Hello everybody and thank you all for the kind messages notifying me of the 0083 game. Despite a much busier time schedule, I would love to play a 0083 game.
I do have a question: Do we still have anything we own/built from OYW5?

I will give out a bounty of 1 SP per picture to anybody who gives pictures of the following:
Sprites
Any sprites for anything that I don't have a sprite for. Images that are too crappy won't be taken. Sprites need to be roughly 24x24 px.
Lineart
Of any of the following:
Magella Attack Cannon
Puncher Shield
S-Mines
Head Vulcans
Scattering Beam Gun
Guntank Construction Type (a picture that isn't super shitty)

I would not advise that, Frenzy. If you want to maintain your streak, I suggest that you sign up with a new character. Any character linked to Veronica Wu and that damnable treaty will be harshly dealt with by the end of this event. Anything less is unacceptable.  |

That's kind of what I'd thought - wouldn't quite be fair to toss newbies against 100+ VP badasses right off the boat.
But as this is the case, I'd love to re-use Banks and his suit.

You can re-use them. There will be some VP nerfs to reflect 3 years of relative inactivity and to keep them from being too much better than starting chars.
You can also request to re-use old mecha, although I may not allow it!
If you have a character who is on the OYW5 roster as dead you can make a new character with their stats, with similar VP nerfs.

On a more serious note, if we had a living character that had gone into hiding or whatnot at the end of the last game, will we be able to re-use them, or are they on NPC status for this?

This thread will show records of who has gained the most EXP in the game, as well as who has gotten the most special RP and contest rewards.
EXP is defined as VP+CP minus whatever VP/CP you started with. So everybody starts at 0 and it is a ranking of whoever gains the most. People like to compete at this I hear.
