Biography- Bishop was born on side 3 in UC0048 and was soon after for unknown reasons only known to his mother was given to an orphanage. Not much is known of Bishop's childhood in the orphanage, but what in known is that he was not adopted and at the age of 18 was finally released to live on his own. It wasn't until the age of 18 when Bishop joined the Colonial Republican Guard where he seeked a sense of belonging. He served willingly even taking a special interest in marksmanship and keeping himself conditioned to make himself more useful to the Zeon Republic in a time of emergency.

Two years later, after witnessing the first combat ready mobile suits and volunteering to join the mobile training battalion a state of national mobilization was announced in response to a revolt in one of the colonies. The ZMF was divided up in to multiple branches. Bishop was given a notice that he would be enlisted in the mobile assault force but fate intervened. He was recruited into the Mobile Surveillance Force because of service and his loyalty to the Zeon cause during his two years of service he then begin training in the art of interrogation.

A few months later Bishop was embedded with a small SS team acting as a recon unit for any signs of resistance in a European town a few miles from a major city. His ms team was ambushed by Type 61 main battle tanks. Losing only one mobile suit to the ambush and destroying the enemy tanks and taking enemy prisoners that had surrendered, Bishop had rounded up the enemy combatants into a barn and had tied one of the prisoners upside down and begin interrogating him for the location of more Federation forces. The prisoner refused to answer and Bishop finally had enough, he broke out into a rage and begin skinning the prisoner alive from the leg down.

His horrifying screams could be heard from outside the barn and some of the towns people that had not been killed in the armored engagement from before could not bare to listen to the young man's screams, even members of Bishops own ms team tried to break into the barn and tried to put a stop to his brutal methods but they were unable to open the barn door. After a few minutes of trying to break the door open one of the soldiers hacked a hole through the door with a axe. By then, the screaming had stopped and their was no sign of the prisoner's body. The other prisoners were tied to chairs and were gagged and were obviously traumatized from the ordeal the other thing that was noticed by Bishop's fellow SS members was that their was a huge puddle of water were someone(Presumably Bishop) had poured a bucket of water to wash away possibly blood.

Bishop was soon after put into custody under suspicion of war crimes, he was accused of excessive force and taking part in acts of cannibalism during the interrogation. He was later acquitted of the charges because the body of the Earth Federation prisoner was never found and the other prisoners were discredited because of their affiliation as Feddy soldiers and because of their biased against Bishop. Bishop was soon sent back into the field because the first MS drop had taken place at the time of the incident that Bishop was accused of and more man power was needed to close the deal in Europe.

However Bishop is still in the cross hairs of some SS officers because of the perception that he is a "loose cannon" or a war criminal and some haven't forgotten what he was accused of by the surviving Feddy prisoners when he murdered their fellow comrade.

Throughout the One Year War, Bishop went on his own personal crusade seeking to tie up loose ends from his crimes in Europe. Along the way his service was spotty including being captured once and then released once Zeon leadership negotiated his release and a pardon was issued by General Revil. Not without suspicion from curious SS officers of his past he was held at Odessa for debriefing, he was soon after released.

Fearing that he was going to be "examined" by his fellow SS men for closer inspection, he quickly volunteered for a series of ground operations in which he was assigned to route out and kill guerrillas and mercenaries that threatened the Zeon cause. In the course of his ground operation he discovered to his dismay that the victim of his interrogation in Europe had survived. In the course of this stunning revelation, Bishop quickly eliminated two SS officers that were suspicious of his past. His main objective was now to deal with his once victim now loose end "Geiseric".

However for all of his careful planning and cover ups to protect his innocence the amount of bodies piling up was too much for even Bishop to hide, by a stroke of luck however, the Fuhrer Giren Zabi seen promise in Bishop Kratos. It was decided by committee that he was to be the pilot of a brand new top secret mobile suit known as the MS-19N Katarl. It was a unit designed for black ops operations and unconventional warfare. Bishop Kratos was considered to be the best pilot for it because of his independent nature.

During the battle of Odessa, Bishop volunteered for what look to be a suicide mission. He was officially listed as missing in action, however this was deemed necessary by his superiors, it gave him ultimate anonymity for his operations. Once he was given the Katarl he begin his tenure in the stealth mobile suit by attacking in hit and run attacks that threw Federation Squads off balance.

Despite his performance at Odessa, it was not enough to seal the deal and allow Zeon to win the battle of Odessa. He was then reassigned to space to continue his black ops operations. During this time his service is unknown according to Zeon records. Possibly due to Zeon officials shredding documents toward the end of the war. Once the end was upon Zeon and it appeared all it could do was delay the inevitable, Bishop seen the writing on the wall and he knew he would either end up dead or wound up being placed on trial along side the Furher for his crimes.

Bishop did what he normally did when the heat was too much to bare, he looked out for himself at the expense of some of his fellow Zeon. Rather then stand and fight he took full advantage of his Katarl and its stealth abilities. Months after the battle A Bao Qu, Kratos turned up in the Cima Fleet with his signature black mobile suit and a trail of wiped out Federal mobile suit patrols.



Personality/Mentality
Bishop could be described more as a scheming individual constantly dedicated to his own self preservation. He is looked at with suspicion because of his cold calculating nature and rumors about him eliminating SS officers in the past are rampant amongst his detractors in the Zeon remnants.

However when he has his free time he is consumed with his hobby of torturing his fellow comrades mentally in order to see what makes them tick and to see how to get under their skin. This trait alone has given him an unwelcoming tone amongst his own fellow Zeon.
