| Rock propped himself up against a tree, it had been a long night. After his battle with Rhinox he had crawled through the gloom, eventually find ing a raised piece of land a bit dryer than his surroundings but it wasn't the miseries of the swamp that had stretched the hours of darkness for Rock, it was the incessant muttering from inside his head, Rock considered the possibility he had gone insane, maybe ingested some unknown gas or hit his head too hard when he fell to the withered monk and acquired a demon sword. The possibility bothered Rock considerably, if he were ever able to go home how could he discern reality from whatever twisted fantasy his mind dreamed up? Or, far more frightening, what if he really was home and all this time he was in a fit a fevered madness, what if the monsters he faced were only lamp posts and parked cars, and he simply assailing them with a baseball bat, what if the people he had killed were innocents plagued by Rock, the serial killer, or worse, what if he had killed his beloved. His sword didn't help matters; Eisenschwert payed on Rock's emotions drawing similarities between those he had fought in Thracs to those he knew in real life. Threadbare similarities that is rational mind would refuse to even acknowledge, a similar shoe here, perhaps a similar hair style there. However, doubt crept in on those dismissals, what if they were true? Rock's answer would not come any easier, as his mind saw yet another feat that should be impossible approaching, a man, walked on the water and muck as if it was not there. "Surely" rock thought. "I really am insane." But even in this state, Rock's observation skills would not allow him to accept a judgment of insanity. The being wasn't walking on water but, and patches of raised dirt that, seemingly, rose to meet his feet. "Oh, that's so much better. he's not walking on water, he's moving the earth at his will, yeah you're very sane." his sword mocked from within the confines of Rock's head. "Yo!" The man said, he was a barbarian by rock's standards probably from the Brotherhood he reasoned, or with the magic steps maybe from Khaotics. He wore armor fashioned from the scales of some reptile and wore a friendly smile, one that made Rock shiver slightly...or was that the sword that shivered. "oh great, more scar tissue." the sword grumbled "I'm Enki, you look like you have a pretty strong will, wanna test it?" Enki said smiling. Without a word from Rock his sword burst from his hand and Enki, taking this to be the acceptance of his challenge jumped forward. "Faaaaalcon PAAAAWNCH!" he yelled as he came down towards Rock who, at the advice of the sword, dodged instead of countered. It was good that he had, steam and earth exploded around them sending debis a hundred feet in every direction and obliterating the one dry spot for miles. "kill him quick!" The sword urged as Rock charged forward in the soupy bog that he was becoming familiar with, however, it seemed less restrictive than before dryer, maybe it was low tide, Rock reasoned. Enki dodged the thrust spinning around to Rock's side and delivering a blow to the side of his head. His vision blurred, Rock stumbled into the dust. "Dust?" Rock thought, even for a tidal shift, there was no way it could have dust, and certainly not this early in the day. Rock tried to shake off the dizziness only to roll by instinct as a thunderous stomp cracked the dry ground by his head. Rock quickly rose to his feet as Enki watched, the man had just tried to kill him, the blow would have crushed his head this was not the time to worry about the ground's level of sponginess. However as Rock readied his blade at the man, he couldn't help but be thrown off by the beaming smile that Enki displayed, it was like a child who had just been given an ice cream, not only that was he was waiting for Rock to get his bearings, what kind of man was this? "A blood knight." The sword whispered "A what?" Rock answered aloud. "What is that?" "Nothing just kill him quick or we'll regret it." The sword said as Enki charged, low to the ground. "Jump over him, it's a uppercut." The sword spat as their enemy neared Rock, the beleaguered soldier complied with the request and avoided the punch as it sailed into the air past him with a garbled shout of "BARE KNUCKLE!!!" Rocked rolled behind Enki and in a swift motion cut into his back at waist level. Rock crouched, waiting for his opponent to react, to show some sign of pain at the obvious wound or, hopefully fall over. Instead he heard laughter as Enki turned to face Rock. "That really hurt!" He said his grin widening as he pounded his knuckles together. "Glad to see you can fight back." ---- A few hours later the two would be sitting a few yards from each other, bloodied, dirty and bruised with one of them wearing a stupid grin. "Let's do this again soon." Enki said, rising to his feet unsteadily then slapping himself in face a face a few times, with restored vigor. "You're a good opponent." Rock simply sat dumbfounded while his sword healed his injuries, he had cut the man, shot him and did everything else to kill him but, there he was enjoying the fight. He wasn't a masochist, rock knew that from the way the man moved while injured, he had fought masochists before; they moved into the pain not away from it. "See you soon." Enki said cheerily as he walked off into the marsh, his road rising to meet his feet once more. However, as he left, moisture steadily crept back into the raised platform on which they had been fighting, the swamp reclaiming it's territory once more and robbing Rock of dry ground to rest on. "Shut up." Rock said to the sword preemptively, right now he really didn't want to hear it. |

| Rock slowly crawled his way through a peat bog, it had been a long day filled with parasites and venomous snakes and of course endless complaining. "You have to be kidding me, are you a masochist or something, who would choose to go to a swamp." The sword said in an annoyed tone, from inside Rock's head. "As much as you love pain, i don't like cleaning up venom from your system, you know how hard that stuff is to find." Rock was learning how to drown out his new partner but, the constant nagging was really pushing his patience. "You know what fine, we're here will you shut up now?" He said as he parted the grass to see a large rhino standing in the bog not seemingly bothered by any insects. "You're kidding right? A Rhino, you got sucked on be leeches, bit by snakes, tortured by insects, nearly drowned by a crocodile to hunt a Rhino...there are plenty of those not in a poisonous swamp!" "He's not a Rhino." Rock said with annoyance. "well gee, he sure looks like a Rhino, maybe i'm wrong, perhaps it's a hippopotamus perhaps it's a unicorn in disguise...am i getting warmer?" Rock opened fire at the beast instead of bothering to retort, the pistol rounds hit the beast but it didn't panic like a normal animal would, instead two words came from the rhino's mouth. "Rhinox, Maximise!" suddenly the beast before them shifted and twisted until a green metal robot was standing in his place, pointing two chain guns at Rock. "Oh so it's a terrifying killer robot, yeah that's so much better..how about we hunt down a Lich next, yeah that's a safe bet, maybe after that we find a golem, we can even fight it with one hand tied behind our back." Eisenschwert was right to be concerned, the peat bog around them exploded as a great volume of bullets tore logs into splinters and threw mud in the air. Rock had trouble in the thick mud keeping from getting shot....much. For Rhinox, who simply had to shift his aim, the lack of mobility was not a problem. However, due to his own tactical experience and the sword patching up a few wounds as he dived through the muck, Rock closed the distance between him and the machine and in a splatter of blood and skin, Eisenschwert jumped from inside rock to the palm of his hand. The robot however was not impressed, many predacons had weapons hidden in their bodies and this human was apparently just a cleverly disguised minion of Megatron. While he may have not been impressed he was vulnerable, the sword gashed in the machines arm. Surprised Rhinox stepped back as Rock pressed the advantage, taking small shavings of the Maximal with each glancing blow. The two's clashes and blocks flashed in the coming darkness, soon all that could be seen was the sparks coming from the metal as they collided. Eventually, Rhinox managed to get some distance from Rock and the battle ended with a yell of "Beast mode." and the sound of galloping hooves on the moist ground. "So we came out here to fight him, and you let him get away." Eisenschwert muttered. "Do you know how many types of infections you now have, because I do!." "Shut up already." Rock mumbled in return. "You know what, I think I'll let them fester now." |

| Len silently worked on his Gran Kaiser it was all he had been doing for some time, Eknara had been missing since the tear of the world and without her, he could not repay his debt. So until he could find her, he would do his best to keep Gravion in working order. There were no shortage of pests that would have loved to make a home in the machine, everything from the typical magnetic slime or Musapusa to the rare Tragnix would try to take shelter under the disused machine. Today seemed to find himself defending it from a group of sentient fungi. Len at first tried nonviolent approaches to deal with the pests, shooing them of or throwing rocks to startle them but, they only seemed to become more interested in him as he tried to drive them off. The status quo was changed when Len took hit a budding with a long stick he had picked up, knocking it down, the fungi recognized him as a threat then and charged him. Len dodged from side to side but the Buddings managed to make light scratches here and there, they were not deep but he could already feel an allergic reaction in his skin from the foreign contact. He turned to run but his path was blocked by a large lizard, seemingly possessed by the same fungus that was attacking him, horrified that this might soon be his fate Len decided it was time to pilot his machines once more, however the path to Gran Kaiser was blocked. Jumping into the cockpit of the G-driller, Len quickly mowed down the fungi much to the anger of the lizard. Len smiled, his way to gran kaiser, and safety, was clear at least until Dragonshroom let loose a large discharge of spore breath, covering the area around it. Len grimaced, there was no way he could safely board the gran kaiser now, or he would risk become a fungal zombie like the creature that stood before him. Normally Len would just wait out the creature but, he could tell the creature's rage was not subsiding and, from the shaking of his machine, if he just sat there it might compromise the atmosphere. Len's only hope was to lure it away and return later, so he led the Dragon on a chase, which culminated in a quick dive into a lakebed, where the creatures roared in frustration. |

| The small island was devoid of vegetation or prey and as a young mother, the Dragonshroom was beginning to get nervous, this place was not somewhere for her children to take root and there was little food. She needed a big meal to sustain herself and her children for the journey and before her and her children was such a meal. The dancing banana provided a great show to the Buddings as he danced to an unheard music, the children watches as he dance their young curious eyes wondering in purity what was this movement, what was this being and could they be like him? Sadly, this situation would not last as the concerned mother would have little of such a terrible influence on her children, with a few grunts and some nudging to a few of them, they got the hint and advanced towards the nervous fruit. Fear as he might he could not stop the dance, not to run and not to fight. Thankfully he would not have to as a strange zombie, driving an economy car, would fly off the jagged rocks in front of them, flames bursting from the wreck as it crushed itself on the rocks and the burning wreck fell into the sea. Dumbfounded for a second the mother nudged her charred children, trying to get them to respond. However, it was in vain they had been killed and the Banana danced as if to victory, building the anger of an already enraged mother. Dragonshroom was not longer hungry, no longer concerned about prey she towered over the dancing being boundless maleficence in her eyes as she covered the banana is toxic spores. Still unsatisfied, she left the twitching fungi covered banana to rot, and looked for a new place to start her family. |

| The banana, dancer of a thousand dances or to be truthful, only one. It had drive to do but one thing by design of it’s creator to spread it’s pointless dance across all worlds to any who could see it. Today he visited one, Eknara Orkaro, in hopes that she may appreciate his dance. She was walking in the woods when he saw her, simply enjoying the company of her familiar. See’ing this as a perfect time, the banana jumped from the bushes and started to dance. Surprising the young maiden, he received in return a swift kick in between his legs. The pain caused the banana to double over in pain and Eknara carried on her day, not bothering to even make note of her "attacker." proudly brought to you by econobattle, last in excellence, first in completion! |

| Hikaru had done very little since the tear of the world, everything he knew had been remade and destroyed. He had lost everything, and had gained a small stipend in order to replace it. However, his spirit was broken, the people he had sacrificed all to protect had been scattered and eaten so he wandered from place to place, apathetic to his own survival. Dragonshroom was annoyed by this display and wished to attack the morose individual, there would be no stopping him. Hikaru coughed as noxious gasses filled the alleyway around him but had little will to fight, no justice was to be had here, no lives to be saved, what did he care if some bizarre beast attacked him. He did not have long to contemplate however as the beast landed on him, the spongy skin of Dragonshroom enveloping him as the wait settled. | A slow thin line of smoke trailed upward from the loading dock as the two guards leaned up against some of the crates yet to be loaded, their assault weapons were slung loosely at their sides as they waited for the ship to depart. Security was a boring job in Lysoria, it was a secure port well equipped with security personnel and equipment, most raiders would risk a sea battle than try to pirate here. “Hello gentlemen” A lumbering brute said walking up to the duo. “Peaceful day isn’t it?” “State your business, or leave the proximity.” One of the men said, pointing his weapon at the behemoth. “Threats aren’t any way to start a friendly greeting are they?” Rando said, watching the crew of thieves make their way up the gangplank and into the ship unnoticed from behind the crate. “If you want to get rough, we can do things that way.” “Ignore Frank big guy, he didn’t mean any offense by it.” The smoker said dropping his cigarette and grinding it into the ground with his foot. “He’s just the serious type.” “Security does that to you I guess, maybe we got of on the wrong foot.” Rando said his face turning from its perpetual sneer to an equally intimidating smile. “Maybe we can mend things and have some fun at the Brothel down the street, my treat.” “We’re on duty right now, and our asses’ aint movin’ till our shift is up.” Frank said with a scowl. “Well it would be hard to leave our post, Dave is the name, Maybe we could meet up at the brothel a little later in the night though.” Dave said smiling “Perhaps another time.” Rando said see’ing his partners in crime give him a quick wave to say they were finished. “Goodbye.” With that Rando turned and walked away, followed by the eyes of the two guards. “The big ones are always such teases frank.” Dave said sighing. “He’s too big for you anyway, it would hurt.” Frank said nodding to his companion. “it’s definitely worth it.” Dave replied. | Artemis simply gave a blank stare to the strange creature which assaulted her vision, she was no stranger to odd creatures, since she had resided in Faust but this creature was surely unique and annoying, it simply danced interminably singing the same nonsense over and over. At first the avatar of the Goddess simply ignored the being, but as it followed her she began to lose patience, it’s incessant nonsensical actions were grating to those around it, especially those in close proximity. It was not amusing, it was annoying. Artemis finally had enough and loosed several arrows into it. It fell to the ground, it’s innards starting to leak. It simply got up and continued to dance, fatigue from it’s wounds audible in the words of the song and visible across the giant banana’s features. Soon it found itself missing an arm as Artemis made use of her moonlight sword, it was not as strong at this time of day but the creature was not what one would call strong either. However it kept up it’s dance as well as it could while Artemis severed it’s other arm then it’s legs. At this point the being was not more than a vibrating banana on the ground, singing consistently, it was all it knew. This annoying tune was the only thing this being was capable of and Artemis, decided to put the thing out of both it’s and her misery. Burying the sword in it’s face, Artemis moved it down the center of the banana, splitting it neatly in half and finally ending the poor creatures song. As Artemis walked away, finally free of it’s grating tune she couldn’t help but think scorn of what gods would give such a pitiful creature life, they must be a god of mischief as any deity that would be amused by such a creature would certainly not have respect for the world in which they created it. | “Damn it all, I don’t know how to fix this stuff.” Rock grumbled as he slumped over the prone form of an advanced android. “This is Miyuki’s thing.” He said wincing as he sliced open his finger on a circuit board. He stepped away from the android to mop up the blood and reflect on how he had managed to end up in the small workshop after his fall in the tower. After he had regained his strength he had found a small door in the side of it, one he hadn’t noticed before. Not wishing to go back on the same pathway, he walked towards the door, placing his hand on it the door slid downward revealing a dark stairway leading down. As he passed into the corridor lights started to turn on of their own accord as he walked by, He was surprised to find that this place still had power or had power at all considering what he had seen above. The hallway itself was utilitarian in nature, like one might imagine in an advanced submarine. Rock’s feet made the characteristic clanking sound of soles on metal as he walked in the odd place, this is what he had come to find, not a dilapidated old prison with a homicidal guard. He jumped in surprise as a door opened on its own to his side, nearly unloading a clip into the stale air of the chamber. He read the nameplate on the door “Wayneright huh, must have been the previous inhabitant.” He said Continuing on past the door he found that the lights ceased to turn on and, looking backwards he saw the lights at the entrance had also shut off. Suspicious, Rock returned to the open doorway, gun at the ready he entered the room. Quickly the door shut behind him and, much to Rock’s lack of surprise, he found that he could not trigger it open once more. Inside the room he found a workshop, spare electronics, tools and numerous other implements that Rock could hardly identify lined the walls. However in the center of the room was a long platform, on it sat the slim body of a female android, lit up with visible damage. “All right, I get it.” So Rock set about repairing whatever he could find damage, mostly swapping out broken parts for new ones. His time in Order helped him immensely as being exposed to that level of technology gave him at least a rudimentary understanding how cybernetic beings were constructed. As time went on, his injuries ached, his head started to spin as the cramped hot room took its toll on his physiology. “There, that’s everything I know how to fix!” he yelled, exasperated as he leaned on the table. As he yelled, the automaton came to life, slowly looking around the room, settling on his blank, exhausted stare then to her unclothed body, which she quickly covered with her hands. Rock continued to stare; he hadn’t thought he’d done enough to fix it. He stared at it up and down as it set up. Some more time passed before it spoke, and it only spoke four words: “You’re such a louse.” Outcome: Mission Complete Rock Katai: 5EXP, 5Mana, 3Damage, +1REP Wayneright |

| The darkened tower had become busier in recent days and the birds circling it demonstrated the increased disturbance as Rock looked in from the doorway. He had heard that there was something more than birds here and he wasn’t about to walk in without some caution. He had suffered much since Order collapsed and had resumed freelance mercenary work, as a scavenger. He stepped into the tower staying low. Perhaps it had been well lit once but now, it was pitch black and Rock gave his eyes time to adjust. As he moved to the staircase he walked past a bent cell door that had fallen from some height, making not to watch his head he continued on up the winding staircase. The vacant tower echoed every step, making considerably more heavy footfalls than the last explorer. Rock moved slowly, moving the barrel of his pistol slowly from one end of each cell to the other but, never spending more time than was needed to certify that no-one was waiting in ambush for the hapless merc. Rock laughed slightly, there is only so much that can be said about a vacant abandoned tower and other than thinking about how much bird scat he would be cleaning from the bottom of his boots. Out of the corner of his eye Rock spotted movement in the cell ahead of him, slowing his walking speed he moved up the stairs, as he neared it he saw the cell door opened loosely hanging on its hinges. He looked deeply into the gloom of the cell a small void shifting in his view as his gaze deepened as Rock tried to make out it shape and level of threat. Suddenly it turned and, letting out and angry caw, it flew out of the cell right towards him. Rock’s Auto-pistol let out a short burst as the crow flew by his face the bullets ricocheting of the stone walls of the prison. The stairway crumbled as Rock’s foot neared it’s edge sending small pebbles down below, it was not a necessarily lethal fall from the point Rock was but high enough to where the bones of his leg might not stand it. “You react quickly.” A voice spoke from above him. “Though too harshly for a bird.” The ragged man, with the curved sword materialized from a flock of birds in front of Rock, his glowing eyes staring deeply, inquisitively into Rock’s. “An unlikely choice, I’m not sure you belong here.” He said quickly charging Rock who rolled roughly down the stairs before firing back at the creature who nimbly swayed around the stream of hot metal. “Die damnit!” Rock shouted trying to follow the wily creature on the narrow stairwell with his M-93. The being made use of every inch of the limited space though Rock could swear he walked on thin air at times. The ragged man closed the distance quickly, forcing Rock to block the blow with his pistol, sparks flew from the contact between the two metals. “A crude weapon.” The man commented pushing Rock back. “but perhaps you are a crude sort, return when you have more to offer.” With that Rock felt the sting of the being’s free hand on his jaw as he toppled over the stairs onto the metal cage, his head rang against the metal bars and his sight started to blur. It was only his willpower that allowed him to crawl outside before blacking out. Outcome: Mission Complete Rock Katai: 5EXP, 5Mana, +1REP Shade |

Regardless Enki was grateful for the free room and board, especially since he hadn't eaten for a a few days. Though it was odd that they left an open air connection from his room to the rooms of others, perhaps in Granite wood they used prisoners as exhibits? Enki shrugged, he was becoming board of the entertainment anyway, all the prisoners did was shout obscenities at each other and talk about some other prisoner who had, apparently, flung fecal matter at the guard. | The harsh jungles of Kerrigan are a no man’s land, poisonous creatures and stealthy predators stalk the leafy vegetation it is an area hostile to all civilized beings and that is why Pelt loved it. “Could you not tromp about so loudly, you’ll scare the game away.” Pelt said to his chimera guide, the hybrid of man, bear, and pig. His guide simply shrugged and grunted his annoyance as he ripped apart a collection of vines in front of him. The jungle was ripe with detail but little that was worth exposition, it was green, humid and congested save for the path that Manbearpig walked and his khaki wearing patron fallowed, rifle in hand. It wasn’t long until all the ambient sounds of the jungle started to quiet and then stop entirely, the change was not lost on Pelt as he cocked his rifle and signaled the creature to stop. Slowly at first, they heard it, as it came closer it become more clear the tiny sound that had terrified the birds and other animals in the jungle into silence. The rhythmic sound of finger snaps moved in from all directions, closer and closer until suddenly it stopped. After what seemed like an eternity a single monkey stepped out from the brush, flanked by two smaller ones sunglasses and leather jackets on all. The two groups stared at each other for a moment until the middle one, the leader, pulled out what looked like a switchblade, moving it towards his head he triggered it, the comb that popped out caressed his perfect pompadour. Afterward he handed the comb to the flunk beside him, who pocketed it and continued to stare at the two intruders, a quick couple of finger snaps and an annoyed sound from his boss and the monkey handed him a real switch blade in it’s place. Flicking it open the monkey made threatening gestures to the pair, while other similarly dressed monkeys walked out from the underbrush behind Manbearpig and Pelt, holding chains, baseball bats and other improvised weapons. The lead monkey smiled confidently at the two who had indulged his performance and, holding one hand up signaled for his compatriots to attack when it was lowered, he gave the duo time to reflect upon their mistake. The tense atmosphere was shattered with a single shot from Pelt’s rifle. “Bully! Right through the heart! Fine trophy!” The other monkey sat stunned for a bit then ran off into the jungle in a panic, chased by Manbearpig while Pelt slashed the throat of the downed monkey. “I do hope he gets at least two my friend.” He said to the dying primate. “It would be smashing to display the trio together.” Outcome: Mission Successful Manbearpig:5EXP, 5 FAME, 3-DAMAGE, +1REP PELT |

While initially safe in specially designed shelters, Order cities were overrun and the shelters themselves had to be moved. The citizenry eventually settled in Malvarin, a coastal beach town abandoned due to repeated sea dragon attacks. With their technology, they would restrain and, eventually tame the wildlife and build their society of or advanced technology once more. Region 29: Funreid (can we change the name to something like "Nephilim" or "Angel island"?) Sentient Races: Humans, Cyborgs, varied Creatures:Magnetic slimes, Musapusa, small aerial pests Terrain: Floating city Settlement Details * Earth Equivalent: none (highly advance angel island/sky town) * Housing: apartments * Foreign Relations: Isolationist though not xenophobic * Science Level: Very high * Magic Level: very low Many Order citizens saw their families eaten alive during the tear of the world by Faust's invasion, many more were badly wounded or had even broken out of a beast's stomach partially digested. These survivors opted to stay in the evacuated shelters, changing them from temporary housing to a full, permanent city 10,000 feet in the air. The city has since blossomed and subsequent upgrades have completely shed the city of the evacuation pods that served as it's base. The city itself is connected by tram lines with grapple attachments that serve not only as public transport but as a zip line of sorts to those with grapple beams at least by those without flight packs. The city has almost no trading relationship with any other city except Malvarin due to it's position in the atmosphere though it welcomes Mages or other peaceful denizens that manage to make it there. |

| Artemis picked her way quietly up the stairs of the darkened tower, locked cages lined her ascent. Every so often she would stop at the sound of a raven or crow taking flight the flaps of its wings echoing far below to the dark expanse at the base of the tower. She saw only by the light of her blade as the foul place seemed to extend forever upwards, she had the eerie feeling that she was being observed, not just watched, analyzed as she explored this decrepit place. As she passed by one of the rusted cages and hand grasped her ankle, a chill ran up her spine as she pointed her blade at her assailant, an old withered man with eyes full of madness and sorrow pleaded with her. “Water….please…just a few drops.” Her eyes softened as she handed him a small container, he raised it to his lips and drank deeply with a grateful attitude. “Hold on I’ll release you.” She said eyeing the hinges of the cage. “Wait…no!” The man said fruitlessly as the door fell off its hinges, clanging loudly onto the steps then falling to the ground below, raising a thunderous din followed by hundreds of startled birds taking flight. “No, no, that was keeping him out….you’ve killed me.” He said shrinking into the cage frantically muttering. “He’ll kill you too, slice you...he’s here auugh.” He screamed as a hand from the dark corner of his cage reach forward and, grabbing him in the shoulder, flung him from the cage and careening down the center of the tower until a sickening splat, silenced him. “So you’ve come.” The now visible pair of red eyes spoke as his body moved into the light of Artemis’ sword. He was tall, black ragged clothing that looked almost like ruined feathers gave shape similar to a robe, his face was obscured by the same strange material, his glowing eyes had no pupil, no iris but, in his arm he held a curved sword. “Perhaps you will do?” Without further words he sprang forward at Artemis, his sword caught by hers. “Hmmm that’s good.” He said, calmly retreating backwards a step, if his fluid movements could be called such, he glided as if he didn’t have legs. “Try again.” Artemis jumped at her opponent, shadows dancing all around her as the glowing sword moved in front of the cell bars. The clash of blades echoed throughout the tower, their sound the only one as both light footed opponents moved with practiced care. Up they moved, spiraling towards the top on the narrow staircase, the assailant would block and parry Artemis’ blows while retreating; only staying on the defensive. Finally they reached what looked like the top as Artemis’ sight adjusted to the night sky she swung for the assailant once more but her sword did not find purchase, it found only more words. “Not yet, you can do better.” She heard as her sword met air and a group of Crows flew out into the sky, leaving her once again, alone. Outcome: Mission Complete. Artemis: 5EXP, 5FAME, 3-DAMAGE, +1 REP-SHADE |
