The lvl3 SS Special Forces Operative is an awesome prize no doubt, but should it really be a 3rd place prize? I can care less about 'Hans Bond's' actions, but was more thinking about all the abilities he has it makes him quite a useful asset. A 3rd place prize for the EF is more along the lines of an improved medea, and not very improved at that. Does anyone else feel that perhaps the SS special force operative should be a 2nd place prize? My other thought would be perhaps it should be minus the terrorist specialization?

I am sure Ketara has a response for this, was just curious what everyone else thought.

It could be a second place prize if it retained the terrorist specialization considering that the federation (in comparison) only gets ships or vehicles.

However when in comparison to the feddie prizes, most of which have large vehicular carrying capability, can hold its own against MS or works on both terrestrial and/or interstellar terrain, it doesn't seem like that much of an imbalance to have an SS NPC with the terrorist specialization.

Honestly, the 24 CP per level alone is pretty fuckin' powerful.

I dunno. It's pretty situational what you can use the SpecOps Operative. I think the fact it excels in a single area only is what makes it a Third Place Price.

The prize placings are based on how much RP I think they are worth

3rd place is ~500 RP.

I think saying the SS Spec Ops guy is 500 RP is reasonable. He is situational and only excels in very specific types of events.

If he was a 2nd place prize I wouldn't be able to reasonably say he is as useful as a Gaw Recon. Nobody would ever take him.
