Earth Federation
First Place PrizesThoroughbredThe Thoroughbred was the second ship manufactured in the Pegasus line. Designed primarily as a mobile suit carrier, the Thoroughbred has much improved engines over older models of Pegasus, making it one of the fastest ships of the One Year War. With a decently large hangar capacity and a fair armament. The use of a Minovski craft system allows it to operate equally well in space and on Earth. Designed with Lourm in mind, its anti-aircraft capabilities are nothing short of spectacular.

Magellan IIUsed as a command center for large fleet engagements, the Magellan II is an early and rare modification on the original Magellan, with only a handful of units made. Somewhat longer than the original, its most important modification is a heavy sensor and communications array behind the main bridge, but also sports additional MPC turrets and missile launchers, giving it a much more powerful punch in ship to ship warfare. It retains the same proven AA suite of the original Magellan.

Heavy ForkAlthough it does not have the base melting fore MPCs that the Big Tray has, the Heavy Fork is a larger transport, and is used primarily to move a vast number of tanks, aircraft, infantry and mobile suits into the field. It has about 1.5 times the hangar capacity of the Big Tray, retains the artillery cannons, and also sports a large number of AA turrets, protecting vital assets in the fleet from enemy fire. Further, it has slightly better armor, speed and sensors than a Big Tray, to facilitate its role as a frontline MS carrier.

Gundam Zephyr PhantomThe single most expensive mobile suit designed during the One Year War (mobile armors not withstanding), the Zephyr Phantom was designed to see whether or not a mobile suit controlled completely by artificial AI was viable. Designed primarily as an anti-Newtype weapon, the Zephyr Phantom is not alive, and cannot be 'felt' by a Newtypes sixth sense. Performance wise, the Zephyr Phantom outperforms every mobile suit of the 0079 era, with the possible exception of the Gundam Alex. However, it remains to be seen whether or not the AI system is designed well enough to compete with the aces of the one year war.

Second Place Prizes6x lvl2 Admiral A-1The Admiral A-1 was an early and eventually discarded model tank designed to defeat Zeon duchy Zakus in terrestrial warfare, before the culmination of the V Project leading into Federation made mobile suits. Supervised by the part of the Earth Federation that wanted nothing but bigger and better warships, the Admiral A-1 was more akin to a mobile armor than anything else, crewed by no less than 16 people and with guns providing a 360 degree field of Zaku killing fire. Its armor was impervious to a 120mm machinegun shell, but the slow behemoths would not fare as well against the quick Doms and its giant bazooka. About a dozen test models were built, but the line was never mass produced.

Picture- Class: Superheavy tank
- Armament: : 1x 200mm fixed main gun
(A); 3-barrel 155mm cannon turret; 4 x 90mm cannon turret; 20x anti-personnel machinegun; high-output flamethrower; 12 x grenade launcher
- Systems: Reactive Armor
- Note: The Admiral A-1 MS team operates similarly to a ship, it is an MS team that can be moved and controlled seperately of the owning player. As Admirals in the team are destroyed, they can be replaced with Type 61s and Type 74s to a maximum of 6, but when the last Admiral is destroyed the entire MS team is lost. The MS team may join a surface fleet and does not act towards its maximum capacity in any way, and moves as a Land Battleship class ship.
FujiThe Fuji was the product of the original push to make a Salamis class cruiser designed to carry mobile suits. A heavy and extensive refit, the back portion of a Salamis was totally removed to make way for a large, bulky mobile suit hangar, and the reactor was improved. Four mobile suits could be stored in the hangar, dropping out of a large hole in the bottom. Two smaller cargo bay doors were put on the right and left sides of the hangar that could service a fighter if necessary. The engines and aft armaments of the Salamis were replaced. The main engine was supplemented by a number of backup engines, making the Fuji slightly faster than the original Salamis despite the increased mass. A seventh MPC was added, the positioning of the rear guns would later be used on the Salamis Revised series. Finally, an extra AA gun was added, as the hangar blocked AA firing lines to the back of the ship. Only a handful of Fuji class ships were completed, the EF later opting for the cheaper Salamis Kai carrier refit.

lvl3 Archaic MagellanThrowbacks to older periods of warfare, the oldest Salamis and Magellans were armed with conventional ballistic cannons instead of mega particle cannons. While the ballistic cannons had longer ranges over beam turrets, their stopping power was much less, and their armor was thinner, as the ships had to make room for vast ammunition supplies. While currently every ship in the EFSF has been refitted with beam weaponry, at the time of Lourm some 10% of the three thousand battleships present were still of the old variety. Since Lourm, a few of the old battleships have been salvaged and are now once again in service.

Everest class BattleshipAn archaic holdover from the days before the foundation of the Earth Federation, a handful of Everest-class battleships improbably remain in service with the terrestrial arm of the Earth Federal Forces. Though superceded in most aspects by aircraft and smaller, more modern destroyers, the Everests have been tenaciously preserved by certain interests within the EFF in the name of providing for fleet defense and supporting amphibious operations. In spite of being nearly 180 years old, the vessels have been continuously upgraded over the decades and should not be considered obsolescent as a vintage ship of that period would assuredly be.

WeldeaA ridiculously large variant on the Medea, the Weldea is designed to carry massed amounts of mobile suits over large distances. Slower and less maneuverable than a Medea, its armament is very slightly improved, and its hangar compliment is nearly double that of its smaller brother. Few Weldeas were made, as it was found the much more bulky and slower aircraft could not effectively outrun Zeon Gaws, and made an easy target.

C-88 MedeaThe C-88 Medea, a higher performance variant of the original Medea, is a slightly smaller, but much faster and much more aerodynamic ship. Unarmed, it is generally used inside EF controlled territory to transport very important persons or cargo.

lvl2 Columbus IIThe original Columbus is a heavy cargo freighter that was commandeered by the EF to be used as a fighter and later mobile suit carrier. However, the original Columbus is slow, unarmed, and extremely lightly armored. Left with a lot of time on their hands at Luna II throughout the war, EF engineers redesigned the Columbus into a functional war vessel. While the Columbus II is still unarmed, its engines have been overhauled and the entire hull's armor plating has been thickened, making it a more durable ship all around.
