Initiation
Nahuatl stood amongst the group of initiates, feeling their anxiety in the air. The foul taste twisted the expression on his face into a grimace. It was upsetting being surrounded by those second-thinking their own decisions. To think he was on their level was disappointing. Nevertheless, he needed to be committed to this cause so he may find a way back to his own world, back to his original stature.

"You lesser-beings should go home.." Nahuatl hissed under his breath as he maneuvered through the unsure, towards the front of the group where he was met by Eknara.

A solemn expression, met with staunch posture, adorned his face as his eyes trailed down to meet hers. Despite her size, his respect for her authority held firm. The fact that she was a female changed nothing for him. Nahuatl was rather used to many female naga's reach a higher status than he held. Especially the Empress. After a moment passed, he closed his eyes and bowed his head to her. He was ready to become part of something in this new world, however temporary it may end up to be.

On a serious note, just curious on rulings of equipment to pc height ratings. Not that it completely matters, but yeah. lol

Nahuatl was originally a denizen of the world named, Riyae. A world filled with constant strife. The sentient races that inhabited the planet warred over a treasure of unimaginable power. For what was so precious to all that live there, was a miraculous thing. A treasure that was comparable to Earth's "Fountain of Youth," which they called, "The Goddess' Tear". With the prospect of eternal life, Riyae's "Tear" saw endless handlers over the span of time as the fighting races claimed its power for their own after winning the 'war'.

Nahuatl took part in one of these wars, acting as one of the naga's most renowned sorcerers. His abilities to weave the elements of the planet into powerful spells and the ease of manipulating energies carved a way through enemy ranks claimed untouchable from the previous war. Despite the difficulty in combating the "tear's" former handlers, Nahuatl and his clan claimed their prize and thusly earning themselves their own endless life.

Over the centuries, the naga was the dominant race of Riyae. As usual for the people graced by the "tear", time was but just another word to them. Where the other races were crippled by their lifespan, the naga flourished and continued to feed off the victory of the last war. That was, until a new challenger came to Riyae.

As told in the Song of the Ending Tide

From the stars they came, on wingless boats
With lightning and brimstone, they treated their hosts
As if they played a game, they bellowed out gloats
They wanted her tear, turning our people into ghosts

The new opponents from space resembled Riyae's humans, the only difference was the weapons they carried. Such things foreign to Nahautl's world. Despite the initial fear from their surprise, the naga waged war against these aliens as well. The "tear" was rightfully theirs and they intended to defend what they earned. This new 'tear war' waged on for longer than any previous war that Riyae had seen. The magics of Riyae used by the naga held considerable ground against the technology brought forth by the starchildren (as the naga called them). However, a new weapon was brought to the field. To the naga, the starchildren carried what appeared to be a large rock. Once activated, it opened up, unleashing light and fire everywhere. Throes of naga were beginning to be wiped out, tipping the tide in the starchildren's favor. Digusted by this recent event, Nahuatl stepped forth, weaving the elements of Riyae into a spell even he had not once performed before. A desperate effort to push back the invaders, Nahuatl let forth the spell, the fury of the elements colliding with the starchildren's technology, causing an explosion that blinded those observing the battle from far away.

Upon awakening, Nahuatl found himself in a new land. The colors of the flora and fauna foreign to his eyes. Even the smell of the waters was something new to him. Although appeased by the fact that he was still alive, Nahuatl knew he was not home. Time passed as he learned of his new surroundings. Though not as powerful as he was on Riyae, his magical attunement with Thracs had begun. He sought out others that shared talents with the elements and accepted being brought into the collective, calling themselves the Khaotics. The knowledge gathered by these various individuals would hopefully provide insight to help Nahuatl return home to his clan. It was only a matter of time before he would rise again to his previous strength, and time meant nothing to him.
