Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to end our lovely 0083 game early.


However, I wanted to explain what's been happening because I know you guys think I've just been playing world of tanks all week.

A week ago a friend came into a bit of a housing crisis, and because I'm not an absolute douchebag I let her stay here. I've always had problems writing when other people are around, and it can be hard to update while entertaining houseguests (although not hard to play video games, clearly). This is why I was away from the chat for a few days, and also why I have dragged my feet so much with this update.

Now, ordinarily a one week break or even a two week break would not kill a game. However, right now as I know you guys know I am house sitting, which is why I decided to run this game in the first place. I wanted to have something to do while I was here. My intentions were always to make sure the game ended before the house sitting job was finished.

Well, my house sitting job is done this week. I just spent a while wondering if I wanted to update for 1 or even possibly 2 weeks after going home, but I've decided I really cannot be worrying about things like that. I have stuff to do.


So I am going to have to end the game early. I've got a few more days here doing the house sitting so I will take my time and finish the Naval Review event, but our last week (the colony drop week) will not happen, unless Jim wants to do it I guess (hah!)

So I apologize for that. I know you guys were having fun, and aside from this issue the game has been a great success, and exactly what I wanted it to be.


I used to get really depressed when I closed games early and feel like I had let people down, but I think I am over that line of thought. We all had a fun month with the game and I don't think anybody is going to be up in arms over losing 5 updates. I know another RPG will come along, and maybe sometime I'll be able to run something like this again.

Scarth appears wielding the dildo of thread necromancy!!!

Curious to see what your gimmick is. Could be a way for Scarth to run a short game between 0083 and the next RPG (Scarth's, Kaz's, Kusu's or someone else's).

Though, if Scarth did do it, Scarth would twist it into a "World Martial Arts Tournament" ala Dragonball rather than Naruto. Because noone beyond age 5 likes Naruto.

Pretty sure you can't get MissingNo outside of Red/Blue (maybe Yellow) without a Gameshark. You should play LeafGreen/FireRed, though. They completely overhauled the original games and add a bunch of great things. Now you can RUN by holding B, re-challenge trainers, explore quite a few more areas, and then there's the fact that it opens up about 150 or so more Pokemon in your Pokedex. You can only get 200 or so through playing LG/FR--the rest come from all the other Generation III games.

My hodgepodge team is as follows:

1. Farfetch'd (lvl 100)
2. Mr. Mime (lvl 100)
3. Jynx (lvl 100)
4. Venusaur (lvl 75)
5. Crabby (lvl 30, HM whore)
6. *whoever I feel like that day*

I just discovered what EV's are and I'm pretty angru since I've been leveling most of my stupid Pokemans on Machamps and they're all based around Sp. Attack, not regular attack. Pretty dumb.
