Len silently worked on his Gran Kaiser it was all he had been doing for some time, Eknara had been missing since the tear of the world and without her, he could not repay his debt. So until he could find her, he would do his best to keep Gravion in working order. There were no shortage of pests that would have loved to make a home in the machine, everything from the typical magnetic slime or Musapusa to the rare Tragnix would try to take shelter under the disused machine. Today seemed to find himself defending it from a group of sentient fungi. Len at first tried nonviolent approaches to deal with the pests, shooing them of or throwing rocks to startle them but, they only seemed to become more interested in him as he tried to drive them off. The status quo was changed when Len took hit a budding with a long stick he had picked up, knocking it down, the fungi recognized him as a threat then and charged him. Len dodged from side to side but the Buddings managed to make light scratches here and there, they were not deep but he could already feel an allergic reaction in his skin from the foreign contact. He turned to run but his path was blocked by a large lizard, seemingly possessed by the same fungus that was attacking him, horrified that this might soon be his fate Len decided it was time to pilot his machines once more, however the path to Gran Kaiser was blocked. Jumping into the cockpit of the G-driller, Len quickly mowed down the fungi much to the anger of the lizard. Len smiled, his way to gran kaiser, and safety, was clear at least until Dragonshroom let loose a large discharge of spore breath, covering the area around it. Len grimaced, there was no way he could safely board the gran kaiser now, or he would risk become a fungal zombie like the creature that stood before him. Normally Len would just wait out the creature but, he could tell the creature's rage was not subsiding and, from the shaking of his machine, if he just sat there it might compromise the atmosphere. Len's only hope was to lure it away and return later, so he led the Dragon on a chase, which culminated in a quick dive into a lakebed, where the creatures roared in frustration.
