Overview
This page contains any additional rules and special exceptions to previous rules for Rogue PCs. In cases where this page contradicts previous rules, Rogue PCs use this page instead of the normal rules page.

Rogue PC Units
Rogue PCs can always make Hide actions, even if captaining ships. They may make Train, Forage and Overwatch actions while remaining Hidden.
Rogues add 1 point to their repair time. Rogues repair normally in Friendly territory, and take other types of Damage as normal. For example, Bishop Kratos could be attacked, resulting in "repairs, 5 +1, injury 2". They take this Repair damage even if a unit type that normally does not repair, such as Infantry. This extra Repair time is supposed to represent a general lack of spare parts, ammunition and supplies.
Rogue Factions
Rogues begin the game aligned to a specific faction. Both the Rogue PC and all NPCs under their control use that Factions special rule. See the Advanced Rules page for Faction rule descriptions.
Changing Units
Rogues may change units by buying a new unit from the shop along with a Pilot Swap purchase and a Refit action. Rogues may only do this while their status is OK, and may do it regardless of what unit they are moving from/to, contradicting normal Pilot Swap restrictions.

Minor Actions
Purchases
Rogues use the Rogue shop, and may purchase from the other Factions shops, at inflated prices dictated by their diplomacy score with that Faction. Rogues may not buy Infantry, Pilots, Services, Any 3x entry ship, or Refits from the other shops unless otherwise specified. Rogues may not purchase EF units in Zeon territory, or Zeon units in EF territory.
Rogues do not purchase ships in the same places as EF and Zeon PCs. Rogues may purchase Rogue shop ships in Friendly territory, Neutral territory, at Side 3, or on any EF/Zeon owned Urban Base or Space Colony. To buy a ship from another powers shop, you must be in that powers territory.
Special Actions
Rogues have the following additional special actions
Players
  • Train
Training gives 2 VP or CP if they have 100 or less, 1 if they have 101-200. Being attacked cancels Training. Rogues over 200 VP/CP cannot train. You may not Train if Injured or Fatigued. Only PCs may Train. Training removes the "Getting used to new machine" status.
  • Forage
Foraging gives the Rogue 25 SP at the end of that update. Being attacked cancels Foraging. This action cannot be made while Injured or Fatigued. Only PCs may Forage.
  • Sell
Sell actions can be used to sell units for 50% SP, or to sell cargo. Rogues may also make a Sell action to sell scouting reports or board passwords to Zeon, EF, or other Rogues. Being attacked cancels Selling.
Rogue owned ships and fleets can make Sell actions to sell cargo in their hangars, or to pawn themselves. Bases cannot be Sold.
Politics and Territory
Territory Grades
Rogues count EF/Delaz Fleet territory as Contested if Friendly, Neutral or Unfriendly with them. If Hostile they count it as Enemy territory, if Allied they count it as Friendly Territory. Rogues may move onto EF/Zeon bases as long as they are not Hostile with them, but may be stopped when doing so in the same way as from a patrol. Rogue bases may Contest territory, but may only control it if they are part of a Team.
Rogues count the Minor Factions territory as Friendly if Allied with them, Enemy if Hostile, but otherwise as Neutral Territory.
Teams
Two or more Unaligned Rogues may form a Team. Teams must have an HQ, either a non PC piloted ship or a fleet, as well as a leader. Teams are given a weekly salary of 25 SP per team member, the leader receiving an extra 25. A Rogue team may not exceed 4 members without webmaster permission.
When forming a team, an RP thread must be made announcing the teams creation in character, and I am allowed to veto its creation as being unbelievable. This tends to prevent teams being formed for out of character monetary reasons only.
Teams have their own set of Diplomacy ratings. A Rogue team member uses the teams Diplomacy rating, but keeps his own in the event that he ever leaves the team.
Diplomacy
Each Rogue has a Diplomacy score for each of the six Factions in the game. The bonuses and penalties for these scores differ, and are explained on the Diplomacy pages.
A Rogue Teams leader may voluntarily make the team Unfriendly or Hostile with other Rogues, teams or factions by making an RP thread declaring this, but must go up on the diplomacy chart in the normal way. Note that going Hostile with a faction voluntarily is almost always a bad idea, but can have its uses in the correct circumstance.
