| "No no no no! Not the shields! Come on can't you just land?" An array of harassing lights went off simultaneousness to offer the answer of no. "Ah yes right. Turn that wheel over there for me?" The Doctor turned to his side, inside his TARDIS no one but himself filled the massive empty room. "Oh, right...forgot about that." He quietly made his way to the other side of the control panel, turning a knob and smacking a level before adjusting some dials on a TV. Noises from the center of the ship seemed to quiet down as the TARDIS materialized safely. Silence finally came as gases shot upwards through the grates of the flooring. It took awhile for the doctor to realize he was alone again. No companion. No purpose. All he could think about was heading back to Earth. Earth, Cardiff England to be specific, 20th century to make things interesting. Human kind was always so interesting, with such a limited sight of their world they still saw the universe in a way that he admired. "Right, off we go! April 1969. What should we check out? Ah yes, the Concorde flight!" He continued to mumble to himself as he headed out the door, locking it behind him. "Never seen that yet, I should give it a watch. Oh who am I kidding. I want to be on it!" With hopes raised he turned around to find unexpected surroundings. Buildings of alien design spread about with individuals wandering the paths, not all of them Human. He immediatly spotted a flying droid passing by and ran up to it. "Who are you!? There shouldn't be droids of your size for another 250 years..." With a pass of a sonic screwdriver he began examining the results on it himself as the mechanical form's audio systems announced itself. "Hello, I am COMD-13932." Spinning his sensor array around and looking back at the Doctor. "Would you like to establish a trade?" "What?" The sudden rubbing of the TARDIS's brakes grabbed his attention as it started dematerializing, traveling to another point in time. "What!?" He rushed back towards it but as he put his key in the door it simply pushed through the space where his ride had been a second ago. The droid finished his greeting, "Welcome to the planet Thracs." "WHAT!?!?" |

![]() Name:Ah, hello there! I hope I didn't interrupt something. Yes well. You might be wondering what this is I figured I'd just interrupt this little shinanigan and introduce myself! I am the Doctor! I know what you're thinking. "Oh this is absurd! You can't know when in time I would be reading this." Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey. If you'd move past such cemented ideas about time we can continue! I am the Doctor! A Time Lord from the Planet Gallifrey. One of the last remaining ones, of course I claim the title of the last living Time Lord since all the others are, well dead. And time locked into that unfortunate fate. There is hope, I mean I have met other Time Lords since then but that is enough about my kind. All you need to know is I come from a very old and powerful civilization, and I myself am very old but still look quite dashing. You see when a time lord's end approaches we regenerate, retaining knowledge and memories but switching our physical appearance, personality, quirks...It is actually a lot more like death than one would hope for. Right, moving on from the sad bits. I am the Doctor, a time lord, what else did you want to know? I am 982 years old. I am fascinated with cultures, technology, and people I haven't met before. I detest war, death is so unnecessary. I am a thinker, I love to think, best thing in the universe is a good think. Sadly I think faster than I talk so if explaining something I can get caught up doing things before actually saying them. I wear bow ties, bow ties are cool. I also enjoy a good fez, however mine is in the TARDIS and that story is for another time, if you know where I can get one tell me. Oh that is not a good sound at all...remember that Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey part I mentioned earlier? I exagerated quite a bit and really bad things could happen from doing this for too long so I better go. Very bad things, things to be avoided. Anyways, good luck out there! |
