Fortunate happenings
Len was relieved. Even though he and Eknara speak different languages and come from completely different worlds she still understood what he had tried to gesticulate. Perhaps he should get used to communicating without words, something completely out of the ordinary for him.

But enough thoughts of that. Instead he should try to remember everything he had been shown by the professor back in his own world. He started drawing, almost like he was in a trance. He drew and drew and drew some more, paper after paper completely filled with the blueprints he had been shown. But he did not just copy the things he had been shown. He improved it. Found small parts where things seemed unneccessary, where the tension of the material would be too much..

Maybe this was part of the professor's plan, as well? Either way, a few hours after he had started he finally felt satisfied with his work. The last paper was covered with an detailed image of the combined mode of the smaller vehicles. He smiled at it.

"Gravion."

Fortunate happenings
Len smiled a bit as he got help. He would prefer not to get too much help, but she seemed like she actually wanted to help, rather than just feeling pity. Wondering about things he thought about the language she spoke. Eknara seemed to speak the same language as that Malek guy, at least, so they seem to only have one language here.

A bit worried again, Len worried about if he was the only person here not capable of the same language, and if they had some sort of way of understanding eachother, other than the language. Perhaps they were all the original inhabitants of this world? But then again, Eknara and Malek look so different.. they might very well have gotten here in similiar ways that he did. And if that's the case he might not be the only one from Dandrel in this place. What was it that got him there, anyway? He wondered for a while, when it hit him. Gravion. That thing. He was doing some sort of tests when.. something happened. That machine might be what caused this to happen to him. But the machine in itself is not evil, is it? He thought back to what the professor had told him.

"The Super Heavyweight God Gravion is the shield of the world, the one to protect the people from harm"

If that was the case, why would it do this to him? Is there something in this world that he needs to do? The people here do seem peaceful enough, but can they protect themselves enough? What if that threat that threatened Dandrel appears here, as well? Perhaps Gravion sent him here to rebuild it on this planet and protect these people from evil? It may be possible to rebuild it, or at least make a similiar machine to it. Perhaps the professor knew this would happen, and this might have been the reason why he forced him to learn the blueprints like he did?

Lost in his thoughts, and with questions that he would not find the answers to right now he was surprised. Eknara had led him into the bed, even without him noticing. He looked at Eknara. She seemed like such a gentle, peaceful person. Then he decided. As a thanks for saving his life, he would do everything he can to make sure her life is as pleasurable as possible. People like that would be worth protecting.

But then again, maybe he shouldn't worry too much about that right now. Maybe he should worry about more pressing matters, instead. Like his injuries. With the broken arm and injured leg he might have to stay in this bed a lot longer than he originally thought. But that wouldn't stop him from at least being slightly productive. He tried to ask Eknara for some supplies he needed.

"Er, could you.. um.. bring me some.. er.." he mumbled a bit as he tried to make signs of drawing on paper.

He wasn't sure if she understood, but if he at least had that much he could put the blueprints back on paper, at least.

Fortunate happenings
"Ah!" Len jumped at the fact that the bird seemed to fly away at ridiculous speed as soon as he even got close to it. "Your pet doesn't seem to like me. I kinda understand why, though, what with the whole scare earlier. I guess I wasn't the only one scared in there, huh?"

However, it wasn't until after he finished talking that he noticed that the woman seemed to react badly to him approaching the bird, too. Maybe she didn't want other people to touch her pet? "Sorry." Len said, with a sad expression on his face. But the woman started talking a bit, at well.

She told him her name, and the name of her pet. At least that's what he thought. He thought for a while and tried to figure out how to pronounce the names.

"Ek.. nara?" and then "Ai... cao.. tiul?" These were like no names he had ever heard, oddly exotic names, much like the place he is it. She must be a resident of this place, perhaps, he thought.

Of course, there was a bit of a problem that had been nagging him for a while. The whole leg being injured thing. But he beared it. He wouldn't want to look too weak in front of his saviour, after all.

Fortunate happenings
Len was relieved. Despite his rude attack and judging the beast after it's looks the woman still seemed to have faith in him. It was a sweet sensation he had not experienced for a long while. This woman might very well be an angel.

He happily accepted her offer of help and got back up. Even if the first one was no good he would still have to at least try to make a good second impression.

"I'm Len." he said, happily shaking her hand. "I hope you can understand that much, at least."

However, he did not just want to thank her, but he wanted to thank the other fellow, as well. He smiled and stretched out his left arm gently towards the bird-like creature, just like he would with a dog back home.

"There, there. I didn't scare you, did I?" he gently asked. He wasn't sure how to treat talking falcons, but this was the closest thing he could think of.

Fortunate happenings
Len actually managed to notice something in his frightened daze. The woman seemed to.. care for the beast. Maybe he had misunderstood things? This is *probably* not Dandrel, after all. The culture here might be completely different from what he's used to, and he shouldn't judge things from their looks. But being on his own for so long he had managed to build up reflexes to things like that, whether he wanted to or not. Because out there a split-second might be the difference between life or death. And this time a split-second might have been the difference between a friendship with the woman that saved his life and being alone in this place.

However, he was not content with just leaving things like that. Instead of letting his rash decision end what might've been his only relationship in this place, he should instead just push on and try to set things right. That's what the nice maids at the castle always used to tell him.

With nothing to support him he instead decided to bear the pain as he slowly got out of the bed and limped across the room, toward the door. The pain almost made him give up a few times, but he eventually got there and quickly opened the door.

After looking around for a short while he found the person he was looking for, still embracing the falcon. He limped over to her thought about talking to her. But then again, she probably wouldn't have understood it. Just words would not be enough, so instead he bowed down in front of her, trying his hardest to seem regretful and sorry.

"I'm so sorry!" he said, still bowed over. "I know you might not understand me, but I'll make sure that you'll understand how thankful I am for everything you've done. Maybe not right now, but I'll make sure you understand some day."

Fortunate happenings
Len rubbed his eyes. He obviously is delusional, or else he could've sworn that he saw some falcon-like beast talk. Obviously, they can't do that. Then..

What the hell is that thing arguing with the woman that saved his life?!

Len freaked out and started yelling and throwing whatever he could at that monster. If it was going to kill him and his saviour he wouldn't just lie down and take it, he would make sure that that beast would at least go down with him.

Everything not nailed to the ground was sent flying towards the beast. Pillows, trays, that globe thing he was investigating earlier, everything.

Fortunate happenings
Len was alone in the room. The man, Malek was his name, had left him in there again, strongly suggesting that he would try to stay down and not open up the wounds he had. At least, that's what he think he meant. It's kind of hard to know when you don't really understand the language they are speaking..

Of course, eating with that man was rather odd. He still did not trust him, and made sure to be certain that there was nothing bad in the food, making sure that the man ate before him. He was a bit relieved at the lack of poison or anything he could notice, it was just great food. The first real meal he had eaten in a looong time. Sure, it was not as great as the food he had been eating at the castle, but their odd food tasted surprisingly tasty.

Then again, it was no time to just lie around. He had to study what these people were as good as he could. After all, they could be head hunters or something similiar, despite their nice appearance. There was one thing in the room that caught his attention. It seemed like some sort of large globe, something that might tell him about where he is. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to get out of the bed for now, now that they took away all the stuff he could use to support himself on..

But that isn't something that would stop someone with magic. Instead of simply carrying that thing over like some sort of magic-less silly person he could just use his still rather weak graviton magic to simply soar the thing over to himself. This was a bit harder than he expected, the globe weighed quite a bit more than the equipment he used to train with in the castle. Eventually he got the globe, but not without exhausting himself more than expected. It was a rather interesting globe, using some sort of magic to render some sort of real-time image of something. It might be a picture of the planet.

Then it struck him. The planet that the globe showed.. it wasn't the Dandrel he knew. The language the people speak, the technology, the enviroment.. this is not Dandrel. He was starting to overthink things, and he was suddenly getting homesick. He was missing everything related to the castle. The nice maids that would help him out whenever he had any trouble, the chefs that created the best food he had ever eaten, even the professor that kept putting him through rough tests to try out the graviton magic needed to create Graviton.. He was thinking of what the professor once told him.

"When Graviton is formed and the pilots are joined the 'Super Heavyweight Sword' will find the way to it's true user, no matter what. I worry that something might happen to you some day, so I wish for you to learn all of the blueprints needed for Gravion. This is only a precaution, but the threat that we face may be something the entire universe, no, the multiverse will face eventually.." he had said, as he forced Len to learn every last possible blueprint he had finished. Maybe.. maybe this was what he spoke of. He might have predicted this entire thing. But that didn't make him any less lonely, any less alone.

At least, he thought so. Except for..

He finally noticed that a woman had entered the room. Not just any woman, but the woman that saved his life. The only person around here he knew for certain he could trust. He smiled at the sight of the woman, and put the globe aside. At least he was not completely alone in this foreign world. Oh, the joy he felt, he could not hide.

He wished to get up and greet the woman, but the lack of anything to support himself stopped himself cold. Rather, he hoped that the woman had gone here to visit him, and simply waited for her to approach.

Fortunate happenings
Len smiled.

"Oh, you *do* talk!" Len was a bit worried about the fact that the man mentioned nothing but his name, considering how they had already managed to spread one language throughout Dandrel. But this place might be really remote. Looking around he noticed how they didn't seem to use electricity for lights.. At least they seemed friendly enough.

He pointed towards his chest and said "Len", then stretched out his hand not occupied by his crutch, trying to get the man to shake his hand. Maybe he would understand that, at least.

Fortunate happenings
"Who are you?" Len asked, not sure if he could get an answer. But he was still nervous, even if this person might look like a good person he might be an enemy in disguise. However, for some odd reason nobody here seemed to talk very much, maybe they were trying to keep something from him?

He wasn't sure what the man meant by those gestures, but he was certain to try to find out.

"What do you mean? Do you want me to drink or eat something?" he asked, getting more nervous. "And are you some sort of mute or somethi-" He was cut off. But not by any of the people around him, but rather his stomache, loudly growling, showing off it's anger and emptiness.

"I.. might be a bit hungry. What's it to you?" he asked, calming down a bit. How could he stay angry when he was so hungry, after all?

Of course, that doesn't mean that he would just outright trust that man. Where was that woman that helped him, though? As he looked the man over he thought things through. That woman must be a member of this tribe or something like that. And this must be some sort of backwater village in the most remote parts of Dandrel. A village populated by mutes.

Fortunate happenings
Len sprung up, his breath heavy, his mind wavering. He had been having a nightmare, about that thing that nearly killed him. But as he was starting to wake up he noticed something. He had no idea where he was. This is not the shack he had built, nor does it seem like the den of a beast.. Either way, he would have to get a look around his surroundings.

As he stood up from the bed he noticed that most of his body was covered in bandages. Whoever did this might have wanted him to stay alive, or they might've wanted him to simply not die just yet. He had no plans to find out, but his idea was shot down rather quickly, when he noticed that one of his arms seemed broken, and one of his legs injured so badly he could not even stand on it.

But getting used to improvising was something he had just recently, he found something he could use as a crutch. It seemed like a rod of some sorts, and it would have to do. Limping away from the bed, he approached the one exit the room had. He carefully opened the door and peeked out of it, and saw nothing. However, on the other side of the door there was a guard, one that he couldn't see. Feeling rash and full of vitality he limped out of the room, only to be stopped by the guard.

However, still nervous about his situation he started acting rashly, waving the rod around as a chance of fending the guard off. This caused quite a ruckus, and there was soon other people showing up. Len got even more nervous, and started shouting at them.

"Who the hell are you people? Where am I?" he yelled, full of fear and despair. For all he knew these people could be bandits, kidnappers, slavers or even worse...

Fortunate happenings
Len noticed the woman slowly walking towards him, and felt relief for the first time in a very long while. He was a bit worried that he might've stumbled upon a mute, since she didn't seem to speak back at him, but at least she seemed to understand that he needs help.

As the woman came close to him he got a view of her, and it immediately struck him. It might just be delusion, thanks to malnutrition, but he could've sworn he saw his mother there for a moment. Then again, he had been at the researcher's castle since he was just six years old, so he could barely even remember his mother's face. He was finally going to make it out of this hell. He was so happy he could cry. But he tried not to. Instead he tried thanking the woman for finding him.

"Thank you so much." he mumbled out between his sniffles. "It's good to know that there's some nice people in this place, after all."

He was so tired. Maybe sleeping for a bit would just.. work out nicely.. he thought, finally getting some rest for the first time in a while.

Fortunate happenings
This just wasn't Len's day. First a bear-like beast broke his arm and stole his dinner, and now this.. But he wouldn't let that stop him! He had finally found another human, someone to give him directions or maybe even show him the way personally to the closest town.

But then again. While his mind were set on getting the help of this woman, he wasn't sure about his body. He could barely even move any more, thanks to malnutrition and his injuries. He hadn't realized it yet, but the attack he got from the bear-like thing caused him a lot more than a broken arm.

Of course, a hawk striking a person so hard that he falls to his back would stop most people. But he was doing all he could to get out of this hellhole, and this person was his way out. He would like to say that, at least. But he doesn't have the strength needed use his non-broken arm to get up again, so despite his attempts he is stuck on the ground.

He was starting to feel doubt. Not being able to get up and getting attacked as soon as he met this woman.. it would be enough to cause most people to doubt everything.

"I'm.. going to die here, huh.." he mumbled, now scared for his life. If he couldn't get up a beast could easily kill him without him being able to even resist. And he couldn't let that happen. After a few more failed attempts to get up he chose to try to get the woman to help him.

"Please! I don't want to die!" he yelled, barely being able to keep himself from crying. "I'll do anything, just help me, please.."
