of trees falling could be heard in the forest. Birds took to the air and leaves rustled, floating to the ground. Thumps resonated through the ground, getting closer.. closer. Crash! The monstrosity Rando erupted out of the trees, yelling while putting his muscular, gargantuan arms into the air. He sent them down, gripping another tree, raising it above his head, and throwing it at his unfortunate opponent. Manbearpig roared, swiping his claw through the log, sending splinters in all directions. His face was that of a warhog, with the hair of a bear, the ears of a man and the snout of a pig. The splinters dug into his arms, spilling blood and causing it to course down to his hands. His yellow eyes glowed, and he roared again - the forest shaking as he did. His arms became bridled with energy, his legs rooted into the ground. A boulder sailed through the air - and Manbearpig through both his arms forward, knocking it back to its origin. The boulder caught Rando in the chest, knocking him to the ground. He grabbed two trees to support his considerable weight, and got to his feet again. It was vital that he kept Manbearpig at a distance, lest he suffer his venomous claws. But it was too late. Manbearbig's gnashing jaws and swinging arm were already in melee range. Rando punched him in the chest, and Manbearpig slashed across Rando's face. Rando's two big arms seized Manbearpig, and the chimera's jaws clamped around Rando's bicep. The pain was incredible - not just from the teeth, but from the venom now coursing through Rando's veins. Rando tried to throw the creature back into far range, but his strength was sapping.. He tossed him a good number of meters, but the pig-creature was quick to his feet. In no time he was upon Rando, clawing at his body and biting with wild abandon. Rando continued to fight back.. but he was getting so tired. Eventually, the frenzy was too much, and Rando passed out. Triumphant over his enemy, the Manbearpig roared into the air, three times - his own blood pooling at his feet. Outcome: Manbearpig Wins Rando: 10EXP, Wounded Manbearpig: 10EXP, Wounded

Saigo nodded to the woman, and entered the structure, still accompanied by his men. Since he'd entered the Order, all he had seen of officers had been women. This novelty made him curious; perhaps their techonology was incredible, but their militant spirit was woefully underdeveloped. Then again, the reach of the Emperor had not yet honored these lands. Not yet, anyway. "Commander Avaria. It is a pleasure to finally meet you."

Saigo walked among the Order's workers, tailed by small group of men in khaki. His white uniform was luminescent in the mid-day sun. Visible on the sleeves of the men was a very vivid Imperial Chrysanthemum, and pistols holstered at their waist. The cultivation of Saigo's faction went well. Though their faces were a mix of races, their demeanor was undoubtedly trained in Japanese etiquette. At times, he would point his sheathed dirk at a place here or there, inquiring about the methods of construction. The workers would explain quickly with an inquisitive look, as if there was no way Saigo would understand. But Saigo was patient, and devoted to the cause of Rangaku; western study. As the men explained, he would instruct one of his men to copy down words and diagrams in a notebook. Then, just as quickly, he would move on. It was a productive day, full of learning and Saigo was pleased. He looked forward to taking a hunt in the forests perhaps later, when the sun was lower. One of his man called to him - a few butchered words in Japanese - and he looked up. His intermediary had arrived. Saigo walked forward with a confident stride, his men flanked around him. He extended his hand to greet the new representative. "I am Captain Saigo of the Navy of the Greater Japanese Empire, here on behalf of the Brotherhood. I spoke earlier with your associate, a Miss.. Hirderfrons Whetstone? And you are?"

The captain of the BIAS looked at the scene of fury before him. The Admin Union had finally located the Player’s headquarters, #rpg, and had sent the most elite of its troops, #staff, to bring the rebels to their knees. It was a duty many of the troops were eager to accomplish, especially after Troika's arrogant declaration to the world months before. The air around the battleships was filled with corrosion ratios as moderators launched from numerous battleships. Sensors began picking up deployments from several sites around the perimeter of the crashed Bullseye-class carrier’s resting site. This had been expected thanks to the reconnaissance the Strikey had performed prior to the rpg’s dissolution and missiles began down on those sites. "Problems? What problems?" Troika mused, banning a tumbleweed as it passed before him. The group sat on a rickshaw, fanning each other as Strikey pulled them, grunting under their combined weight. Vlad, Troika, Nihachi and Frenzy grunted in impatience. "Faster!" Frenzy said, cracking a whip. "We have to update faster!" But it was of no use. Strikey dropped the handles, tossing all of them to the ground. It was time for his siesta. "Useless!" Troika bellowed, banning him before he hit the ground. "Everyadmin, Charge!" A dust cloud gathered behind them as they rushed forward with their spears, charging the lines of the #rpg forest. But before they even got close, an arrow buried itself in Nihachi's neck. Alex and Kuriboh fired their arrows in tandem, catching Nihachi in the torso and arms. Vlad held up Nihachi's body in front of Troika and Frenzy, protecting them from the attack. "GERONIMO!" A voice yelled from the sky, its hijab fluttering in the wind. Anastasia swan dived out of a hot air balloon, fastly approaching the ground in a totally halal way. "Feel the power of a thousand kicks!" she yelped, connecting with Vlad's face in a Liu Kang bicycle kick. The relentless assault pushed him back, knocking him into the upturned rickshaw, breaking it into splinters. As she stood victorious over his body, she commented, "But I still want to be friends." Meanwhile, Troika and Frenzy flamethrowered the forest. Alex and Kuriboh were immolated, as the animals rose out to meet their aggressors. Chief among them was blackmage, overhanding two tightly wrapped balls of feces into Frenzy's face. The flames connected with the projectiles, causing the dirty bombs to explode, raining poop everywhere. Everypony fled in all direction as the chaos took a new level, morphing into a hurricane of sewage. Out from the clouds emerged the face of Draco, spewing a rainbow of friendship directly onto Troika. He screamed, the light penetrating his body and fagging up his system. A cloud of fog rolled through and Troika glowed - evolving. When the smoke cleared, he was already kissing Frenzy. And try as he could to rewrite it, Frenzy could not deny this was his heart's desire. Outcome: Zepp

The captain of the Naglfar looked at the scene of fury before him. The Earth Union had finally located the ZAFT Continuation Army’s headquarters, Rishonim, and had sent the most elite of its troops, EDGE, to bring the rebels to their knees. It was a duty many of the troops were eager to accomplish, especially after General Morino’s arrogant declaration to the world months before. The air around the battleships was filled with GN particles as mobile suits launched from numerous battleships. Sensors began picking up deployments from several sites around the perimeter of the crashed Gondwana-class carrier’s resting site. This had been expected thanks to the reconnaissance the White Griphons had performed prior to the team’s dissolution and missiles began down on those sites. "Oh my god!" someone shouted. "Those aren't mobile suits!" "They're... wait, where is everyone?" Roland Hauser said, confused. Out of Rishonim rose nothing. "Oh right, they quit." Outcome: Victory?

His loincloth fluttered in the wind, as the battlefield fell silent. "Retreat! Everyone retreat!" Roland ordered. "It's an ambush!" "Are you insane?" Thomas Veidt said, flinching. "You didn't actually order us to-" But it was not to be. A flying battleaxe cut through Thomas' mobile suit, slamming into his gullet. The battleships began dropping like rain as Ketara leapt into the air, knocking each down with one fell punch. Mobile suits fled in all directions, but it was of no use. They were wiped out to the last man. And the last man was Roland Hauser. Ketara ripped into the Cherubium, bare naked, pulling Roland out of his cockpit and sticking his tongue in his mouth. Later, Thomas Veidt was given a medal for exemplary living despite being dead. Outcome: OYW6 |

They waved their flanks menacingly at the war machines flying above them, mocking them. "We'll have to land all units and hug them with our corrosion ratios!" Roland ordered. "It's the only honorable thing to do!" "No, I will hug them from the sky!" Thomas Veidt said, shooting his arms out like a Megazord. "You didn't actually order us to land!" "Oh, okay," Roland said. "Everyone, hug the ponies! Release the Automatons too!" The battleships began dropping Automatons like rain as the assembled mobile weapon force began hugging all the pretty ponies. With each hug, dozens of ponies giggled with delight before the robots got to them. The mostly-hugged ponies were hugged even more as their bodies, unhugged or hugged, were riddled with friendship as the Automatons marched past them and into the base itself. Later, Thomas Veidt was given a medal for exemplary hugging despite somehow losing five Guyanas against what turned out to be a bunch of parasprites. Outcome: Magic! |

The old, dilapidated fluorescent lights blinked on and off. Commanding Officer Tael Avaria, leader of the Order, was amazed they worked at all. Striker's old headquarters had been abandoned ever since his defection, and had been subject to countless acts of vandalism. Well, vandalism was a strong word. To improve the esprit de corps, this kind of vandalism was encouraged. Tael walked through the overturned desks, the scattered papers, broken analog monitors for computers - wires reaching out to nowhere. Many things had been looted, and what couldn't be simply destroyed. Tael wanted to find out more about his predecessor, and what place could offer more knowledge than this. He crouched to inspect the papers. They were stained, yellowed and deteriorating. "CAPITAL CITY SECURE, REBELS WIPED OUT OR INCORPORATED INTO ORDER. DISTINCT CULTURES ON ISLANDS TO NORTH AND WEST. SEE NO NEED TO EXPAND FURTHER. STILL NO WAY HOME. - STRIKER" He smiled to himself, remembering that the responsibilities in his every day life were once the primary concerns of this defector. The lights flickered again. Tael put down the paper, moving further into the headquarters. He passed through two swinging doors labeled 'I C U'. A few stretchers were laid about, empty IV bags with dangling strings next to them. Light stains of blood in some areas. Broken medical equipment. In the back of the room, the hum of an old analog computer could be heard; the green text over a black background gave an eerie constant green glow. Tael walked towards it, moving aside some stretchers with his armored hands. He tried to access the terminal remotely.. but it was too old. He got up close, and noticed it was blinking. As he got to the desk, the image on the screen made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. "HELLO TAEL." The lights snapped off. He was compromised. He couldn't see a thing. In his blindness he reached around for the desk, feeling the monitor, orienting himself. As well, he felt as if he was being watched. He couldn't hear anything.. perhaps on the infared. He held a hand to his helmet as the switched the mode on. Spiders. Hundreds of them. On the floor, on the walls, on the ceiling. On the desk. On the chair. Crawling out of the computer. Crawling out of the mattresses of the stretchers. He felt a hair in his mouth. He flipped the visor up nervously, and sure enough. He grabbed a naked pink tail, tugging out the creature. There was a spider in there too. He tossed it into the ground, spitting fast and flipping the visor down again. He ran to the double doors, causing the spiders to split in fear. The heavy red infared glow made it difficult to see how many there were; just moving auras and blankets splitting and approaching. He ran through the office, and fatefully - hooked his foot on a desk, crashing to the ground. They were upon him immediately, crawling all over Tael's armor. Thankfully it was secure now, but he could feel their furry arachnid legs crawling up his own, his back, his neck. That's when he caught his next surprise. The bites. An array of tiny fangs started testing the integrity of his armor, biting him not unlike a mouse. Were these really spiders or some thing of demon? He struggled to get to his knees, more and more creatures crawling on him as he did. He'd throw one off his head and two would be up his leg. A light spider web was circulating his body, but he easily broke free. Eventually he got to standing, frantically brushing the creatures off his upper body. They were bigger than normal creatures, around the size of a fist. He gripped one in his hand, and inspected it as it bit harmlessly at his armor. A rat's head, torso, arachnid thorax, legs, a rat's tail. He felt them crawl around him.. and it was disturbing. But only in the psychological sense. He was armored well. He tossed it to the side and took a step - his eyes shooting open at the new development. Fangs dug into his flesh at his thigh, drawing blood. Soon he could feel fangs all over his body. At this, he flipped on his energy siphoning spikes and started ravenously stabbing the creatures, now recognizing them as a true threat. His body was slimy; it appeared they were vomiting some kind of phlem with quick rusting properties. He stabbed and stabbed and stabbed, and soon had six dead creatures pegged to his arms like kebabs. They started to retreat at Tael's new aggression. He extended his arm and fired an ice beam from his wrist, the bright light illuminating the room. Another from his other wrist. The creatures ran in fear. He spread the beam all over the room, coating the dilapidated office in a lamination of ice. Tael made for the exit as fast as he could, opening a door into the stairway and running up with adrenaline coursing through his veins. One story, two stories, three, four.. finally, after ten stories, sunlight peeked around the edges of the entrance. He opened it, and fell to the ground, breathing heavily. He dropped to his knees. And there, poised on his thigh, was a little Musuapusa who wouldn't let go. Outcome: Hunt successful Tael Avaria: 5 EXP, Wounded
