The sound of a familiar General’s gavel cracks down against the hard wood of yet another military tribunal, the second held in only two days. “And how does the defendant plea?”

“Guilty, sir...” Ci-Lain stands up, his hands at his side. His commanding officer, and honorary lawyer in the trial nods his head, pleased that his usual cocky underling finally listened to him for once.

“Very well then. Then it is the decision of this court to give you the following sentence,” the General adjusts his collar and clears his throat before proceeding. “Due to the rash, and unprovoked attack of a fellow Zeon pilot’s ship, within Side 3 space, Ci-Lain, pilot of the Pallas Athene shall spend the remainder of this week in the brig, and receive no pay for this week.”

Ci-Lain’s shrugs the charges off, having spent plenty of days in the brig already.

“Also, if an incident such as this happens again, immediate discharge shall occur for the guilty party. I’m tired of seeing hot shot pilots come in here, thinking they can simply go off and attack anything they want for a little bit of combat experience. That is all.” The General’s gavel hits the hard wood once more, and the congregation is dismissed, Ci being escorted directly to Core Beta’s brig.

“Heh... Damned annoying Kirin...” Jason Mclurin smirks as the Doven Wolf obtains an easy lock on the mobile repair pod that is the Tsunami. He pulls the trigger, and lets loose several beams of energy, seemingly playing with the repair pod before he finishes it off.

Inside the Tsunami, Amanda’s dancing is interrupted when she’s thrown off her feet and into one of the walls. “Huh?” is all she can manage to ask herself. “We’re under attack!” She runs over to the monitoring controls of Tsunami, getting a good view of the Doven Wolf before a beam seems to come directly at her. In reality, the main camera is destroyed, leaving her “blind.”

Jason examines the dozen holes he’s managed to put into Tsunami, and decides he’s had enough fun for one day. The Doven Wolf brings up the targeting monitor, putting his crosshairs directly in the path of Tsunami’s generator. He is about to putt the trigger when a voice rings out over his COM system. “What the hell do you think you’re doing private!?”

“Huh!?” he questions the voice echoing in his cockpit.

“Private, this is General Rollins. That ship you happen to be targeting is a guest of Side 3. He’s here for the Gundam Fight. Now, unless you intend to tell the New Vegas committee exactly why one of the favorites to win the fight had his repair crew murdered, disengage from the enemy.”

Jason curses in his mind, and drops the lock on the Tsunami. Outside, the Doven Wolf slowly turns around, heading for a nameless Zeon colony, and plotting the “demise” of Kirin and the Shining.

Outcome: Tsunami remains
Doven Wolf: No damage

Kids These Days

Aboard a shuttle, Arturo Silva goes through the final systems checks before preparing to enter into Earth’s gravitational grip, and descend into the planet. In the back of the shuttle, neatly covered with a giant cloth, is the Re-GZ. “Thrusters, check. Coolant system, check. Looks like I’m ready to go.”

Suddenly, a voice comes through the COM link. “Private Silva, what the hell do you think you’re doing entering Earth’s territory without permission? We’ve managed to keep peace for thirty years, and if you manage to f’ it up now, I’ll kill you myself,” the voice of an old military commander calls out for him. “Jesus... Kids these days think they can take on the Federation by themselves.”

Arturo looks sheepishly at the COM, and without a word, turns the shuttle around, and stops entering Earth’s atmosphere.

Outcome: Earth remains
