Like waking up in a bathtub full of ice...
Rock's eyes opened slowly, his head was a mess of pain and hazed over memory. He found himself lying on his back in the floor of a dark, cobweb-filled room, staring at the decaying skeleton of what appeared to be some kind of monk. The monk was sitting as though meditating, but strangely one arm was outstretched toward Rock. He was shocked less by his inability to recall how he got in this situation as his uncertainty regarding just what the situation was. He tried to sit up, but movement of any kind only brought horrendous pain. As he felt himself start to black out again, his eyes looked up at the ceiling, through the hole he must've fell through. It didn't look like he could've hurt himself that badly by falling from there, but consciousness was slipping away, and he couldn't keep his mind on anything. As his vision blurred, an annoyed voice spoke.

"Hey, don't die like a pansy, just stay still so I can finish putting your heart back together. So damn much scar tissue in the way... is there any part of you that hasn't been mangled at some point?"

Having finally managed to get the door to Wayneright's room open, Rock returned to exploring the depths of Raven's Point. The expedition had proven uneventful, and fatigue from the past two days had worn on Rock's usually sharp senses. It only took a second of poor judgement to send him crashing through a weak floorboard, landing in a heap in a room that smelled of death. As he stood and checked his new surroundings, Rock began to curse his own stupidity when a voice startled him, whispering out of the darkness.

"A chance at last..."

Before Rock could even ask who the whisperer was, a second voice dragged it's way through a sentence.

"Foooooool..... whyyy... after so looong... do men still seeeeek.... the acursed blade...."

"Acursed blade?" Rock said, "I'm not seeking any--WHOA!" He shouted, barely evading some manner of sword as it came swinging out of the cobwebs. It was too dark to see clearly, and his eyes had not adjusted, so tracking the attacker wasn't possible. With cobwebs hanging like a sea of curtains, Rock couldn't even find an exit.

"Iiiiif you... do not seeeeek.... then begone.... aaand allow no soul to knoooowww.... where your feet have treaaad...."

"Or you could just stand still for a moment..." The whisperer taunted as a second swing seemed to come from nowhere. This time rock fired a few bursts in the direction he thought it retreated in, but was rewarded only with the sound of bullets splintering a wooden pillar. A few more swings, a few more failed attempts to kill the unseen foe. Each swing seemed to come from impossible directions, and each gunshot only seemed to hit the rotting walls.

"Interesting weapon, are you some kind of warrior?" The whisperer asked mockingly, "I told you all you need to do is stand still, I promise it won't hurt if you give me a clear shot..."

"Oh yeah? Why don't you stand still and give me a clear shot eh?" Rock asked, firing off another burst, this time a hollow sound echoed in his ears. "Is that.... Has to be! A door!" he thought, turning toward the last place he fired and breaking into a run. Unfortunately for Rock, his adversary knew this room incredibly well, and running for the door was more or less running right into the whisperer's plan.

Just as the broken door came into view, a pain unlike anything Rock had ever felt pierced his chest. He looked down in horror to find a rusted black blade stabbed clean through him, extended from the hands of what seemed to be the skeleton of a monk, sitting legs crossed in front of him.

"Apologies young fooooool.... I have faiiiled to... achieve... enlightenment... aaand failed.... to seeeeaal the.... demon...." the skeleton said, falling silent as Rock's shocked, painful expression turned to one of rage. He grabbed the blade suddenly, and began trying desperately to pull it out of his chest. The whisperer's voice suddenly turned into a shout of surprise.

"No you idiot! You'll die!" The sword screamed, but Rock overruled it's pleas with a voice full of adrenaline and pain, ripping the broadsword from his sternum with an almost inhuman shout. Blood poured from the wound, and as his legs buckled, one last though entered his mind.

"Miyuki.... I guess your dumbass isn't getting home after all..."

"... is there any part of you that hasn't been mangled at some point?" The voice said as Rock eyes opened again. The realization of what had happened hit him hard, and he wasn't sure if he should be happy to be alive, or pissed that he basically killed himself for nothing. In the end, he simply settled on "Damn it...."

Computer down
disregard that, managed to fix the computer, so no problem now.

Computer down
I won't go into too much detail, but basically my computer has a nasty virus. I won't be able to be on chat(unless I can find an IRC client for PS3 that won't risk Sony's wrath) but I can still send in actions.

In the recent mission: "It's a tower"(Rock Katai repairs Wayneright), the outcome says I received 5 Mana, on Rock Katai's roster listing, it says I have 5 Karma and 0 Mana. Also, what does Karma do exactly? It's not really mentioned in the rules at all.

New Thracs RPG Site Design Finalization
I have no problem with the way it is.

Putting myself back together, or, "No guts, no glory, duct taping the glory back in your abdomen."
Rock stumbled deeper into the deeper recesses of the island, his wound was mostly burned closed by the heat of the handgun that saved his life earlier, but still bled and hurt like hell. Through the pain and exhaustion, Rock could still recall his attackers questions and grunted at the realization of his folly.

"Dumbass robot, we were BOTH assigned to Order territory..." He muttered to himself, resting against a tree as he inspected his mauled gut. "What's with this place anyway? I should be dead from this, not running halfway across and island."

With quite a great deal of effort, Rock managed to remove his shirt, clean it off in a stream, and tie it over his wound as a makeshift bandage. After a while, he managed to get to his feet again, and wandered over the next few hills to find a tall yet crumbling tower, with many birds roaming it's ledges and crevices like watchmen looking out over the island and sea. It seemed as good a place as any to rest for the night, and hopefully evade a second encounter with the robot and his painful way of saying hello.

Automatic Handgun(Long Range): M93R Burst-fire handgun, a medium ranged weapon which fires three bullets per pull of the trigger. Ineffective against heavy armor, and inaccurate at long range, but has a high hit-rate in close to mid-range and is lightweight and easy to handle. It's magazine holds 20 rounds, but plenty of ammo can easily be carried by the user due to the small size and weight of the weapon. Capable of using special ammunition, which must be crafted separately.
