Len was relieved. Despite his rude attack and judging the beast after it's looks the woman still seemed to have faith in him. It was a sweet sensation he had not experienced for a long while. This woman might very well be an angel.

He happily accepted her offer of help and got back up. Even if the first one was no good he would still have to at least try to make a good second impression.

"I'm Len." he said, happily shaking her hand. "I hope you can understand that much, at least."

However, he did not just want to thank her, but he wanted to thank the other fellow, as well. He smiled and stretched out his left arm gently towards the bird-like creature, just like he would with a dog back home.

"There, there. I didn't scare you, did I?" he gently asked. He wasn't sure how to treat talking falcons, but this was the closest thing he could think of.
