So what are we going to do? Just building a base without an RP to explain will likely attract unwanted attention, and we can't transfer RP to anyone.

Thanks for actually speaking up, Frenzy. We're taking what you're saying in consideration. But as of now, we'll need a majority objection to actually cancel the move.
The majority, including the webmasters and channel Ops, are still for the move. So the move will still happen as planned.
BUT! Because of your objection, and because I know of at least two people who have some grievances whom have yet to fully and publicly come out and say they're against the move (and/or come out to me personally to settle their grievances), I would like to state that we will hold a one week trial period for our move to ChatSpike. At the end of that one week if there are still any objections to anything we'll talk them over and sort them out. We can also hold some votes by then for anything people want.
In the meantime, we'd like to request that by today at 5pm CST/6pm EST/3pm PST for EVERYONE to vacate BluFudge and be on ChatSpike instead.

Found it and posting it for discussion. Keep in mind this was said back in like Feburary. (And Pegasus II ships seem to be above this cost)

Double agent isn't over powered at all. I think the RP Value of the 1st prizes was something like 2000+, possibly more but Ket would have to repost the values for us to know. Anyways, Rogues can purchase your board password anytime they want for 1k. Knowing the password of EF and Zeon isn't that surprising for a rouge to pull off at all. The shop purchase action would have to be quite large and most likely supported by a team to earn its value. And the patrol rolls, well those could always be beaten somehow but same thing, it is one day.
I think the beauty of it is the idea that the EF and Zeons will not know if the rogue got a nuke, or got a token immediately which is very rogue like of them.
Additionally, Ket you really should add more rogue prizes. The main sides get 4 or 5 options per tier but rogues get 2. Whatever happened to those mobile hidden bases and ideas?

If sombody has the logistics spec and the tactical support token, are they still limited to 4 services, or could they theoretically reach 5?

I already posted some (slight) misgivings on this move, since we've been able to power through Blufudge's hiccups before without anything bad happening, but if the move's going to happen, it'll happen.

The double-agent seems a little over-powered, and if taken would more than likely kill board activity.

I appreciate the writers who actually wrote out the event very cool ending. And, whoever wrote my death actually let a semi absent player go out like a bad ass so i appreciate that to haha  |

Okay, it's Sunday. We are set to move today. There have been no major objections and the majority seem to be on board.
So unless this changes, the move is a go. We have set a deadline, and I've been given no reason not to move ahead. If anyone still has anything to say, speak up before the deadline.
I am giving ample chances for everyone to have a voice here. I will not appreciate people saying I haven't done so.
(I already approached Ketara about his post above.)

I can't say I'm fond of the idea of moving, but I get the feeling it's going to happen anyhow.
Note that this isn't me complaining. I'll still follow IRC when I can, and I'm happy to stick around regardless of what happens. I just don't like the idea of uprooting everything when we've made it through Blufudge's other hiccups in the past.
I've got no problems with you being the owner, though.

It has come to my attention that a select few don't like how I'm doing things regarding this whole move even though I've freely opened up talks about it. Even though I have said time and time again, that if you have any issues, questions or problems, that you're fully free to speak up.
So I'm going to say it one more time: IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS, ISSUES, PROBLEMS, SUGGESTIONS OR QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL, PLEASE SAY SO. I am not going to do ANYTHING if the majority are opposed to it. I am also certainly not going to ignore ANYONE's concerns. However I can't help you if you don't speak up. Please be aware of this.
Some people are surprised and appalled that I even went ahead and registered the channels over at ChatSpike. I have to point out, though, we've been having problems with BluFudge for months. I registered the channels months ago as our BACK UPS. Tian was our initial channel owner, I wish that Tian had taken care of it. But Tian didn't, and no one else even bothered stepping up to the task including any of the Ops that we ALL appointed. Who else was left to do it but me? I wanted to make sure that we had somewhere else to go to when BluFudge went down (which has happened numerous times) so I went ahead and took care of the dirty work that no one else even volunteered for. I posted on the forums saying that ChatSpike is our backup. I posted it on PlantZebes. Not one soul voiced any concerns with this. I was left to assume that everyone was A-OK with it. And so I did.
Since then, about probably more than a week ago, Tian approached me through a pm on IRC and basically said "I'm giving you the channels. I won't be around as much." It made me a bit sad to see Tian go and to see Tian giving up ownership of the channels that a majority of us have been a part of for years and years. But Tian had me register the channels and so I did.
Anyways, now we're moving and I'm currently channel owner of the channels on both BluFudge and ChatSpike.
If you don't like the fact that I am channel owner, speak up. If you don't like the fact that we're moving, speak up. If you don't like the fact that we're moving to ChatSpike, speak up. If you don't like the fact that Cid, Threid, Daren and Radune are Ops, speak up. If you don't like the fact that Tian (just for whenever he visits) and Jim are channel administrators, speak up. If you don't like the channel rules we set up, speak up. If you have any suggestions you'd like to offer for a different server, or different Ops, channel owners or administrators, speak up. If you don't speak up, none of your concerns will be dealt with.
I don't know how much clearer I can be about this, guys.
