 Name: Hikaru Striker Age: 23 Gender: Male DOB: unknown Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Light Blue Weapon of Choice: Sword Faction: Brotherhood History: Hikaru Striker the the last of his people. A space fairing race that existed as a peacekeeping and Defense force for their own little sector of space. Before he crossed paths with the Order, he was fighting in a brutal space combat against his peoples enemies. His Star System was in war. His peoples enemies swept across the star system like a plague wiping out Hikaru's people and over taking the planets. On that final battle above the last planet to fall, he led a squadron of space fighters into combat. After the battle was seemingly over, he was the last of his people alive. Hikaru was being chased all over the system never resting until one day he ended up in a fight. He tried to escape by using his fighters hyperdrive but before it could be stabilized, a wormhole like portal opened in the same spot of his hyperspace window. Hikaru's fighter was hit in the engines, as his hyperdrive engine was about to explode he launched his escape pod, but the force of the explosion sent the pod into the unstable hyperwormhole portal. The force of the blast knocked Hikaru unconscious and closed the portal behind him. When Hikaru finally awakened he checked his computer to see where he had ended up. The computer couldn't chart his location as he was in uncharted space. He sent out a distress beacon to see if there was anyone around to receive it. He shut down everything except for life support and the power needed to broadcast the beacon. Hikaru drifted asleep wanting to save his energy for what might come. Hikaru was awakened as he felt the shaking of his little pod. He noticed that he was being brought into a ships hanger. He did not recognize the symbol on the ship nor the making of the ship. He opened his pod's hatch and climbed out rather slowly. Due to his exhaustion and the barely minimal life support in his pod he fainted gripping his weapon, which looked like a metal cylinder. When he awakened he was greeted by Representatives of the Order and was brought into their fold. There was a stipulation however. He would join but the condition was that they try not to bug him for his technology, and in return he would serve is a diplomat and special forces commando. Hikaru had proven himself a capable solider as well as a diplomat that he had received the highest military rank within the order, that was Captain Commander. Highly respected and feared by the Order and the galaxy but also feared by the Orders enemies. When they were thrusted onto Thracs, Hikaru was sent in as a emmassary for the Order. The meetings with the other nations didn't go over well. Epically that warrior nation.... that situation could of been handles differently and with less blood.... Hikaru last met with the Brotherhood in secret because the Order would not allow him to speak with them. The leadership of the Brotherhood did not welcome Hikaru very warmly, despite Hikarus respectful demeanor. There that is when he observed the people and their way of life. He then was brought to the hard truth that the Order not only wants to leave the planet but they believe to be the only people able enough to rule this world and all in it. Hikaru did not want to believe it but when some of the Orders military came rolling through roughing up the people Hikaru blew his cover to put a stop to it. Hikaru engaged the Order's military squad, which was comprised of 6 regular soldiers. Hikaru fought them without having to revile his identity yet, until the soldiers he was beating up took a child and mother hostage. "I order you to stand down unless you want to see this family die" The solider said to Hikaru. "I dont answer to you and you want lay another finger on them. I order you to let them go. NOW!" Hikaru said with authority in his tone of voice. "You do you think you are. Trying to order me around like that! IDENTIFY YOURSELF YOU INSOLENT CURR!" Hikaru took off the hood and discarded the cloak revealing his unique battle armor and his face as he responded, "I am Captain Commander Hikaru Striker. Now I ORDER you to let them go now, or else." The ORDER solider was furious that Hikaru was able to single handedly dispatch the squad. The lead solider spoke out, "Or else what? Will you kill us over these peasants. WE are the elite of this planet, WE are the ones who are more fit to rule this world. Dont get in our way or else we will kill you." Hikaru displayed anger on his face for the first time since coming to this system and planet. He turned to the Brotherhood leaders and said, "Get these people out of here. If a fight is going to happen I dont want these innocent civilians hurt." Hikaru spoke like a battle seasoned vet ready to do abttle if he must. he then turned to the woman and her daughter and said, "Don't worry. everything will be alright." Hikaru's nature of his people arose that day, and the Brotherhood was impressed by his act of Valor. The surrounding area was evacuated as one member of the Brotherhood's ruling party watched from afar. "Well isn't that heart warming. Do you really think you can save these people from us. Do you?" Hikaru didn't respond with words, he just looked at the men. The solider smirked and ordered his squad to take him. They were cocky because Hikaru never used his weapon. Hikaru grabbed his weapon and thought to himself, "This isnt good. My arm band tells me I only have enough to last 5 minutes at most with the crystal in my saber. I need to get a new one soon. I'll just have to finish this quickly" 4 minutes later all that stood in front of Hikaru was the lead solider with the mother and daughter held hostage in hsi arms. "Let them go and run back to your masters." Hikaru said as he noticed that his saber was dieing. He could use his other gifts but he was not in tune with the life-force of the planet yet. He had to think quick before the solider acted. "Well looks like you are all out of juice so i'll kill these two peasants and blame it on you the traitor. Prepare to die you little nothings." Hikaru's eyes narrowed as he threw his saber and dashed toward the guy. The saber hit the solider in the head instantly killing him but the soldiers fingers on the triggers was problem mattic for they would fire. Hikaru barely made it on time to move the guns away, thus saving the two girls. They both thanked Hikaru and ran away. Hikaru sighed as he looked at that had happened. He had held so closely to his races morals and virtues that it resulted in him hilling the ORDERS soldiers. He turned around and saw the head guy of the Brotherhood. "That was a truly self-less thing that you did. You saved those two and showed us that not everyone in the order are alike." Hikaru looked at the dead soldiers and he looked inside of himself. he riped off the symbol of the ORDER and turned to the guy. "I am no longer with the Order. I have now seen that the people I once served for are not the people I thought they were. They have no scene of honor and valor. I, Hikaru Striker, humbly ask that you take me into the Brotherhood so that I can fight for what I once believed in before joining them. I beg of you." Hikaru fell to one knee and bowed his head. "You Hikaru Striker are welcome as a Knight of the Brotherhood. From this day on you will help to protect this land and its people against those who wish to do us harm. That is your duty as a Knight." Hikaru then thought back to his race of people and they exactly did the same. With his faith restored in what he believed in he arose as a Knight of the Brotherhood. |
