Bovril smiled as he eyed his dueling partner, whom he had just met after Rando joining the ‘Ead ‘Unters. “You are puny, Rando.” Rando glanced slightly up at Bovril. The lizardman was covered in dull aqua green scales with huge talons protruding from his three-toed feet. And unlike Rando who was stark naked, Bovril wore a set of armour that covered his knees, shoulders and chest. Rando certainly didn’t consider himself short for his height, but Rando was a considerable 2.03m/6’8” to his 2.5m/8’2”. At being insulted thusly, Rando charged toward Bovril in order to prove just how little difference height would make in this duel compared to his raw strength and the forces his rather large body could deal out to the skinnier Bovril. The humour in Bovril’s red eyes and the smile on his face, didn’t disappear as his agile body moved aside to completely miss the charge. As Rando came to a halt, he took a split second to wonder just where Bovril had fled to before a sharp pain radiated on his back. Bovril had landed the first hit and did not waste time to land his second. He jumped in the air to try to topple Rando by kicking his head with both feet as Rando tried turning around. But Rando saw the movement out of the corner of his eyes. His muscular brown arms managed to catch one of Bovril’s feet just in the nick of time. Once Rando had Bovril in his grasp, he flung the lizardman down hard onto the floor. Bovril’s head hurt like the dickens even though his front took most of the impact. Rando managed to punch Bovril’s right arm before Bovril could manage to roll away. It was Rando’s turn to smile. As Bovril got up, Rando noticed just how much damage his last attack inflicted. He also noticed the panic in Bovril’s eyes. Bovril could barely feel his right arm as blood trailed down it. He backed away quickly from Rando as he tried to regain his senses. Rando charged again. Bovril evaded. Rando charged once more and barely missed Bovril as the lizardman’s talon’s drew three huge gashes on Rando’s left leg. Bovril tried to couple this last strike with a carefully aimed hit to Rando’s eyes. Bovril hit Rando’s nose instead. The brown-muscled alien reflexively covered his face with his huge hands. Bovril used this chance to jump into the air and land on Rando’s upper body, effectively forcing Rando’s face to meet the lush grass they were dueling on. As Bovril jumped a few paces back, Rando got up and spat out the soil and vegetation that had invaded his mouth. “Uggh. I don’t eat grass.” Bovril was some distance to Rando on his right. Rando charged once more. But this time as Bovril tried to evade, Rando turned mid-charge and managed to hit Bovril square in the chest. He sent the aqua green reptile sliding three metres ahead of him. Rando waited for his opponent to get up. But Bovril just lay there quietly. Outcome: Rando wins, Bovril loses. Rando: 10 EXP.
