Len actually managed to notice something in his frightened daze. The woman seemed to.. care for the beast. Maybe he had misunderstood things? This is *probably* not Dandrel, after all. The culture here might be completely different from what he's used to, and he shouldn't judge things from their looks. But being on his own for so long he had managed to build up reflexes to things like that, whether he wanted to or not. Because out there a split-second might be the difference between life or death. And this time a split-second might have been the difference between a friendship with the woman that saved his life and being alone in this place.

However, he was not content with just leaving things like that. Instead of letting his rash decision end what might've been his only relationship in this place, he should instead just push on and try to set things right. That's what the nice maids at the castle always used to tell him.

With nothing to support him he instead decided to bear the pain as he slowly got out of the bed and limped across the room, toward the door. The pain almost made him give up a few times, but he eventually got there and quickly opened the door.

After looking around for a short while he found the person he was looking for, still embracing the falcon. He limped over to her thought about talking to her. But then again, she probably wouldn't have understood it. Just words would not be enough, so instead he bowed down in front of her, trying his hardest to seem regretful and sorry.

"I'm so sorry!" he said, still bowed over. "I know you might not understand me, but I'll make sure that you'll understand how thankful I am for everything you've done. Maybe not right now, but I'll make sure you understand some day."
